I ordered the 39 and 40 and neither one was quite right. The heel felt loose and my toes seemed to go too far forward. Very comfy and a friend has these. I really wanted to like these shoes and keep them!

The elasticity of the top strap is not comfortable, it resulted in swelling of my feet after wearing them for a day at a conference.

I love the color and the style, so comfortable. This pair however, was too big on the left foot, and too short on the right!? Also, with my skinny ankles I walked right out of the shoes from the back. TOOOO BAD---love this shoe! This red pair is going back.

Shoe was cute, but is very tight on the front but loose back heel area, so when you walk the foot slips up & down in the back. I tried to give the shoes to 3 family members who wear the same size & no one could wear them. I should have returned them. It is a colorful neat idea but a poor fit.

Right shoe is too big; left if fine. I ordered another pair to try to get a better fit on the right shoe, but it also is too big. Obviously some quality control problems on what could be a very comfortable shoe.

My previous pair of Mevs was a 39, this pair is so tight. I thought that I would give it a try. But it is not stretching out at all, causing major swelling in my ankle but I still love them. Can I try a 40?

These are the perfect comfortable and stylish summer shoes for my wide feet! They are animal friendly, too! I bought these the summer before last in bronze. They go with everything and I have never had so many compliments on a pair of shoes. I was concerned that they would stretch out and they eventually did, but it took a lot of wearing. Two summers times every other day. I am back for another pair. I usually wear an 8½-9, and have wider than average feet.

Shoe was too big even though I have other Bernie Mev shoes in this size. Both back and strap were very loose. Had to return them.
