Extremely comfortably shoe from the minute I tried them on and starting walking. I have foot problems due to medical issues and this is one shoe I will definitely reorder again!

The added cushioning in the heel makes v2 of this shoe run a whole size smaller for me. My usual 8.5 is now a 9.5 in version 2. Please try them on before purchasing!

Comfortable right out of the box. I am a 9.5W and these are absolutely true to size. Tried to find an athletic shoe other than New Balance (which I have worn for years) but I guess I don't have "cheap feet". They're happiest in NB's.

My feet are so bad from 92 years of walking, plus neuropathy, no shoe will ever make them feel really good. However, these come close. They really are more comfortable than any others I've ever tried, and I have closets full. I did have to order half a size longer, to accommodate my orthotics, And, I would love to have more color choices. But they do feel as wonderful as my feet are ever likely to feel--so, thank you for that!

I bought this shoe because I wanted an alternate shoe for the NB 928. This has a similar rollbar to keep my feet from overpronating. It is very comfortable and supportive. I bought my usual size 8.5 with a WIDE width. I think that they may run a bi narrower than the 928.. I bought both colors. Would recommend them. I splurged and bought the gray/pink and the white/blue.

run very short! I usually wear a 10, but in New Balance a 10.5. But in this shoe I will require an 11.

sizing seemed a bite small

Nice comfy shoe, but runs too narrow for my foot.

I can wear mine without socks. They are too short to wear with sport socks.

These are good walking sneakers however due to the sizing I returned. Seem to run 1/2 size smaller. My big toe on one shoe kept hitting the end and decided this would become an issue. Usually any NB shoes fit consistently. Design good, lightweight, wide toe box, recommend just consider above info especially if you have long toes :-)

Love this shoe--have been wearing earlier versions for years. Great support. However, I wear size 7. Last year I had to return for 7 1/2. Suddenly, it runs small. Just received new 7 1/2, and it's too snug! Placed next to last year's version, it's visibly shorter. Will have to send back and order size 8!

Very stylish and comfortable, but narrower. Ive had to order the next size up. The toebox is much more narrow than the 928, which is my all time favorite shoe. I'm still hoping the next size up will work for me.

Works well with my need for a very wide toe box. Recommended by my podiatrist. I like the black color, since I use them for walking around our ranch doing chores.

Nice shoes but felt a full size too short.

I am hard to fit and even harder to please. These shoes were not as comfortable as I would like, but they are better than most that I have tried.

I bought these shoes to wear for work. They are comfortable and fit my custom orthotics without having to buy a bigger size than I normally purchase. The only negative is that they have started to make "creaking" noises when I walk after about 2 weeks of wear. Not sure if that is going to go away.

I purchased a pair in size 6 1/2 D for tennis and walking. I think they feel true to size. I have always appreciated the extra width available with new balance shoes. I was hoping for a brighter color, but comfort trumps fashion with my feet! I use orthotic inserts and they fit in easily. I wore the shoes the day they arrived and walked 10,000 steps. My feet felt great, no blisters or sore areas to break in!

Will need to reorder a half size larger. I've worn this size of New Balance for a long time, but now it is too short.

I wear 9 or 9.5 WW (2E) in athletic shoes. New Balance has the best selection in my size. I bought these as they were one of the few that fit my foot. I also have to be careful of side panels in the toe area as I have bunions. These shoes were comfortable when I tried them on initially. When I walked in them, the bottom of my feet hurt after 2 miles. I feel there is not enough cushioning in the footbed. I would not order this style again.

This shoe runs about a half-size small. I am usually a 9 wide and had to return them for a 9.5 wide. The shoe isnt as soft as I had hoped on the top--its more stiff. The support is good on the bottom.

The new version is a little smaller all around. Still, I like that there was still space in the toebox so my toes aren't cramped and I can stretch them a bit while in the shoe. I wear these with my Powerstep Wide Widths insoles comfortably.

This shoe is extremely pretty, but runs super small.

This is my second pair of NB 847s but the sizing seems to have changed since my first pair many years ago. I usually wear an 11N but had to go up to 12N. They are a great shoe, very sturdy with good motion and roomy toe box. I would like a bit more arch support.

A new design since my original purchase of this shoe. Has a padded heel which pushed my feet deeper into the shoe and my big toe hit the front. Highly recommend ordering at least a half size up from normal size. Since my shoe did not fit and Zappos is out of the next size up, I do not know if the padding flattens out eventually! Would be nice if another reviewer could let us know! Otherwise these shoes have saved my feet!!! I work as a retail manager, 8-9 hours on my feet, I couldn't do it with out these!

I ordered a 13 narrow, and I will be returning it. It is a good looking shoe and made well. It felt short, but the width was correct.
