If you need any amount of support in a shoe, this is not for you. My foot slipped from side to side not because the shoe was too big, but because there was nothing to hold my foot in. Not a good choice at my age.

Love Bernie Mev and wanted to love them in this color, but the color just doesn't work for me, so they're still in the box.

I ordered the rainbow color. They're kind-of cute and kind-of "old lady". I wore them to the 4th of July fireworks and we had to walk a few blocks to/from the car. Very uncomfortable! I wore them again to an event at the kids school where we just stood around on the playground for a couple of hours. Uncomfortable again! I don't know what the deal is, because they look like they should be easy to wear, but I'd only recommend them if you don't plan to stand or walk for any length of time.

Too small - will need to order next size up.

Really cute and comfortable, BUT WAY TOO SMALL! I usually wear a 9 and ordered 42 because they run small. Still too small!! Very sad because they would be comfortable.

I saw someone wearing these shoes and loved them. But they just did not fit me. I am a size 8 and order the 38. The shoe was too short. I reordered in the 39 and one shoe was too big and the other too short. Checked and both shoes were marked 39. I have a high arch and a high instep and the strap was just too tight. The shoe material is elastic and I had waffle marks in my skin from the strap. I am returning the shoes. I also ordered the catwalk show and had same problem with the shoe being too short. It felt like the shoe was crunching my toes together. Wish they worked out. The funky colors is a very fun shoe.

This shoe is really cute, but runs smaller than the size they say.. usually a 9 would fit me, but I need at least a full size larger in these.. I should have sent them back.. MY BAD..

Very cute shoes. I kept them because I feel they'll stretch out over time, as others have. The strap is really too tight. I have a high instep, which might be the cause for that. I do find them comfortable, with the exception of the tight strap. Also, I have found different colors fit differently. The company needs to work on that.

The strap was too tight on the instep. Also, one shoe came up higher on the side than the other. I don’t like the “V” shaped upper. Overall, they look lopsided and a bit off. I need to return these shoes

I couldn't even get these on they were so small. Looked like a size 7.

I love Bernie Men shoes, but these are going back for 2 reasons. 1. There is a lump in the sole right at the outer edge of the toe box that digs into my foot. I had to return another pair (not from Zappos) once for a similar manufacturing defect, which is something they might want to work on at Mev. 2. The strap, as another reviewer mentioned, it way to large. It looks silly and does nothing to keep my foot secure. LOVE the overall fit, comfort and cute dotted print, but cannot keep them.

I like this brand a lot, but for me, this one is just too clunky and awkward looking, Probably would be comfy but I don't like the looks. It's just "too much" for me.

Be prepared to exchange the shoe! The size 41 fit exactly the same as the 40 I ordered a week before! Quite disappointed! It's a really cute shoe!

How on God's green earth can these shoes at size 41 (10.5) be so tight on my size 9.5 (40) feet? With these shoes on, my toes are jammed up to the front of the shoe. Unbelievable. I had already purchased the size 40 and have to return those. Meanwhile, I ordered the size 41 shoes and they are just as bad. I don't understand the Bernie Mev measurements. I have to return both sizes now and can't wear this shoe at all. Too bad as I need them for our upcoming Europe trip and will have to find another shoe that works for all the walking we will be doing there. On a positive note, the shoes are comfortable everywhere but not in the toe area. Strange!

Adorable. Colors are more tropical than the picture. Alas, their 41 is a short 41 and I don't want to gamble on the considerable stretch needed for comfort for my size 10B feet.

I loved the bright colors in the photo, but didn't realize that there are threads of bright silver sparkle, as well. I don't care for glittery shoes, so I unfortunately had to return them. As other reviewers have noted, the shoes are comfortable but not very supportive.

Had a pair a few years ago, same size, and they were great. This pair was too short so I returned.

I normally buy a size 11 to accomodate my orthotics, but I couldn't even get my orthotics into the size 11 pair I bought (from Zappos). So I bought a size 12 here, and though I could (just barely) get my orthotics into the shoes, when I tried them on my toes were all crunched up. By my calculation, I would have needed a 14 in their size (if they made that size) in order for them to fit comfortably. The rating system only allows for up to "felt full size smaller", but in fact these would have "felt 3 sizes smaller". If you have smaller feet, then buy these at least 2 sizes larger than you usually wear, although it's possible their shoes are more accurate in smaller sizes - I have no way of knowing that, of course. Just be prepared for the possibility you may have to send them back. If you wear sizes larger than 9, be prepared you'll probably find these don't fit you at all. PS: I went to the Bernie Mev website to send them a message on their contact page, but it didn't work, so I called the number the Zappos CSR gave me, and the man who answered said the contact form was "only for wholesalers". Not a very customer friendly company!

These were tiny. I thought they might be kids size 12 when I opened the box. Too bad. They are cute and might have worked well for me if they were actually womens size 12.

Love the shoes. I've been looking for this style and was so happy to have found them. I ordered one size larger(12), as suggested, but these are probably 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller. Have to return. I'm hoping the manufacturer will heed the reviews and make a larger size, or Steve Madden will bring back this style. Thanks to Zappos for the speedy delivery and easy return policy.

I usually wear 8.5, or 39. Upsized and still way too small.

I ordered these a size larger than I usually wear due to the reviews saying that they ran small. Unfortunately they were still too small. I also have a little bit wider of a foot and thought these would work as it says they stretch to fit your foot. It was not comfortable and there was pressure on my little toe. I returned them and will continue to look for a comfortable work shoe.

I wish people would stop pretending that a size 41 is anything but a 9.5. These shoes are really short. Width was great for my narrow foot, and would loved the light weight and snug fit if they'd fit. The silver metallic is also very scratchy - wouldn't be able to wear them with bare feet.
