This is the 3rd pair of these sneakers we have bought for my son. He's almost 7 yrs old, has wide feet & he's picky about his shoes; look & feel. These are comfortable and they last. The bottoms wear a little quickly but not enough to have to get a new pair before he's grown out of them. They're flexible, light & breathable. Very happy with this sneaker.

Great shoes. True to size. I've been buying (& re-buying) these shoes for my son each time he grows out of the last one. His feet are a tiny bit wide and these always fit perfectly. They hold up very well too!

Great shoes! My 4 year old loves them. This is the second pair we've gotten of the same shoes. His feet run a little wide and they fit him well.

These are great shoes for kids. I have bought this brand over and over since my child starting walking. I highly recommend them for durability, wash ability and comfort. Great for kids with wide feet or a high top of their feet.

We had a smaller size of the same shoe. They wore so well and machine washed with no problems, looking like new. These are excellent shoes! Love the style and color.

My son had these shoes as his main athletic shoes until he grew out of them. He had the bright lime colored ones. They fit him well, and he loved the bright color. My son has autism and classic growth hormone failure. I think that what he loved most about these shoes is that, while they still are officially velcro for the closure, the "fake" laces make them look a little bit more big boyish. (At 7-8 years old, he has, overall, been the size of a 4-5 y/o.) I tried to buy another pair for my son, after he had a growth spurt, but the size I ordered was too big. I may try to order the same shoe in a smaller size, or a shoe that is similar. (Velcro and "fake" laces").

I absolutely love these shoes for my two girls (five and six)! School has a very strict uniform requirement for shoes and these are comfortable, fast, and look super cute. I just wish they were listed under "girls' shoes" as well.

I've bought these shoes several times. My experience with size mirrors what other reviewers have said: order a 1/2 size smaller than usual. That's not a criticism, though. My son finds these very comfortable, and they hold up well.

My seven year old is dictating this: "I think these shoes are really great because they are big and you still can have straps. Also the tongue is a bit uncomfortable at first."

We love this shoe, in fact this is our second pair. The reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because they do stretch out a little bit in width. The support is good, but I swapped the footbeds for better ones although it's not necessary. It's just something I started doing. They wash beautifully and wear well. My son might be hard on them, not sure. The tongue and interior wore holes in them and the front tap on the toe came a little unglued. Still a pretty good shoe, but not great for a narrow foot. One of my son's is a wide and this shoe is better for him. I bought a different shoe for my son that had a normal width foot.

These are nice shoes and are holding up well to hard use by a five year old. The only complaint with this shoe is that as my son has worn them for a couple months they seem to have gotten wider or stretched out and are now too wide for his feet.

Not holding up after a month of wear. Soles coming apart from the rest of the show. Really disappointed in the quality for this price. These used to be made really well :(

This is the third pair of Tsukihoshi shoes we’ve bought for our now four year old. The last two have lasted him until he’s grown out of them, which took a couple of years. This pair has lasted around six months and they are now falling apart. I understand that he’s getting tougher on shoes as he gets older. But if I spend this much on a pair of shoes, I would hope that they would last at least one school-year. Especially when the brand has such a reputation for quality.

My family and I are big fans of the Tsukihoshi brand shoes for our active 5-yr-old son. Great design and they fit our son's foot really well. Our one - major - issue is that every pair we've ordered (totaling about 6 or 7 over the past few years) has started falling apart within a month. Whether it's the rubber tip at the toe peeling off, or the velcro peeling off - it seems that these shoes are not designed for an active child. (The shoes we ordered a month ago are already falling apart.) At their price point, we expect more endurance from this brand. So as much as we'd like to continue ordering these shoes for our son, I think this will be our last pair. Just not worth it.

We have had many pairs of tsukihoshi that were terrific. We tried a new style and it has not held up well.

Run small. We're very tight on my son.

Love the look & the fit! However, my sons socks are a bit damp after having them on a few hours. Because of that I wouldn't buy them again.

Super cute shoes. My 7 year old son loves them. But after less than a month of wear (and not wearing them daily, either) the writing on the Velcro strap is fading, making them look worn and old. For this price point, I expect more.

Falling apart after 2 months. These are not the same quality as they used to be.

Purchased for my grandson with high hopes. Didn't even last 2 months. Falling apart. I figured if I payed a bit more the quality would be there. I was very wrong. Would not buy this brand again. Its a shame that this type of quality is sold on Zappos. Thanks..

These looked great, but started falling apart on first wear. he sole was literally coming off in sections. Zappos took them back.

Loved these normally, not this set. The entire strap separated from the velcro. Not sure if manufacturer changed but these are horrible! DO NOT BUY!
