I have owned a pair of these in red for about two years, and have actually been stopped in a museum by a group of women who NEEDED to know about them & insisted my mevs were worthy of their own exhibit! I also traveled overseas last summer & these shoes were a godsend - comfy enough to endure 8 hours of walking day in and day out (also eliciting a lot of compliments while on vacay). So... I have another vacation planned, and a pair of slacks which will NOT go with the red mevs. The multi color will be just the ticket :)

I wear an 8.5 & the 39 fit fine. These shoes are so comfortable to walk in. Wore all day & could have worn longer! I need arch support and the design of these shoes filled that need. I have arthritis in one of my toes and because of the stretchiness of the material, the toe had no discomfort until after about 12 hours of walking in the shoes. I order 2 more pairs in different colors. I personally would not wear these shoes for a dressy occasion, but are fine for jeans, pants, skirts, casual dresses.

I am already a fan of Bernie Mev shoes, but these Bernie Mev Halles were my first sandal purchase. I bought the dark multis and the red and love them both. They are beyond comfortable and adorable as well! I had a problem with the sizing, but thanks to the incredible Zappos Loyalty Team, everything turned out well. I wear a 7½ shoe. My winter Bernie Mevs are a size 38 and fit perfectly. I ordered the sandals in a 38 but they were a little too big. I exchanged them for size 37 and they fit beautifully!

I wear a 9 and ordered the shoes in a 40. However, they flopped on my feet, similar to flip flops. I returned the size 40 for a 39 in hopes that the shoes would slip and flop on my heels but I had the same problem with the smaller size. I have seen many favorable reviews for these shoes but I am disappointed.

Love, love, love these shoes! They are super comfortable and fit perfectly. They look great with jeans, leggins and skirts, too! Very nice.

I LOVE this brand. They are quirky and incredibly comfortable. Can't believe my tired old feet can now wear a high wedge. The strap is a little lose, and I need a bit more arch support in the flat designs, but I keep singing the praises of bernie mevs to anyone who will listen.

Bernie Mev...where have you been all my life? I was a person who had two modes: Luccheses, or flip flops. This made summers tricky on a work/business level. Not now! These shoes are ridiculously comfortable, stylish, and just fantastic. Two thumbs way up.

These shoes are SO comfortable. And the bonus is, they are CUTE! This is my third pair of Bernie Mev. shoes and I really love them. You feel like you are walking on air, and actually, I think you are!

I love the Halle Bernie Mev. I have arthritis in my feet and cannot wear any other shoe with a wedge or higher heel. This style is so comfortable and make me feel very in style! The quality is great and they do not stretch out of shape.

My feet are very complicated. My toes suffer daily. However, Bernie MeV has come to my rescue. The elasticity is the trick. Have these in red and grey, other Bernie styles in many colors. My salvation. Toes no longer tingle, but if they could, they would. 40s look to boot!

Just received this shoe thanks to the usual very fast Zappos service and am wearing it today. I really like this shoe -- the wedge gives me a little height with the longer skirts I typically wear, but it's exceedingly easy and comfortable to walk in. I generally wear a size 9 and ordered this in a 40. The fit is perfect. I have slightly wide feet (not quite a wide width, but B width can be snug to tight on me) and these cause me no pain or squeezing. I highly recommend it.

I love these shoes, and despite thinking that I am probably right in between a 39 and40 (I ordered both) I kept the 40 (I wear a 9 in other shoes), and put a heel insert in the back to tighten them up a little. That worked and I cannot wait to wear them. I love the red!

Super comfy! Wear a size 9 ordered 39 & 40 to verify size. I kept the 39. The shoes are super stretchy/adaptive! Will definitely be back for more Bernie shoes!

These shoes are it! I took a chance and ordered in my normal size and they fit perfectly. My heel is narrow and this shoe hugs it nicely. I'm normally a flat wearer, but I can walk in these shoes all day. Super cute and I'm ordering more!

I read the reviews prior to purchasing these shoes. They said to go a size bigger. I bought both sizes because Zappos is so easy to exchange. I kept the bigger size as recommended and they are perfect.

My shoe size could be a 9, 9½ or 40, it depends on the style and manufacturer. I read previous reviews, so with trepidation ordered a 39! While my toes peak a smidgen more than I would like, the fit is good and as noted by others the elastic upper would have been too loose had I purchased my usual size. I have worn the shoes for a 3 hour stretch so far and found them very comfortable. I like the 40's vibe. I am 70, and have a minor metatarsal condition, I mostly wear a Chaco sandal.

I love these shoes. They feel like wearing slippers. I have them in both red and pewter... my favorite casual go to shoe.

I bought these in bronze and they are wonderful. I have bunions, a hammertoe and am usually a 7.5 ww- so one can imagine how hard it is for me to find comfortable shoes. Because these stretch, but hug your foot, they are perfect for me. I can walk in them for 12 hours painlessly! Now I only wear Bernie Mev to work.

I love these shoes -- cute and comfortable. I generally don't do any sort of heel for walking around NYC. However, I can walk for miles in these. Have gotten lots of compliments on how cute they are, as well. Love them so much I bought all the colors!

I bought these and the Bernie Mev Catwalk. I love both and they are so comfortable. I am an 8 1/2 and I bought a size 39. I highly recommend these shoes.
