Sizes are not accurate! I ordered an 11 and it felt like a 10 or even a 9 and 1/2, they were that small!

I debated on wether I should buy these because of the price for 2 years. Spending so much for one pair of boots I don’t think I was ready. However, I am glad I finally did. Love these shoes! They are so comfortable with or without socks. Not too comfortable to wear for hours at a time. But serves its purpose while looking great. True to size. I bought a size 8. I normally range from 7.5 to 8. These fit perfect. I struggle on finding any boots to fit my calf they are 15” I 5’5 170lbs. Love that I can adjust the size of the calf. These are a little high, they rest just below the bend of my knee. They are a perfect addition to your shoe collection.

I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THESE A LONG TIME AGO! First, thank you Zappos for free and fast shipping! For reference I am 5'6" 150 lbs and have a wider feet and calves. Tall boots are always a challenge for me! When I weighed 115 lbs my calves and wide feet still made tall boots a huge challenge for me. I tend to go for keens and rocket dog for comfort shoes. These are not cheep, I've tried to make due with inexpensive boots for years and always been uncomfortable and finally took the plunge and bought these boots. So happy with them! I pulled on jeans and thick socks, unboxed them and pulled em on and they look and feel fantastic! The foot bed is snug but not tight, the quality allows for flexing at the ankle when you walk and doesn't pinch like the cheap plastic boots I've been trying to wear. Really should have bought these years ago, The price is high, but really, I don't see needing to replace them for years.

I have muscular calves, measuring about 16", along with relatively short legs. These fit, but not very well - they were a bit too tall, hitting mid knee, instead of just below the knee. I love the look, but ultimately returned for the Hunter Huntress boots, which look very similar on, but are a little bit shorter & have a wider calf circumference, which worked better for me. If you have average or long legs, these would be perfect!

Order half size bigger overall love them

My daughter tried on the refined and standard tall Hunter boots before landing the perfect fit with these. She does not have unusually large calves, but too large to even get on the other boot styles. If any doubt, learn from us and measure calves and reference boot circumference. She loves the fit of these and we don't think they look very different from the standard tall. Her shoe size is 8.5-9 and she chose size 9. It is a very good fit with the Hunter fleece boot liner socks. Her big toe (longest on her foot) has 1/2" wiggle room and enough for a pair of socks in addition to the liners. Also, the liners do fit over the gusset in back just fine. Thanks to Zappos for free returns, we finally got it right ;-)

fit as everyone says. Size down for sure. I would also say the wide calf is great. has more give and room for walking.

If you're a half size, don't be afraid to size down. I had to return a bigger pair because of some gapping at the ankle. Great boots. Comfortable and exactly what I expected!

Comfortable, durable and cute!

I know what you are thinking, they are expensive but trust me, just spend the money. No regrets! I have purchased too many tall boots only to send them back or not wear them because they are too small for my calves. Wasting time and money. Thick rubber, true to size. Not much for arch support but not horrible either.

Finally a winner. Perfect for my soccer calves.

Out of the box, these boots are attractive and the photos dont's do them justice. They are made of a soft rubber that has a nice feel. These boots will be great on the right legs, but unfortunately not mine. I happen to have 17" calves and thick ankles. On me, the boots were extremely tight around the calves and I could barely get them off due to the narrower ankle. I did find the footbed comfortable and accomodating to my wide feet. I hope this review will help others, like myself, with a boot dilemma.

Perfect for everything on farm and in the rain??

These are some stylish boots that look cute with anything. I really like the boot socks that can be purchased separately to jazz them up a bit. They don't have much as far as arch support so you may need to add an insert for extra comfort if you will be walking around in these for long

I am an 8.5-9 usually (for reference I always order my Nike running shoes in a 9) but a lot of my other shoes fit in an 8.5...anyways, I ordered these kind of last-minute for a trip to NYC that had a sudden change in forecast that was pretty much monsoon-like. After reading many reviews I ordered the 8, but joke was on me, I am apparently NOT an 8 in Hunters! Both this pair and the Original were too short. I may just be in denial that I am a 9 after my pregnancies, but I really thought I had read enough to order smartly! Hope this helps any of you who are in-between! Thankful for the Zappos quick shipping and easy returning!

I am usually a size 7 and ordered a few other pairs of Hunters before finding that these are the perfect ones for me! My calves are just a little bigger than the standard size, so these allow some nice adjustable options from the back. Zappos has the fastest shipping and best customer service I could ask for! I highly recommend this particular boot if you feel you have a wide calf (even if only a little wide) as the normal Hunters will likely be tight.

I ordered one size down and am happy I did. Great for big calves.
