My husband loves these boots. They’re the only ones he will wear for work. However, after searching high and low for the specific color he wanted and finally finding it in stock on Zappos, we were sent the wrong color regardless. My husband, out of desperation for a pair of boots that weren’t falling apart, settled for them, but I’m not super thrilled with not getting what I ordered specifically.

Lightweight and comfortable, based on 10 hour shifts for a week in new boots. No break in period just comfort.

Got these for about $40 through a work program but would probably get them again at full price without that. Sizing has always been an issue for me because I fall between 8 and 8.5 and have slightly wide feet, but an 8 moderately wide fits perfectly. Nothing pinches, colors are true to the picture, and it's an actual no-slip sole (very nice in winter with metal stairs and smooth concrete floors). They are also actually waterproof. I have to walk through standing water up to two inches deep sometimes to get into work in the winter, and that was the biggest reason I went for these - 100% happy with my dry feet in the morning! They do have a few downsides. The round laces don't tie super tightly and if I forget to retighten them at lunch I'll have an untied shoe by 2 pm. The decorative orange covers for the lace loops pop up and easily break off - I'm missing a few after a year - but they're entirely cosmetic so oh well. I added a photo so you can see what I mean. They are on the heavier side, but not so much so that I notice my feet dragging on an average day. And they do NOT breathe! It's a trade off for being basically waterproof, but worth mentioning because they caused me some issues with heat rashes in the summer, which I wasn't expecting. The least durable part (aside from the lace covers) is the insole, but they can be removed and replaced and still have lasted over a year. It is worth noting the 'moderate arch support' is very much moderate. It's there, but not by a lot. Overall highly recommend these shoes if you need something comfortable, durable, and especially waterproof.

Good fit, short break in time

I'm on my feet for 12 to 14 hours a day and I've been wearing this boot for nearly five years now - RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX - with never an issue. The End

Had it just shy of one year now. Fits just right and like most other brands of similar size. No issues with durability, but I do work in a warehouse instead of a construction site or some place where it may be rougher on the shoes.

The most wonderful shoes I've ever owned, I have easily walked 1300 miles in these shoes in 10 months time!!!! Absolutely NO BREAKIN PERIOD !!!! Super comfortable from day one !!! The only bad thing is it looks like they don't carry them anymore , bummer !!!! If you can get them I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM !!!!! Oh yeah , the soles are still in great shape !!

Love these boots. They feel good from the start. Take a little while to break in, but not as long as some others and they're great from then on out. Will never stray again.

I am a size 8 in Women’s Size and a Size 7.5 fits well. I would have liked a smaller size but, none were available but this size does fit well if you tie it a certain way. I received my pair fast and it was not damaged. I like the ‘look’ and feel of the shoes even after walking 10+ hours on shift. The sole is something that i did not like. I replaced that with a more “comfortable” padding.

The Safety shoe is extremely comfortable. Great foot support and light to wear.

The Danner work boots were very comfortable the first day I wore them. No break in needed. I have owned them in the past, and will not get any other boot In the future.

Fit good straight out of the box, comfortable to walk in, overall pleased with the purchase.

Shoes fit very well with minimal breakin. Very comfortable and seem to be holding up well at this point. Feet do tend to hurt a little at the end of the day but that's to be expected after walking roughly 8 miles a day and standing around on concrete. I highly recommend these.

Great Boots, just what i was looking for, will deffinatly be getting another pair when required

These felt great the moment I first put them on, which rarely happens for me. I have hobbit feet, super wide and short with one foot bigger than the other. There is lots of padding around the ankle. They are very easy to put on, lace up and take off. I've hiked a bit with them in the rain and they have kept my feet dry. Considering that the toe is reinforced, these are relatively light. It's my first pair of Danners, but if these are any indication of how comfortable their shoes are, then I am a convert. The style is ok for a utilitarian boot.
