These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and are very cozy. The style, especially the toe area, is very boxy, more like a clog like others have said. Not sure if they are quirky cute or just ugly, but I'm keeping them. Love shopping with Zappos!

I wanted to keep these but the straps are too loose even though the length fits. Soles are extremely supportive. Will have to look for some without straps. As usual, Zappos has the BEST customer service. I don't buy shoes anywhere else.

Very cute style and comfy insole with somewhat of an arch support - not as distinctive as many other Aetrex styles. The toe box of this shoe is quite wide - almost too wide for me, and I always appreciate extra width for my medium/wide size. Sadly, the rough edge of the soft leather landed right on a painful bone below the big toe - just can't tolerate this. Plus, the extra leather sewn to the backstrap has scratchy edges or stitching that immediately annoyed me. Maybe my feet are extra sensitive bc I've been wearig sandals for many months, but I think a comfort brand, as Aetrex is, should go the extra mile and consider ALL potential issues that could impact a needy foot. Pretty disappointed in this shoe, Aetrex.

I have to face it, my feet are shaped like a duck's... wide toe and narrow heel. I got this shoe along with 4 other hopefuls that, for one reason or another, did not fit. The Aetrex came VERY close to being the shoe of my dream. However, the arch support on the right shoe felt like it was too close to the heel and it was uncomfortable. The left shoe fit correctly. So, I ordered another pair in the same size (8) and it fit the same way. I have come to the conclusion that my right foot is probably bigger than my left. I just ordered a size 8.5 to see if that fixes the problem. If it is too big I will cry, but probably keep them anyway. The toe box is wide enough to accommodate the splay of toes and the strap has enough velcro to tighten the shoe as much as my heart desires. I am not that crazy about they style, but my family all think they are cute. The insole has more cushioning than any other shoe I have ever tried on. I can't wait until tomorrow when the larger shoe arrives! Keeping my fingers crossed! Thank you, Zappos for your great service!

This is a lovely shoe. It is very attractive. It is extremely comfortable. However, the velcro tabs on both shoes came unstitched almost immediately. I called Aetrex, thinking with paying 100 plus dollars this wasn't right. The voicemail answered and there was no response to message. I ended up paying a shoe repair to re stitch successfully and never had an issue after. My feeling though however, is 100 dollar plus shoes shouldn't have this sort of issue and lack of response. The shoes are lovely though.

Cute, but the toe has a upward turn that reminds me of a clown shoe. They seem very comfortable, but just not as cute on my foot.

Very comfy shoe bed with nice leather (although quite thin) upper. These remind me of the old "Earth shoes" with the wider toe area. They are good for a more dressy look that is comfortable.

These shoes are very comfortable, except the top rubbed on one of my feet. I'm disappointed that I will have to return them. They are well made and cute.

This is my first time trying Aetrex. The shoe is quite comfortable and soft except for the fact that the size 9 is a bit short for me even though it is my size. The shoe is really soft but I will be returning it for a 9 1/2 and see if that works.

Toe box too tight for my long toes but a larger size would have been too big, so returning. Fairly cute for a pretty clunky shoe and graphite color was nice

Clunky look, wide footbed. Velcro strap is not a strong enough fastener. Very light and very comfortable. Not my favorites but a useful change off pace as a casual supportive Saturday errand day shoe

Granola but pillow soft comfort! I hated the looks when I bought them in midsummer. Good thing I was too busy to return them even though that process is easy. They looked great today with the fall dress I pulled out of the back of the closet. Goodbye, summer, hello awesome hippie comfort shoes! They are not elegant. But light, quiet, and great to walk in or stand in. Channel your little Dutch girl clog wearing self and try them.

This is a very comfortable shoe, and the graphite color is a nice neutral to go with black, grey and khaki colors. But when I put them on, they just looked too clunky looking for my taste. I should have known that from the picture. I am a small slim woman, so maybe these would look good on a taller, bigger woman. I think it's the idea of the leather upper going all the way to the sole that makes them look funky.

These are good comfortable shoes especially for someone who does not like closed toe shoes, but has to have them! The color is neutral enough to go with several of my outfits, which is always a plus. They are a good bargain and provide good support. They started out slightly tight over my toes (height).

Loved the look of these shoes. Slid around in my normal size and toes hit front of shoe. Only way to remedy was by tightening Velcro strap very tight at ankle. Decided it wasn't perfect so returned them. However, lovely leather in graphite--color and stamping super-pretty. Glad to have discovered this brand.

These are nice shoes. They fit a little small. They did not feel good on me. I ordered a 7 because there were no half sizes. I normally wear a 7½. The height of the toe area is a little short. There is too much arch support for me.

The right toe-box was too small. Otherwise loved the look.

This shoe runs wide. If you have a skinny, more narrow foot, this is not the shoe for you. It fit wide across the top of the foot and when walking, it had a large gap. If your feet need room in the toe box, this shoe would be more suited for you. The toe box area looked disproportionate to the rest of the shoe. .

The support was great but the Velcro closure did not stay and loosened over time. So bummed!!

I was so disappointed that this beautiful, well-made shoe just did not suit my foot. I will try a larger size because it really is a cute shoe.

For a B width shoe this was very wide, and it felt shorter in length. I usually order a size 10 in a sandal type shoe which gives me plenty of heel length without any heel hangover. In this shoe my heel came to the edge and felt more like a size 9.

This shoe is perfect, except for an extremely high arch. If you don't have a super high arch, do not buy these shoes. It feels like I'm walking on a pipe under my arch, so i have to return and try again. The style is amazing and everything else about the shoe is amazing! So, if you need high arch support? Best shoe ever. If you don't? Not a great shoe.

Foot felt fabulous in the shoes, except that I felt it was ran a little short. So I think I need the 1/2 size up. Returning for a different size. My goal was a shoe that I could walk all day at a conference, and not wear my sneakers. I think it will work well.
