These were a gift to my adult stepdaughter, who lives in a rainy state. She's very happy with her tall, green Hunter boots, including the fit, the functionality, and the style. She wears an 8 or 8 1/2 shoe. Based on reviews that said the boots run a little large, I went with the 8, and it turned out to be the right decision.

Fantastic color. It is a deeper green than the "hunter green". The hunter green tends more toward a kelly green and these are a deep rich color. Very nice. True to size and fit nicely with Hunter socks.

Love these! I'm sorry I waited so long to purchase them as they are perfect for the rainy/snowy weather we have been having lately. They fit perfectly!

The buckles are don’t stay down but love the boots!

I am between a 6.5-7, and initially ordered a 7 which were huge! I exchanged for a size 6 and they fit perfect. I bought them on sale on Black Friday and couldn't be happier!

The shoes totally fit, but they definitely do run a little large. I am normally a 7.5 in shoes, and ordered a 7 and with socks they are a little loose. But better than being too small! I'll be keeping them. The dark olive color is fabulous!

I wear there everywhere!

Fit well. Comfortable. Not lined so I also purchased the Hunter boot socks.

Great color and quality as always with Hunter boots. Had to return for a larger size since these would not fit the gift recipient while wearing thick winter socks.

ordered these tall red hunter wellies in my normal size...they're much too large, even if wearing socks or adding a liner. So i'm exchanging for at least half a size smaller.

I have athletic calves and these were roomy enough! Loved the color and wore them all over Alaska on vacay! You cannot go wrong with Hunter boots! And Zappos is the best customer service EVER!

I typically wear a 9 in women's shoes; I ordered an 8 in these and they fit perfectly. They are a bit stiff at first but break in very quickly. They kept my feet both warm and dry while I was filming outside for 3 days in northern Michigan. I will say, that if you're not very tall, these boots will likely hit high up on your knee. I'm 5'8" and these boots hit just below my knee. If I was any shorter, they would probably hit my knee.

I typically wear a 8.5 so I got a 9. It will be perfect and even a little room to add the liner sock things. My only issue with them is I have ...lets say Athletic calves. With these boots there was a ton of room in the ankles but then about the time they started to hit my calf they got tighter and by the top they weren't tight tight but were snug up to my leg. Didn't really like the feeling so I returned them I may try the shorter ones instead. They were so cute though!

This fit great. I bought a size 6. Measured on the outside of the boot, there is a 15 1/4" circumference at the top of the boot. This is much roomier than most boots. A normal tall boot opening is about 14" on a size 6. If your calf is thin, there will be a lot of room in the calf. I wore these to a very muddy sports event and stayed warm and DRY! Foot opening is also pretty generous and doesn't press down on the top of your foot. I'm very happy with my purchase.

These are beautiful boots. I purchased the olive color, and it is a dark green - almost black. I'm petite and average legs, and they fit perfectly. The packaging is nice, and they seem very durable. Now I get excited every time rain is in the forecast!

These were a replacement for my first Hunters which only lasted five years unfortunately. The old ones began to crack around the footbed and one of the buckles broke away from the boot. I'm bummed they didn't last longer because I took good care of them. But here I am, with my second pair. Hopefully they'll be more evolved than the last ones. I love the ease of stepping into these, the love the fabric liner that never makes the boots feel sticky, even when worn with bare feet from time to time. They're warmer than you'd think in the winter. I just add two socks and they're as warm as any winter boots, and with good traction. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear these. Even people who don't know the Hunter logo seem to like the style. For those who are wondering about the fit, I wear a 9.5 and in this boot I got a 9 and they're perfect.

This is my first pair of Hunter boots so I was hesitant it about which size would fit me better, I’m a true 6.5 size in regular shoes so according to the reviews I should get a 1/5 size smaller so I got a size 6 and I glad I did it! I have a average width feet, not to wid3 not to narrow and I feel these boots a little wide which is good because I can wear them with a tick socks for a perfect fit. I have been wearing them for a total of 7 days ( is have been raining here in California the past several weeks ) for a period of 4-5 hours and they are super comfortable! I read someone saying that they are kind of heavy but I don’t feel them heavy at all! I bought them in a silver color which is not to bright and looks elegant and classy! I’m 5.4 and they are a couple of inches under my knees.

I wear 7 in all shoes except uggs I wear 6. Ordered a 7 and they were too big. Walked around in my apartment and they were going up and down on my heels even with thick socks. I exchanged for a 6 and they are perfect with thick socks. The reviews are mixed some say to order size you normally wear and some say to order a size down. I recommend a size down.

It’s sad that the quality has changed since they started making them in China. Didn’t stop me from purchasing two short boots, black and military red. Oh, as well as the yellow, tall boots I have just ordered. They still are classy and amazingly comfortable, and sexy. I’m hoping that they fit over my muscular calves with skinny jeans or leggings. I haven’t had a yellow pair since I was a teenager. Thank you, Zappos! I love you guys. Best customer support staff, EVER! :)

I did a lot of research before ordering the hunter boots, I’m a solid 6.5 size so I ordered the size 6 and even the boots doesn’t feel too big I still have some room to wear this boots with a thick socks. I’m 5.4 and the boots reach about a 1.5 inches below my knees so they are pretty comfortable to walk with and they have just the right width to wear jeans inside the boots. I ordered mine in silver color and they look super stylish! And of course ZAPPOS costumer service is THE BEST!
