I always wear at 10B in New Balance sneakers without any problems. The toe box seemed snug because my big toe of my left foot hit the front of the shoe. Like the lightness and the style but unfortunately will be returning them.

I ordered 1/2 size larger in this shoe and my big toes still touched the end of the shoe. The cushioning around the collar and tongue was good but the arch support was not there for me, so back they go.

These are great shoes, but they fit differently than the ones (the same shoe) I purchased before. The place just behind the toes is not the same as my trusty older shoes. And the bend behind the toes is not the same as well. I must return them.

While this shoe is very comfortable and offers good toe room, the Size 11 in gray is longer than is the Size 11 in Black. I have had this problem before with New Balance shoes. I guess I have to order colors other than black in a smaller size?

I tried on this model in a local athletic shoe store and knew immediately it was not exactly the same as the one it replaced (original was just WW847). I love the original 847 so much that I ordered from Zappos but it was time to get another pair. Sadly, this new version or replacement for the 847 does not cut it. The deal killer for me was that New Balance has removed the cut out notch on the back of the heal which makes it easier to slip in your foot, especially with inserts. Over time, this new un-notched, round heal version will collapse down making it difficult to slip in the foot and eventually causing the fabric to start tearing along the interior back of the heel. Thankfully, I found another site that still has the WW847 even though it's discontinued. I would have purchased it again from Zappos if it was available. What I love about this style, even the new version, is that it comes in a 2E width and is built around a Shoe Last-2! ( Last: *SL-2 Features a narrow heel width, high instep arch, deep toe box and wide forefoot) Plus, it has the leather over the top of the foot. I can't purchase athletic shoes with the mesh over the top of the shoe because in no time at all, my big toe will be poking holes out of both shoes.

Wish I could get New Balance to bring back the original 847 (not the v2 version)

I was so disappointed to find these shoes too small! I find New Balance shoe sizing varies from model to model. It makes it difficult to order never being sure.

These shoes are definitely smaller than the New Balances that I have had in the past. My toes were jammed right to the end in the 8½ that I would normally wear. Therefore, it was hard to tell if they would really be as comfortable as other people have indicated. Generally, I love New Balance. I was looking for a new pair because my feet were sore, and my current pair appear to be worn out. I don't think that I will get these in a larger size because they were somewhat clunky and I am not really sure if I should order half or a full size larger.

Recently I've had to start wearing an orthotic brace so I've had to look for wider shoes usually a little bigger than what I normally would buy. My feet normally swim in New Balance shoes, so I figured buying a 1/2 size up and extra wide would provide me with enough room for the brace. Instead I found that these shoes run much smaller than most New Balance shoes. Even without the brace my toes were touching the tips of the shoe (even at a 1/2 size larger than normal). I also found that the width was narrower than normal, fitting snugly against the sides of my feet. Like I said, New Balance shoes are normally way too big for me. I was sorry to have to return them. Otherwise, they were nicely built and comfortable, but if you need a true extra wide shoe this may not work. Also, I'd recommend going up a full size to ensure they fit.

I am so disappointed in this shoe. I have worn this style of New Balance for over 15 years, and have been able to wear each new update. I have an AFO brace on my left food and a custom orthotic on my right. Now, this shoe does not work. The footbed is tapered and I need round. There is no dip in the back of the heel where I can pull it on. The stuffing is really thick. I think this shoe would work fine for someone who does not need to add all of the appliances that I do. It would probably be great. However, I had to return these due to my unusual show requirements. Still looking.

As a long time fan of New Balance shoes, I was disappointed in this one. Very plastic looking and uncomfortable. Very stiff and so unlike former NB shoes that were comfortable from the first fitting.

I ordered my normal NB size and happily put on these shoes and went out for my normal brisk walk. Thought the shoes were a bit tight but figured that perhaps my feet were a bit swollen and that all would be well. But after wearing them for over a week, I am afraid that they are TOO short and TOO narrow to be my go to walking shoe. This has NEVER happened to me before with a NB shoe. Can't return as I have worn them for over a week now and boxes long gone. Very disappointed and feeling like I wasted a lot of money.

It looks better online than it does. Do not like the dark gray color - gives it a dirty look.

This shoe fits okay, but is so stiff and inflexible. I feel like I have heavy and very uncomfortable sneakers on. They have made my long walks tedious due to the weight on my foot. Not at all happy with this sneaker!

I was disappointed that the liner inside the shoe became unglued and wrinkled after only about 5-10 wearings.

These New Balance WW847v2 in white with light blue accents, W10.5, were very small, felt like a W9 on my truly 10.5 size feet. didn't like the way they looked in person, too much of an old/walker style for me, so not trying to size up. Returning.

I have been looking for a cross training shoe, although my cardio is mostly walking. This shoe runs small. I wear a 9.5 and my toe touches the top. Returning.

I have been buying New Balance for years. This is the first time that I had to go up a half size larger. This shoe is cut a half size to small.

I question why I even tried New Balance again. Over the past few years, their shoes have been made so cheaply with shoddy construction. The main reason I am returning these is they completely lack support. I expect a whole lot more for $125. In addition, the profile is so big that the shoes look like you are wearing the boxes. The only positive thing I can say about the shoe that it comfortably fits a very wide foot.

I expected bright, cheerful and fun shoes. The gray is dull and dirty looking and the pink is faded. They are extremely comfortable and supportive.

this pair of shoes is a type that I have ordered several times. Something about them has made them impossible to wear. They are so tight that they hurt my feet. I can only think that there was an imperfection in the construction of this pair. I would like to return them for credit towards another pair of the New Balance sneakers. They are sent back with that in mind. Thanl you for your assistance.

Very dissatisfied with the poor quality of these sneakers, it looks like they were made from plastic. They look cheap, feel stiff, the heel is shallow, and the fit is unconfortable. I will return these.

This is my first pair of New Balance shoes. I've always been a size 9 with Nike, but Nike no longer makes the walking shoes I have been buying for years. The New Balance shoe was too small, with my big toe hitting both the front and the side of the shoe.

Always loves the NB 847, have been wearing it for 7 years since my foot surgery. Well, as always happens, the company changed the style and it is now an ugly shoe. The tongue padding is so overdone, and the general design is not flattering at all. So, they are going back.

The problem is only with the toe area. My toes were tight against the front of the shoe. I went up a half size narrow because 7m had my heel loose but my toes tight. with the 71/2 N everything was comfortable but the toe area was still tight or my toes were cramped against the front. when I put my hand underneath that area, I found extra material in the toe area! No wonder it doesn't fit. New Balance needs to address that problem. I have another NB sneaker that fits perfectly at 7M so this doesn't make sense. I returned both sizes. the one star is just because there is a defect in the toe fitting.

Unfortunately, New Balance has changed the way they make this shoe. My old pair had a much wider toe box, which I need for my bunions. This shoe is much narrower.
