Good shoe at a reasonable price. For me, NB shoes are always a half size short- so I’ve learned to order up. These shoes are light weight but provide good support to locate the foot side to side. It’s a good walking/working shoe for me.

After buying and returning 3 pairs of athletic shoes, I finally found these New Balance shoes that I have owned before. Because I had ordered a different New Balance shoe and returned it because the wide width was not wide, I ordered these in 4E. I am happy to say that these are wide enough (I actually need some heavier socks to wear with them). There is plenty of room in the toebox. I have foot issues, lots of them. Flat, wide, long, lots of pain and problems. So far, these are doing what I need them to do. My orthotics fit, no problem. They don't squeak, much. For now, I am satisfied with these shoes. I hope they last the winter!

Because of recent experiences with purchasing and returning, I ordered them in the 4E for my wide feet. Finally, I got a pair of shoes that are wide enough, in fact, they are almost too wide, but I am keeping them! They are a bulky shoe, but they are wide enough, long enough, and don't squeak. They'll last me a while.

Just a little snugger than I like. I bought New Balance two years ago --exact same size--pretty much the same style---they weren't so snug. I like the shoes. They are OK for the amount of walking I do --- 2-3 miles a day. It's just that I'm kind of old and fussy.

Despite the fact that they have no real arch support these are one of the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes I've ever owned. The memory foam insert is very comfortable when new, but it wore out quickly and I replaced them after about 6 months of use for some that had much better arch support. I like the shoes enough that I plan to purchase a second pair.

I originally bought a size 15 of a model 623, but when they arrived, they were way too small. There were no 15.5s or 16s available in that model, so I grabbed these in size 16, thinking that they would also run small. Well, I was right. I've worn a 15 for decades, but a 15 would have been too small. And this size 16 is actually a tad large (no half size available). But the toe box on these is narrower than on the 623, so the added length is necessary if I don't want my big toe tight up against the side of the toe box. I've had a few workouts with these so far and they are fine. Comfortable and lightweight, good materials and necessary breathing vents. Time will tell, but for now, I'm satisfied. I just wish I didn't keep having to send shoes back when I order my actual size. Fortunately, Zappos makes it easy to return selections and eventually get what you want.

Not as wide as I had hoped. Not worth returning... the leather will stretch after wearing awhile.

Overall I was satisfied with this shoe, though the interior lining does peel with time.

Great work shoes for a mechanic. The leather type material protects the foot from spills and they hold up even after 6 months of daily wear.

I have worn my pair daily fo more than a year.

My husband is happy with these shoes, oddly, he said that the lite grey color fits him better than the dark blue.

These shoes run small. Make sure to size up!

Great shoes. I normally wear 13 EEEE. Too small. Wisely ordered 14 EEEE at the same time and they fit great.

These New Balance were a perfect fit for a job that needed black shoes.Flexible and comfortable yet neat enough looking for a semi-formal job site.

These were for my husband and he loved them. Said fit was true to size. Good arch support and very comfortable. He wears them just about everyday to work.

These are really nice looking shoes. My husband got the white with black tongue and black laces. There is only one problem and is the reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5. My husband complained that the shoelaces are thin and flimsy. That are not the oval puffy type. They are flat and skinny. Expect to have to buy different laces with these shoes.

The shoes look good and feel like the right length and width, but it didn't feel comfortable on the balls of my feet. The removable shoe insert seems like a good idea but it didn't quite fit, arching upward slightly. I had to return these.

They run small. Very light and comfortable. Not the most cool looking shoes.

This NB athletic shoe was nice for the price but was not true to size. It was too short (needed at least one size higher) and had a narrow toe box even though it was 4E width. Several comments recently on Zappos have indicated that NB athletic shoes have been running smaller than expected, especially the lesser-priced models. I too have noticed this difference between recent NB purchase and those I made years ago. I have been wearing NB for many years and I do notice the difference in sizing.

Toe box too small.

The toe box is very small. I purchased a 13EE which is my usual NB size but for this shoe, the front or toe box was so small that it actually hurt my feet. Rare for me and NB. Other than that, nice shoe for those who can handle a narrow toe box.
