Overall this would have been a good, sturdy hiking boot, however, I am discovering Oboz footwear runs very narrow. This style not available in a wider width, so I will continue to search. They seemed to be comfortable, despite the narrow fit. Would recommend considering a wide width in this brand - even if you have never worn wide width footwear.

These were supposed to be a wide boot, they were not even close to the width of a regular sketcher tennis shoe. If you wear a wide shoe, these are not the shoe for you.

So wish that Keen would come out with WIDE widths for women. Most of their men's hiking boots come in wide.... why not women?!? I had to return these, much too narrow for my barely wide foot.

I love the fit bit they don’t have good traction on wet surfaces.

I love the look and for the most part the feel of these boots & they seemed to be well made. Unfortunately the upper back cut into my Achilles the minute I put the first one on, so unfortunately will go back and I'll look for a shorter model. Probably just the way I'm made. Was hoping they'd replace my latest Keens which have been a disappointment.

I really wanted to love these boots. The red color is gorgeous. But the boot was very stiff and the roe box felt cramped with mid-weight socks. Back they go, and thank you Zappos for your wonderful return policy.

These boots looks great and feel very sturdy. They were a bit too stiff and clunky in my view. Also, the walnut color is less green and more brown than pictured.

Beautiful well made boots. My shoe size is between a 7 1/2 and and 8. I ordered these in an 8. My feet are slender and I have a high arch. First time ever I experienced a toe box that was too low (it squished the tops of my big toes). This was quite uncomfortable and I didn't want to see if I could break them in, I was concerned I would end up with toe issues...

These are gorgeous shoes. I love the red color and the leather. However, they were too small in a 40. I usually wear a 9.5 and they were so stiff. The width felt tight too.

Like others have written, this is a great hiking boot, but the ankle support area presses in on the outside of your leg, above the ankle bone. So cute and comfortable except for that.

I wanted to love these boots, but the two little points at the top back of the boot dug into the back of my left leg only. The right boot fit perfectly. All other aspects of the left boot fit perfectly. A defective pair? Maybe. Would they break in and become comfortable in time? Maybe. But I really just can't take the risk of being hurt, so back they go. -sigh-

These boots are very comfortable, but they are NOT waterproof. I've purchased and returned 2 pairs because they leak, even just when I walk through wet grass. The 3rd pair I even sprayed with Kiwi Camp Dry Heavy Duty Water Repellent spray before wearing them, but my feet still got wet when I walked through wet grass. In addition, the manufacturer's exchange process is slow. After I exchange the 1st pair, it took over 2 months to get the new pair of boots.

First I ordered size 9 M. I usually fit true to an 8.5 M. The left boot was tight across the widest part (ball) of my foot. The right fit fine. I kept the boots on after walking around the house for a while and loosening the lace across the ball. After a half an hour my toes were cramping, not bumping the front but from being squeezed across the ball. Returned and reordered 9W and basically the same with the left boot still too tight. I have been hiking and backpacking for 35 years and do not have one foot wider than the other, so it seems to be how the boots are constructed. Really disappointing since the fit on right boot is perfect, and the boots would be absolutely fine if they were both sized the same!

I bought these last summer and wore 2 times in the fall for pre-snow hikes. Both times my toes hurt. I thought - ok - they are new and tight, no big deal. I just wore them again and no - these really hurt my feet. And I wear Oboz snow boots for 5 months on all snow hikes, snowshoeing etc. Daily multiple times a day. With zero issues. I did order 1/2 size larger as suggested and they are still tight/small. This is not OK.
