I also agree with the other 608 review on the site. I have bought new balance shoes for years and the last few pairs I purchased didn't stand up for very long. The last pair only made it 57 days before the souls let go and the dirt could just run on in. Must now research another shoe.

I have worn and enjoyed the 608 New Balance shoes for years and the quality has diminished. The last 3 pairs have had issues. Two of the all leather pairs were bought together and didn't catch as much wear as the previous three pairs, the sole came loose on the white ones and the seams started coming apart on the black ones. I replaced them with a 608v4, not worth the effort, less support, laces that are made for shoes twice their size and not as good a fit anywhere on the foot. They now have a former customer that used to not even look at the competition to a buyer that will never consider the brand again.

After reading the great reviews on these shoes, It helped make my decision on what I thought were going to be the best purchase ever but not so much. I need comfortable shoes for my job in a doctor's office. Going home with tired and sore feet makes for bad day. These shoes are not comfortable at all. I hate that I paid all that money for good shoes only to be let down and now stuck with them.

Very disappointed. Minimal options on size. Where is the 2E that I have ordered in the past. And where is the 11.5 size.

After wearing this shoe for years now, I went to the carnival store & bought another pair. They were so tight on my toes! I`m thinking,,, ok, i`m over 50. My feet cant have grown anymore!! I already wear an 11! So I try on a 12. Its better, but not great at all. My feet are slipping all over in them. They are flopping off my heels. And they are the most uncomfortable pair I've ever had! The girl at the store said that it was probably because you guys were using a new manufacturer. Bad Idea! Why do you big companies shoot yourselves in the foot, when you had a good thing going?! Well you can save a few pennies in the manufacturing, but I don't know if it will make up for all the business your going to lose when people stop buying your products.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought! And to make matters worst, "World Famous Footwear" would not take them back because I wore them 6 days, would never buy shoes there again! Can I please get my money back? Or at least exchange them for the old nonnon "memory foamed" insoles?!

I have been buying New Balance shoes for 30 years. I will probably be finding a new product. The fit is not the same as in years past. I cannot find the right size. I usually get 609's or 608's. My current purchase was the 608 style. I don't know if they even make the 609's anymore. They had the best fit and comfort!

I had bought this shoe previously and loved it. However the two pair I just bought ran small. Pinched toes are no fun so I'm returning both pairs.
