These were to replace my old faithful trainers that have traveled well and kept me comfortable in all kinds of terrain. The new ones fit quite nicely and are comfortable all day long. The old ones were fitting a bit loose. I would recommend these to a friend.

Its a great shoe. I will only buy NB shoes made in the US. NB shoes made outside the US are not the same quality

This is my fourth pair of these shoes. I've had issues with plantar fasciitis and Achilles' tendonitis for a couple of years. The New Balance store in Albuquerque set me up with these. They're kind of heavy for tennis, but the New Balance tennis shoes I bought, at a much lower price, left me with soreness in my heel. So for me, these shoes are well worth the money.

I bought these for my husband and they've become his go-to sneaker. He wears them all day as he tinkers in his workshop. I should say he has flat feet and replaced the footbed with his own orthotic insert. But he's found them to be quite stable while still providing cushioning and overall support. They breathe well and look neat. (Blue and gray.) The toe box is a good size--no crowding or rubbing. This is all good news because he has a small pile of rejected, and rather expensive, sneakers littering the bottom of our closet so we're really happy to have found this shoe and will buy it again.

I agree with others that the tongue is to short the shoe strings get caught around the top of it,If New Balance would fix the tongue and make it longer and more padding like the Brooks Beast 16 they would have a top tier shoe

Excellent fit and comfort out of the box. Bought these to replace the disappointing Brooks Addiction 13 and am thrilled to find a replacement that's even better! Comfortable from the first run. Will definitely buy again.

These shoes are a perfect fit for me at 10.5 EE. I like the rounded toe for walking, as opposed to the tapered toe common on Nike and others. The shoes provide excellent support and comfort and the workmanship is good. They are handsome shoes for walking and working on your feet.

I am overweight and I have had flat feet all my life. I have been taking 2-mile walks in these shoes (on dirt roads) and my feet feel relly good. I am using an old pair of these shoes to just walk around the house. For people like me, these are the best shoes anywhere ever. I just ordered another pair because if they ever quit making these I am going to need to get some kind of antigravity thing.

I ordered a full size larger bcuz I have a new brace for the left ankle. It works beautifully and my right foot is well supported too. Great shoes!

This is my second pair of these shoes. They are light and comfortable. The New Balance shows provide excellent support for my feet and heels. My work place has concrete floors and the support provided by these shoes has reduced the back pain I experience

My Husband has high arches so needs a wide shoe to accommodate the room he needs. This shoe is perfect. Before finding this shoe, had ordered the Brooks Beast 16 in size 11 4EE and this one in 11 EE . The new balance was plenty wide enough but needed to go down a size. The Brooks Beast 16 size 11 4EE was too narrow but the size 11 length was good. In the past Asics 11 EE has worked but not anymore. I don't know what has happened to the Asics brand. Finally this New Balance M1540V2 in size 10.5 EE is perfect. I feel the New Balance sizes are true to your regular size for Athlete shoes . Don't have to factor in all the styles even within the same brand. Once you find your size pretty much works for all styles in New Balance. These have plenty of cushion and are good for side to side support. / Stability. They look good too. Got them in the black. He loves them. Thank You Zappos !!
