Loved the looks BUT I wear no show socks with these types of booties and after about five steps my socks were off my heel and under my foot. Tried different pairs of socks with the same result. I'm really sad that they didn't work out for me because they are super cute and comfy.

I bought these a year ago and wear them all the time. I really loved them at first but the leather is super thin and peels off. Now I am looking for a different pair.

What killed the deal with the Lucky Brand Basel is the heel. It is NOT a stacked leather heel as described. It is a piece of tape on a plastic heel that looks like leather for a few days. Other reviews alerted me to this. The pair I received, one corner of the heel tape was sloppily applied and it was obvious that it was just thin tape. I'm so disappointed because I love the style. I had ordered black and brown, but I am returning them for a brand that cares enough to make the heel look as good as the rest of the shoe.

I absolutely loved these boots. They were the exact style I was needing and so comfortable. However, the material wrapped around the heal of the boot has peeled away with wear and they now look shabby and cheap.

I was really excited about these shoes--just classic and nice looking. The quality is very poor. When they get wet, the material discolors and stains. When I try to wipe or polish them, the color of the shoe rubbed off. I am going to try to return due to poor quality. If the quality had been better, these would be my favorite shoes.

Bought a pair in black in the fall absolutely loved them. Got a pair in tan for Xmas as a gift. Didn't bother to try them on for several weeks when I did, they seemed a little tight. Wore them for an hour or so, very painful. Check the lining and both pair are marked a size 9M. When I put the bottoms of the shoes together, it is evident that the tan pair is shorter. Too late to be returned so I am out the shoes and the money. Do not assume that the same exact shoe in a different color will fit!

I received nothing but an email saying that I was receiving a refund for my return. I never received the boots and did not request that the order be cancelled. When I tried to call the customer service number shown on the email and the site, it said that the number was not in service. At least I got my money back, I guess.

The size and width were good however they did not appear as they did on the website. The picture on zappos shows a rougher leather, more distressed, and toe pointed up a bit. The boots that arrived were a smooth, almost shiny leather and very flat. Not the style I was looking for.

I loved the fit and style of these boots. The leather just pealed right off. I had flaps hanging off from bumping into my other foot. Wish I would have known it was a fragile shoe!

These were cute shoes, but VERY cheaply made. The shoes started falling apart with in hours of wearing them. Do not buy these shoes . Lucky Brand should be ashamed of putting this kind of trash out and charging for them. I

These do not hold up well!! I had them three months when the faux leather exterior starting chipping. I wore them approximately 2-3 times a week during that time to work, which is just an office environment. Not worth the money!

These boots are very cute! I got these in an 8 wide and an 8 and a half to compare. Both sizes had obviously been worn for a while. The soles were worn/dirty and the leather had crease marks. I’m returning them and will order another size 8 and a half. Hoping that I receive a pair in new condition this time.

I ordered this boot in brown and black. The brown were too tight and the black were too large. I rechecked the shoes themselves to make certain the sizes were the same. While the sizes stated were identical, they did not have the same fit. I returned both pairs.

I received my Basel bootie in a timely manner. It's a really nice quality boot. The insole of the boot has a nice thin cushion which provides comfort and support. The leopard pattern looks great with my jeans. I purchased my usual size 9M. Initially, the width of the boot felt a bit snug. I wore the boots around my house, on the carpet and after 10 minutes or so, I forgot about the snug feeling. I'm hopeful that with some use the width will stretch out a little bit. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.

This is a very comfortable boot and I can step right into it when putting them on. The heels get scuffed easily so I need to touch up with shoe polish. The comfort of the boot makes up for that inconvenience. This is my second black pair in 4 years.

Simple everyday shoe made of REAL leather which made the price feel appropriate. The shoe felt slightly narrower than marked but since since it's made with leather there will be some stretch/give over time. It looks and feels like a well-made, quality shoe.

I got a pair of Lucky Brand booties years ago that wore out. These had the same heel height which was perfect for me walking and standing in for long periods of time. I got the toffee (I think) color and they were just as comfortable as the previous pair. I have chronic plantar fasciitis so my footwear is super important to me. I can stand and walk in these all day. I made sure to get a pair in black.
