I needed an easy kick-around shoe for walking around campus, walking the dog, and looking casual-appropriate and comfortable at the same time. These shoes are so. easy. Highly recommended. I wouldn't use them for running or anything athletic except in a pinch, but for when there's an exceptionally long walk across campus, or a squirrel that really gets the dog going, these are plenty athletic and comfortable. I really like the colors, too. I have size 11, which is consistent with most shoes I wear. Not much support, but I'm not asking for that. And, the rounded toe keeps my honking feet looking minimal.

I love these shoes so much I bought a pair for both my daughters. They are light and comfortable, and stylish of course. I am a trainer and I like to wear these to work in because they dress up my workout clothes a bit. I would not workout myself in these because for me they are not supportive enough but I like them for casual wear.

These shoes are fabulous! I read about them in a travel blog a few days before a trip and decided to try them. They are not as sturdy as my other runners, but the weight is perfect for carry-on luggage. The best part is that they are comfortable, fit well, and somehow do not make my size 10 1/2 feet look big. (Bonus that these come in 10 1/2!) I would buy these again and hope they are available when I need to replace my pair.

Pleasantly surprised with this pair of shoes. Lightweight and very comfortable. Neat design with no separate tongue.

Love these shoes. Incredibly lightweight, soft insoles, cute profile, flexible, slip on easily but stay on snug (mildly narrow but is still comfortable to wear). It's the PERFECT traveling shoe, which is exactly what I was looking for. Not bulky, not too athletic looking either because I wanted to pair it with normal clothes: shorts/jeans/leggings. I can wear normal ankle socks with them. *The design on the side is painted on, I assume eventually it might start to peel off after some wear, but you can't beat the price for the comfort and style of the shoe. Breathable fabric (not waterproof). Got the black+white color. So comfortable I think I want more in the other colors. (I normally would just wear a basic Converse shoe, however those rubber soles can be heavy for traveling and don't have much support/cushioning - which makes these Asics an awesome alternative!)

These are exactly what I was looking for - sporty and comfy for running around with my kids and to do errands. I view these sneakers as a casual shoe and not really a shoe for a serious workout (run/walk). I prefer a little more structure/support when I'm exercising. They run true to size, and slightly narrow, which was perfect for me. Love them!

I've been looking for a shoe for using in hotel gyms when I travel. This shoe is lightweight, flexible, and cute enough. It's not really a running shoe, but it's fine for walking on the treadmill and using the rowing machine. It can be worn with or without socks. It is also very reasonably priced.

These are fun, light-weight, and easy to wear right out of the box. I ordered my usual size, and have even been able to wear them with pretty thick socks (which I do not usually do with this type of shoe).

I love love love this shoe, except after about 3 months my big toe started poking out. Now going to buy new pair and reinforce inside with or something.

Really nice shoe. Haven't done a ton of walking in them so far, but am sure they would do me well if I needed to. One thing to note is that the tongue is completely attached (i.e., you can't really move it around at all). I don't think that makes this a bad shoe or anything, but it is sort of different.

Love these - I have both black/pink and grey/mint. Great for casual weekend wear and also easily tuck into my carry-on suitcase for quick workouts on business trips, when my usual Asics take up a bit too much space.

First time buying the Asics brand shoes. Cute with capris and rolled up jeans. Very lightweight, thin and comfortable. However, would not recommend if you plan on doing a lot of walking. Overall happy with my purchase and Zappos is always a great buying experience.

After reading some of the reviews I was really nervous about fit, so I ordered my normal size, 9, and a size up, 9.5. I'm glad I got both, as I went with the 9.5. As others mentioned, these are slip-ons, so your foot needs to fit in the opening. The 9.5 stretched enough for me to get my foot in, and the shoe itself did not feel too big. The 9s were difficult for me to get my foot into. I'm really not sure why they made these slip-ons, as that design choice is really the only complaint I have (and it seems that is where most people are having their issues as well). I wore these the other day for a 3.5 mile walk and they were wonderful! My feet were so comfortable, they did not rub anywhere, and I had no soreness the next day. I would highly recommend these, but would definitely suggest trying the next size up.

Such a great deal, so comfortable and so stylish. I get compliments on them all the time. This is my first pair of ASICS and I cannot see myself buying over-priced Nikes again! I am very happy with this purchase.

Looks great and very, very comfortable. Perfect for working and then going straight to a night out, when the more utilitarian "walking" shoes just won't cut it on the fashion front. At the same time, don't expect the support of the clunkier "walking" athletic shoes.

Extremely light weight and comfortable. I ordered a 6 1/2 and that is perfect without socks. I probably should have ordered a 7 but I live in a warm climate so socks aren't really a big deal. The shoe is not a wide shoe so take that into consideration. Also, even though the shoe has laces, the tongue is sewn in place so it doesn't allow any room to loosen the laces for easy slip on. I do like the shoe, and the look, and I can see being able to walk all day in comfort without rubbing because of the soft, lightweight material, that does have some stretch to it, especially around the toe area.

These lovely shoes are feather light with a nice cushy heel. Great for general walking about but not sturdy enough for workout shoes. Love them like wearing slippers. Seem to be sized accurately.

I had a pair of Metrolytes a few years ago and loved them so much so now that I am in the market for a new pair of shoes again, I decided to get another pair of Metrolytes. I couldn't remember the sizing on them but many reviews said they were true to size with a few saying they fit small, so I purchased my usual size. So disappointed to get them and find that they are way too big. I had to try them on with thick socks and they were still too big. Sadly I have to return them. They feel so comfortable though and the indigo/silver/bay color is so cute!! (I would call it navy and mint).

Nice shoes, but they were too small and a little tight. I normally wear an 8.5 in most shoes without problems. I wish the toe of the shoe had more soft padding for my arthritic feet. I will return.

Very comfortable and light shoe. I’m a nurse and wear these at work... so far no complaints!

I bought this shoe to use at the gym for my general workouts. I usually do a few miles on the treadmill, a half hour on the stairmaster and then some light weights. This shoe has proven to be fine for these purposes. In a pinch I can road run, but prefer a little more padding. This would be a good shoe for being out and about for many hours, but no hiking or serious miles. I am happy with this shoe for my purposes.
