Super comfortable. I'm a nurse and wear these all night. Tried many many pairs of sneakers, walking shoes, hiking shoes, trail runners and these are one's that are keepers

Went straight from the box to a 10 mile hike at Big Basin. Shoes were the most comfortable I've ever owned for hiking - lightweight, sturdy, great cushioning. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Overall I'm very happy with these Salomon's. I found them to be super comfortable on long hikes and very lightweight and the soles have excellent grip. The width was okay for me but was close...they do run a little narrow etc., and they're snug.

These are great shoes! No break in required. The are very well made. I run very frequently, I am in the military and put most of my footwear through pretty heavy use. I would recommend these shoes to anyone.

First time writing a review. I normally hike in my Lowa Renegade boots but I wanted to go a bit lighter with trail runners. I love my Lowas but I'm trying to lighten my load. I've tried at least a dozen different trail runners from LaSportivas to Merrells to Salomons but haven't been able to find one that fits with the support I was looking for and also fit my feet, I have a wide left foot and everything else gave me trouble with narrow areas across the ball of my foot. Not these, they fit great. I'm hiking with approximately 30 lb pack in the Sierras and Rocky Mountain National Park. Right out of the box hiking 30 miles in 4 days these are awesome. I think I'll add some Superfeet insoles after a few more miles but I love them so far. Zappos is the greatest! Love the return policy.

The fit of the shoe feels great and they are also very comfortable! I like the style and only hope that they are as durable as my last pair of Salomon shoes which are still going strong after a ton of abuse! I like the full lace system on this style vs. the speed-lace system on some others! I would recommend them to a friend!

I recommend these highly!! Right out of the box they were broken in. So far my favorite sneakers I've ever purchased. The feel rugged yet light and I have worn them in mud, rain and snow and they have kept me dry. They are not designed for it but they are very rugged for the cold New England winter we've had! Great product! Can't wait until warmer weather here and get them on the trails!

These shoes are great, the perfect balance between a flexible sneaker-type shoe and a more supportive hiking shoe. I love Salomon's fit but the speed laces annoy me, fortunately these don't have them. They do not carry women's size 11 for this shoe so I ordered the men's 10, it fits great with plenty of room. I would say the fit is most similar to the old Montrail Mountain Masochist (before Montrail was bought out by Columbia). The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it doesn't have a gusseted tongue, it doesn't even have a way to thread the laces through the tongue to keep it centered. What $100 trail shoe doesn't have a gusseted tongue? Otherwise a really great shoe, comfortable and with good traction.

These could be good trail running shoes. They are fairly low weight and have an aggressive sole. I found the tongue annoying though - it was very narrow and slipped around leaving the top of my foot exposed. The tongue was also too long and rubbed on the front of my leg.

I bought these for my husband. He loves them. They have an extremely comfortable footbed. He walks and does a bit of trail. They can be worn for hours. I wish that there was more of a color choice.

These shoes seem too narrow & small. I like the design & color palette. But they were so tight I couldn’t bear to wear them for more than 3 minutes.

After a few months of wearing theses shoes they started to feel smaller in length, and no, my feet aren't growing. The shoes don't provide much support within the shoe. They seem to slide around because the fabric of the shoe is soft and pliable. The components of the shoe are well made and they are made to last, but they're not great for hiking or rough terrain types of activities. I'd consider more of a casual walking shoe for flat trails. I have other Solomon shoes that are way better for off trail terrain.

This shoe's narrower than usual toe box caused me to develop a soft corn on my right foot. Bummer. I love Salamons when they fit. These didn't, at least not on my right foot.

Salomon makes some of the most stylish quality made athletic shoes I can find. But, they have two major problems... 1) They are ALL extremely narrow, and 2) they are not shaped for the human foot. Who's foot/toes comes to an extremely narrow centered point?!
