I've been skating for about ten years or so now, and after quitting for a time and getting older I really try to stick with Vans when I skate. I mean I only buy vans to skate in and nothing else. Each time I branch out to another brand, I feel like it takes too much "getting used to" or breaking in time - when all I want to do is just skate at the same level. These pro models allow me to do just that. I have a wide foot and usually get a half size bigger in Vans, but NOT with these. These Old Skool Pro's are wide for vans, but are a PERFECT fit for me - someone who has always had to buy a size up so I wouldn't tear into my pinky toe. Definitely buy a smaller size if you are used to purchasing the same size Vans all the time. For me they're perfect.

The pictures are very misleading, the shoes I received look like black on black on black, there is no contrast between the upper and the toe and heel cap as it appears on the site. Very disappointed and will be returning.

They are a nice looking shoe. I didn't realize there is absolutely no arch support with Vans. Since I need some arch support I returned them.

A good looking shoe, but terrible fit: the laces kept creeping tighter at the toes and the heel cup chewed up my foot.

Everything I have ever bought from Zappos has been too narrow. I dont understand it. I've never had to wear shoes wider than normal.

They fit a little large for 9.5 but they are still somewhat comfy. My main issues with them is the rough decorative stitching on the inside of the shoe that rubs the side of my foot while walking. Also the tongue on the left shoe was not sewn in straight so when you wear the shoes it slides to the side and kind of bunches up inside the shoe. I love how they look but not very good for the eight miles I walk every while working.

Love the look of these shoes, so I’m bummed they didn’t work out. They are way too narrow for my feet, and I’ve always worn standard width shoes so that’s a bit disappointing. Also, these are nowhere close to as comfortable as Nikes I have worn the past couple years.

I loved these shoes for the first couple of months. Then they started to fall apart at the botton of the soles and where the rubber meets the canvas on the sides and front of the toe box. These are just normal shoes as I don't skate and I use a different brand for mountain biking. I will not be buying Vans again unless I find out they make durable shoes again as paying over $71 for a few months of use is B.S.

Compared to my other shoes used for skating, these aren't very comfortable. The toe cap is not cushioned, and after wearing these shoes once, I had a blister on the top of my foot. They look good, but I wouldn't recommend them for skating, or even walking reasonable distances. The heel is cushioned, and comfortable, but the design of the toe box needs work.

have been wearing vans old school shoes for 25+ years. tried these because i thought it would be nice to see what vans is up to now. i didn't like them at all. they hurt my feet as soon as i put them on and i upsized my usual 10.5 to 11. still too small. smashed my toes together. the insole is so thick that my heel rubs in a strange place. luckily zappos has a great return/exchange policy. had an excellent conversation with the zappos guy in vegas today. shoes going back next ups business day. still love my old broken in vans but can't risk messing my feet up with these. cheers zappos

These shoes are very cute, I love the way they look with sporty outfits. They feel true to size, but I am still breaking them in so I cannot yet vouch for comfort. Right now they are fine if I wear them with thick socks, hopefully by spring they will be soft enough I can wear them with sock liners without blisters.

This shoe has a lot going for it, but all of that is thrown right out the window with the heel. It's like they completely forgot to add any sort of padding to it! It's rough and irritating. I only wore them around the house for about an hour and could already tell the rubbing would end in a blister if I wore them all day. Sending them back for sure.

These gave me such terrible blisters. I wore them 3 times to try to push through and break them in but they were so bad. I love the way they look so I’m very sad.

Saw these in leopard print and fell in love but unfortunately they were not for me. These are truly the fit of a mans shoe, so I would not recommend them for women at all. They were very wide and felt a half size too large as if I was wearing a pair of clown shoes.

I had never bought Vans before, but was attracted by the photo. The heel padding was less than appeared on the photo, and it just has a cheaper look that I thought it would. The bottom of the shoe is very inflexible, and it was looking like it would take a very long time to "break in" and I was just disappointed. I will be returning these and going back to Nikes.

Unfortunately, Vans doesn't have the comfort they had 10 years ago. Cushion in the heel, but not much at all in the front of the shoe by the ball of the foot and the toes. Big disappointment.

Too small compared to original. Inside liner is a soft cloth material that is weird as well. Stick to the originals; pros are worse in every way.

Ordered a men's size 10. It looked/fit like an 8.

I only received 1 shoe in the box, and the wrong shoe to top it off. All is well and worked out. I have a new pair coming. QC needs a little work though. Thanks for your great customer service.

Love these shoes, comfy and durable, still have them in 2024!

These vans are my favorite and most comfortable, I will be purchasing more soon!

One of my go to sneakers. Vans Old Skool Pros are always a good choice and highly recommended.
