European sizing is always a problem for me, and these were no exception. I'm apparently exactly between sizes. These were not particularly attractive on my foot, and felt a little short. Despite how lightweight they are, I found them very awkward to walk in. I've seen this style on others and liked them in a "they're so ugly they're cute" kind of way, but on me, just ugly. Back they go.

I have some Bernie Mev shoes. I washed them in the washing machine and now they have stretched. Does anyone know how to make them tighter? They were so comfortable before I washed them. I would like to wear them again, after all I did spent my money. I hope to find a solution.

This shoe had no toe room and it slipped off my heel when I walked. I will be returning them.

I purchased these shoes a little over a year ago. They have completely stretched out of shape ---so much so that they no longer stay on my feet. Don't buy!! LOUSY! WASTE OF MONEY!!

Two different sizes! Both are marked as a 37 and the size is technically the same but one felt really tight and the other much more stretched out. Adorable, but returning them.

I was ready to love these shoes. Received lots of compliments and they were fairly comfortable. HOWEVER, as another reviewer noted, your foot slips to the side very easily and you risk twisting or breaking your ankle. I am NOT a klutz. I run and walk a lot. However, on a 2 mile walk, I twisted my ankle no less than 4 times during the walk. My walking partner wondered what was going on. Then, just this morning, I went to drop my dog at doggie day care. He was super excited after a long weekend and went running into the building. The bottoms of these shoes are so slippery that I went sliding and flying into the counter. I truly believe the lack of stability comes from 2 things: 1. the stretchy, elastic weaving 2. a smaller-than-your-foot surface area. To minimize the wedge, the designer of this shoe slanted the wedge inward to make it look nice, but the result is that your foot isn't planted as firmly on the ground. And, also, just a very slipper sole. Very little traction. Fun and good-looking shoe, but WEAR AT YOUR OWN RISK.
