Second pair of these. Great shoe. Very stable and I love the speed laces. Gore-Tex keeps your feet dry.

These shoes are impressive. They are super comfortable from the moment you put them on. They are great quality, lightweight, breathable and fit true to size.

These shoes are absolutely the best running/hiking shoes I've ever had. I was anticipating them being a little bulky and heavy but they are suprisingly light. The lacing system is very well thought out as well. The fact that these shoes are favored among navy SEALs and other special forces operators should tell you something as well!

The fit is much tighter than my previous pair of the exact same shoes, but once my foot is in, they fit like a glove. They look cool on me, too.

This is the 4th pair that I have purchased. For me this a perfect shoe for fit, comfort, & looks. And, Zappos is a super company to buy these shoes from.

I've just about worn the soles out after a year, but I'm happy with the shoe. As stated, they are a little stiff but warring them to knock around in for a while soften them. The only problem I had was the width at the toe box, I have a wide toe area so had to jump up a half size. Ten an a half was definitely too narrow at the toe. I guess, with Solomon, I'm between 10-1/2 and 11. Normally, I ware a wide, but I'm impressed with Solomon's quality.

Great style and features. Shoe runs small. I wear a 10 and needed a 10.5. Heal box is low. I wear orthotics and found my heal lifts a lot. Wear is poor. I had them a year and wear them nearly every day. Soles wore smooth. Now they are only good around town. Unique lacing is quick and easy but the anchor point which runs across the toe cut the shoe material and I now have holes on the toe of the shoe. Lacing also slips over time which is anoying. Gets worse with age. I need to snug laces several times a day. Also not made in USA so I'm switching to a shoe that is.

These are stiffer than the non-Goretex equivalent, as to be expected. The rear of the heelcup fits awkwardly, pressing into the outer areas of the heels. I am not sure if this would break in or cause breaks in the skin. The size seems slightly on the large side. The style is trying too hard, fabric streaks and lumpy layers of foam and synthetics and rubber that are intended to appear impressive and manly, but instead come across as the adult equivalent of Transformer toys meant to impress boys. It would be nice if the next edition simplified and streamlined the aesthetics.

Hi, this shoe felt way to tight, (not wide enough.) Also those dawn Shoe Laces, I really couldn't get them work ...WHAT A REAL pain. Sorry, really disappointed! Happy New Year, Don

DO NOT BUY THIS SHOE! It's less of a shoe and more a medieval instrument of torture. The soles are as hard as wooden planks. I don't understand how a shoe like this gets past the prototype stage. The soles are so rigid, whenever you land on any uneven spot, like small stone or small divet, the shock cannot be taken by flexing your foot and instead goes into your ankle. I did one trail run in these shoes and tweaked both ankles so bad I couldn't walk normally for days. Now the shoes are dirty and can't be returned, but I will ask Zappos for a refund. If I knew a good lawyer, I would try to sue Solomon. But they look great, and the cable instead of laces is awesome.

This has got to be one of my least favorite shoes ever. If I could rate lower than one star I would. I had a pair of the original XA Pro's many years ago and they were one of my absolute favorites shoes of all times. These are nothing like them. They are extremely stiff and uncomfortable. They are a very awkward fit. Materials seem to be good quality but they are sooo uncomfortable. I've given these several months to break in, but I'm throwing in the towel. I hate these shoes. I wish I would've boxed these back up and sent them straight back for a refund.

Very comfortable. Great for the trails. I would have given this shoe 5 stars however it simply did not hold up. The material on the shoe where it bends began to rip on both left and right side which made it no longer water proof. Water comes in all the time. Before the tear it held up just fine. The shoe began to fail within 4 months. Probably put on 3 times a week. Also with the tear even if you clean them you cant got to out in public with them since they look beat up. I still use them for the trail since they are very comfortable. I wanted to like the shoe but it simply failed and for the price one pays it's simply not worth it. Going back to Vasque.
