I can't really speak to the details of true to width or arch support that this review forces. However, my grandson has had three pair of these shoes and loves them. He is hard on them and they show wear but the ones we have had are tough, not damage-prone as some of the reviews found. His foot is a little wide and these fit him well. They are also good looking.

My son loves these. They are very sturdy and he can run fast in them. Excellent quality brand.

My son chose these shoes and he thinks they look awesome. We got the red and they are a great shade. They are too big, but that's ok, he can grow into them. For now, he's just wearing them around the house.

The shoe was really cute but my son has wide feet and these weren’t wide enough. My oldest son had had a couple pairs of the Kas and those are very wide so I was hoping these would be too.

Very durable shoes. My 4 year old son loves them. Seems to be putting these on more frequently than his old pair (different brand). Suspect these are more comfortable.

Great shoe. Durable, comfortable, and give good support even for very active kids. Sizing can be inconsistent so I usually have to order multiple pairs and return those that don't fit. But they're currently the only pair I'll buy my two guys.

This brand runs big. We had been sized for it in a boutique shop but they didn’t have the color he wanted so we ordered online. My son loves the red and says they feel great and fast!

Great shoe. My son wears Tsukihoshi at the recommendation of physical therapy to accommodate orthotics. He has been in the same size but I believe the makko style and has worn out his shoes after a semester of daily wear instead of outgrowing them. These fit the same as the other style and perhaps feel a bit stiffer toward the ankle (a plus for orthotics). He chose the red/grey and mom is pleased!

Tsukihoshi never disappoints. Great as always, however, these are at least half size larger than other models.

These are the best! This is the only brand of shoes my boys will wear! They are easy to put in and take off by themselves at 3 years old. You can wash them in the washing machine and set out to dry and they don't lose a bit if shape and the quality stays the same. They wear them everyday and are still in excellent shape by the time they've outgrown them. This makes them perfect to hand down to someone who needs quality shoes when our kids can no longer wear them. We always have the next size up available to wear when their current ones become too small. The size we order is the exact size their foot is measured for, but could go up a size to make them last longer and they still don't feel too large.

I keep returning to this brand of shoe for my 5 year old boy. They are well made, sturdy, and wash well. They are great for wide feet This brand has never disappointed me in 5 years

These are so awesome!!! My son loves red, and only wants to wear red sneakers. He also loves to walk in all mud puddles he can find. These dry very quickly, and machine wash perfectly!! No matter how dirty they get they come out perfectly clean after a wash with some oxiclean. They dry overnight and good to go ! They are also a little rounder in the toes which is nice. Very easy for him to put on.

Wonderful shoe! We have purchased 3 pair as my son grew. They are quick and easy to put on and stood up to a great deal of wear from my 7 year old who loves to brake his bike and scooter with his feet! The fit is generous and the materials are sturdy. A good value that I am pleased to recommend.

My kid loves these shoes. Very easy to get on and off.

Our little guy has gone through a pair of these every six months (because he grows like a puppy). Each time we have to buy new ones I give the old to a friend and they honestly look new! They wear so well and take abuse!

My son never says these are very comfortable. They are light and have a good arch. They run a whole size larger than they say. Overall a great shoe! We will continue to buy this brand.

Great shoes! We continue to stick with this brand for all 3 boys. They take a beating and hold up well. We wash them a lot in the washing machine (without the insoles) and they come out looking great!

Great shoe!! Especially for a wide foot and high arch. The lace doesn't put pressure on the top of the foot (which is very important with a high arch) The Velcro strap is sturdy and does the job well. This 4 year old is extremely active. Huge fan of the brand! Every pair I've bought for my kids have by far outlasted a lesser priced name brand.. Last semester I was trying to save a few dollars and bought another brand, only for them to last not even 6 months with my active sporty 7-year old boy! Going back to the Tsukihoshi's from now on!

My 4-year-old son loves these shoes! They are great with thin socks or bare feet. They can easily be taken on and off by a child without adult assistance.

Tsukihoshi are my favorite kids shoes. They are easy to get on, hold up well, the tongue of the shoe is sewn in on one side/top so it doesn't slide around and they are machine washable. Well worth the money!

My son loves these shoes. We started with one pair that he wore all the time, so we got two more so that he could alternate. These shoes have a removable insole, which allows us to put his arch supports underneath. The shoes also have the tongue attached on one side, so it doesn't slip around.
