Loved the boots BUT BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A LATEX ALLERGY- these boots have LATEX in the natural rubber!!! Zappos needs to put a LATEX ALLERGY WARNING on this product! ZAPPOS INFO tab mentions LATEX but I suspect most people don't read that detailed info...Suspecting LATEX was in the material I googled "Do Hunter boots contain LATEX," that's how I found HUNTER BOOTS warning...I'm still itching and swollen from trying on my boots. SADLY, returning!

LOVE my boots! Only tip I would give is to not wear ankle socks with them, they gave me blisters on my ankles :(

I bought the original toll gloss boots a few years ago and tried desperately to make them work. I have a 14.5 inch calf and they ended up being too tight. There was no way I could even wear them with socks, let alone tucked into jeans! I am a standard size 4/26, not a large person by any means. I have no idea why Hunter made the original shafts so narrow. Unless you have twig legs, they aren't going to fit! I decided to try again with these adjustable boots. I got them and they are perfect. I love the back buckle detail, it is so cute and allows me to wear big socks, little socks, tuck in my jeans, etc. I opted for the navy color, which is adorable. I wore them traveling and I got many compliments. Ladies, size down. I am a typical 8.5-9 and got these in an 8. There are no half sizes, so this was the best option. Per usual, Zappos went above and beyond to get me this pair before my work trip. I can't thank them enough for their accommodation and superb service. Huge fan!

I own this pair in the Hunter green. I have wide calf and these fit great I can put my jeans in my boot & also wear them with the liner! They fit me better then the original Hunter Boot.

I had originally purchased these boots in the "High Gloss Refined" model and they were too restricting across the arch of my foot. Also, while they did fit my calves I was worried about practicality with bulkier jean+sock combos. So I decided to try the adjustable back ones and they are great. I love that I can shove whatever pants I am wearing into these and go outside in rain/snow and won't get my pants wet. Alternately, you can tighten them up all the way and they look great. I normally wear a size 8.5 and I purchased the 8. They fit perfectly. I ended up getting the matte navy and the colour is really complementary to so many outifts. I am delighted with my purchase!

I'm in LOVE with these boots. My calves are about 14.5" and although the originals fit, not comfortably or with jeans so these are the perfect solution. I've had other rainboots (MK) and they were just floppy and heavy so I never wore. These I LOVE! Unfortuntaely, I live in CA so it doesn't rain much but i find other opprotunities to wear such as pumpkin patch. Highly recommend.

OMG! I think these boots are the best! I ordered many rain boots before ordering these and none were the quality of Hunters or the high style of Hunter boots either. If you have a wide calf, even up to 18 inches, you can fit into these boots! Here's the only problem...Now I want another pair!

I am 5'9", and the height on these is good. I don't consider myself to have abnormally large calves, and I'm not overweight, but these boots do not fit my calves at all. They're so tight even when adjusted loosely that there is a bulge around the ankle, because my calf shoves the boot downward. If you have larger calves--forget it. Mine measure about 16.5 in circumference and I ordered size 9, which are loose in the foot, but tight in the calves. Neither these nor the Huntress style work, sadly....great boots otherwise

Love these boots! I have 16.5" calves and these fit like a dream- just wide enough to slip them off easily once I adjusted them, and my boot socks can peek out the top! I originally bought 9s since I'm a 9.5, since reviews said you should size down. But given that I like to wear these with boot socks and winter socks, the 9s were too tight! I'm going 10s all the way. But the look is fabulous and still has that classic Hunter look on me, even with my larger calves.

I always have trouble finding tall boots that will fit my calf. I have been wanting hunters for a few years now, and took my time researching the back adjustable and the huntress. I decided to go with these because all the reviews stated that the look of the back adjustable is more in line with the originals. Normally I am a size 8.5 because of my wide feet - I went with an 8 and these fit great. I love the color, they are so comfortable, and they fit my calf just fine. I would definitely recommend these!

I thought long and hard about the color I wanted when purchasing these boats and am happy I choice the hunter green! Love them!

These are super cute boots, and the calf is wide enough to wear over pants and thick socks, which is why I chose these over the side strap ones. They run a little large, but in the winter time, that will leave room for a shearling insole and thick socks for warmth.

Love these boots! (My 2nd pair) what you need to know: it is true that you should go down 1 shoe size... Ordered size 7 for my 1st pair. They fit well but I couldn't understand why they felt so short. I really wanted the tallest shaft... They don't tell you that shoe sizes 5-7 have a 14.76" shaft while sizes 8-10 have 15.94" shaft. I ordered the 8 and while the foot is roomy, I am much happier with the height. On a side note, if you're on the fence, ORDER FROM ZAPPOS! (Get the ap for free next day shipping) you will not find better customer service on this planet!

Love these boots! I also have them in black. The back will adjust to wider calf. Also if you have skinner calves it works also because you can adjust how you like. I'm between a 7.5-8, and I always wear a 7. Easy to clean also!

I'm normally an 8.5 size and I ordered an 8 and a 9. I ended up keeping the 9 because if you want to wear warm socks with the boots, they seemed a little narrow. The boots themselves are very thin and so if you're wearing them in cold weather and plan to wear them with socks that aren't thin, I would size up. But Zappos is amazing, especially with next day shipping so you could always exchange. I love the adjustable back so I can wear them with tights or with jeans. The originals had very little room in the calf and I wanted to be able to wear them with any pant. I find them really comfortable and have been wearing them through 14 days of rain. So happy with my purchase!

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I also like the idea of adjustable calf, I do not have wide calves but for those that do, these would be perfect. They are tall and comfortable and I always get compliments on them!

These are great for my large calves. The Huntress was too big in the ankle. I would prefer to have the buckle on the side rather than the back for aesthetic purposes, but it actually serves a purpose at the back of the boot and allows my larger calves into a Hunter boot.

I have had them for a year and a half and they are still impeccable. My husband was horrified at my spending in "two pieces of rubber", but after having spent a lot more on countless cheap pairs of rain boots that do not last a season, I think they are well worth the money. They are comfortable, fit well and I use them both in rain and snow.

Great boot! Look good and fit comfortably. Original hunter is too tall and too tight. Huntress is okay but a bit short. I am not sure if I will be able to get the Hunter socks under these but I did seem to have more room to adjust the buckle so I will have to try it. The blue is a pretty spring color but I wish Zappos had the brighter colors like hot pink.

I love these. With most boots and Fryes, for example, my calves can squeeze in normal boots on a skinny day and other days my calves are just too big. Extended Boots are just too roomy, and I look ridiculous. These boots fit perfectly. The back adjustment is barely needed but nice to have and there is plenty of room for those who do need an extended boot. I love it's in the back because the boot looks slim on the front and sides. These go up high, right under the knee which I love. The footbed is super comfy. I bought a size 9. Regular shoes I can wear a 9-9.5. I wear a 10 running shoe. These fit perfectly. I've used them for rain and snow shoveling. If not wearing warm socks you can get a little cold in snow but on a rainy day they are quite warm. I'd sleep in them if I could. Did I say I love these?

These are perfect for those with a larger calf. Great knee high boot! So happy I found them as the original Hunter boot does not fit my calf.

Great for those who normally need wide calf boots. The sizing is weird though, I normally need a 7 or 7.5 and in Hunter Boots I wear a 6. Love them though!
