The breathable, membrane-like material used in these shoes are remarkable. When I'm lazy I wear these shoes instead of my boots in the Wisconsin-winter, and the snow won't dampen my socks. I also wore them whitewater rafting in Costa Rica for 4 hours down the Pacuale river. They got soaking wet, but dried in less than an hour under the sun. Due to whatever technology these shoes have, they're as good as water shoes in the right conditions. After one punishing week of hiking through Costa Rican muddy jungle, I'm wearing the shoes again to teach my high school Spanish classes -- and they still look very new.

I used to wear the F-lite 230s, which generally run half a size smaller (I traditionally wear a US 12 but pickup their US 11½). These shoes, however, run true to size, so choose your normal US size. They look and feel great, and I highly recommend them!

I loved everything about this shoe... even the crazy color combination. It has served as an excellent road shoe as well as xfit training shoe. Probably suited best for shorter distances, under 10, and maybe not the preferred racing flat.

Have only had these shoes for a short time and already love them more than most of their predecessors! Lightweight, supportive, comfortable, stylish. Only comment, and not a complaint - they DO run about a half size small compared to other more well know, on every shelf brands. I ordered the size I normally wear and from the size chart however had to return for a half size larger.

My husband loves these. Very comfortable. Good if you have feet issues. He ordered another pair in a different color.

I recently purchased these shoes strictly for workout purposes. They are awesome! Very light, flexible, and have a flatter sole which is good for weightlifting.

They run small. Im an 11.5 but ordered a 12. Very comfortable shoe and easy to break in. I run and train in them and they are great. This is easily one of my favorite shoes. Also, I ran a Spartan Race in them, very muddy, but they washed up like new. Very impressed!

I actually bought these shoes and another brand of training shoes at the same time. I immediately knew that the Inov-8 shoes were the shoes that I wanted. They are extremely comfortable and light almost like having on a just socks. I think they may very well be the best pair of athletic shoes that I have ever purchased. I wore them 15 hours a day for four days straight right after I purchased them, and I have nothing but great things to say about them. I will definitely buy another pair in the future.

These are my third pair of F-Lite 240's. Love them for strength & fitness training (e.g. Crossfit). Good fit, sticky soles, just the right amount of cushion & very lightweight. Wore size USM 11.5 for first two pairs I owned. For whatever reason, this newest version runs smaller - had to go up a full size to 12.5.

Great shoe. It is a light and comfortable shoe and it looks good. I have trouble finding shoes that fit my big, wide feet. These are great and I'm wearing them all the time.

These are great for cross fit and lifting types exercises. These are not meant for long runs. But these are great gym sneakers. They run one full size small!

These are incredibly comfortable, snug fitting and they feel stable and close to the ground. They do not restrict toe and foot motion. A great minimal, lightweight running shoe.

Fantastic feeling shoe, but it runs a bit a small. I have 14/13.5 feet, and my toes feel the front. Otherwise, wow, a great feeling, luxurious shoe.

Awesome shoes, love inov8. They are light, close to the ground, good for crossfit training or just to hang out. Very comfortable feeling, and nice looking too.

I have only ever worn athletic footwear while performing an athletic activity until I came across the Inov-8 F-Lite 240's. Now, I find myself putting them on for casual wear because of how incredibly alive they make my feet feel! The wide toe box probably plays a large part in their comfort because it allows toes proper anatomic space to function. I have also used them quite successfully for vigorous games of tennis even though they are not intended for that sport. Highly recommended. The shoes do though run about a half size small and I had to exchange my initial pair for that reason.

I got these shoes for my husband and he loved them. My son is disabled and I got him a pair also. They are really great shoes. They run a little small so I would suggest getting a size bigger.

These are very similar to the 230s, but if you've got a wide foot, these are a more comfortable fit. I don't like many of the colors Inov-8 offers. I didn't want black, would have rather had a basic grey, but without that option, I just go for the bright red or blue.

I absolutely love the inov-8 F-Lite shoes. They are very light and comfortable for everyday use, but tough enough to hit the trails. If you are looking for a minimalist shoe that looks good, is comfortable, yet lets you feel the trail/road, these are the shoes for you. I have three pair, and plan on continuing to use the inov-8 line for quite some time.

Love these shoes. Fell into a pair of Inov shoes a couple years ago and wanted to try a different style. Sometime around my 45th birthday me feet started getting picky about shoes and sizes. These are great, the only test yet is time.

I very rarely write reviews, but just bought my second pair of these and figured I'd give my 2 cents. I've had a pair for a year and I do crossfit workouts and wear them nearly every day. They have held up amazingly well, despite the hard use and light weight construction. These are not your typical athletic shoe; they are meant to be light and resemble a minimalist shoe. I was surprised with how it just feels like a mesh sock around your foot, but got used to it and now I don't want any other shoe. They are extremely breathable and flexible. To me, these are the perfect shoes for crossfit and other high-intensity programs, given you want to wear a low-heel, lightweight shoe.

My son loves them. Comfortable, right out of the box. The memory foam is the secret -- and worn around the house for a bit confirmed that they are not hot shoes, as we had feared would be the effect of the foam. Excellent shoe. Perhaps more important, I've been fighting cancer, making things difficult. It was great fun to get the shoes delivered, and let my son and I 'shop' together again. Thank you, Zappos.

I was undecided on whether to go with a larger size than normal given the mixed reviews. I would definitely go half a size larger next time. I just started wearing them today, so time will tell on durability but they look sharp.

Performance-wise this is a great shoe. Be careful of sizing, you may want a full size larger than normal. I got a half size bigger and they are snug. I have another model of shoe by this brand and half size was perfect. But this model may be best a whole size up.

These are fine shoe. However, at first they seem to fit very tight, especially in the left foot, which may be a difference in my feet. Although acceptable, I may have opted for half a size larger. I have a different model shoe the same size by this company that seems to fit a little better for some reason. I will purchase from this company again, and I would recommend this to a friend.

I love these shoes, super comfortable and lightweight. My only problem with them is that after 2 months, I'm starting to wear through the side, on the outside of my foot. Too much rubbing on my small toe from moving side to side during my workout is wearing right through the mesh of the shoe. Wish I could have gotten more than 2 months out of them!
