I want to love this bootie so badly. It looks great, seems well constructed, and has the perfect heel for what I was looking for. This shoe runs SMALL. I thought I’d be fine with my normal size because I just ordered another pair of 9 in a different brand and they are pretty loose. I generally wear between 8.5 and 9 in most shoes. These are tiny. I’m hoping they stretch out because I’ve already thrown the box away. Other than them fitting so tight, they are really nice shoes.

The look is perfect. Classy but can be dressed down. The leather is super soft. The Toffee color is great (not too dark brown but definitely not too orange either). The size, however, is a guessing game. I usually wear a size 7 or 7.5. Typically I wear a 7.5 in running shoes or boots (especially if I’ll be wearing socks with the boots). But the 7.5 was HUGE! I looked like I was wearing clown shoes and my feet slide around like crazy. I immediately returned them for a size 7 which fits better but is still too wide and a little too long. I ended up keeping them but kind of wish I had tried a size 6.5 (which I never wear). To note, my feet are a bit narrow, but a regular/medium width rarely causes any issues (except with these shoes). So I would recommend ordering a half to a whole size down especially if you have narrow to regular width feet.

I got these booties in the Camo and absolutely love them. They are a little tight at first but loosen up and I love wearing them. I had seen them at Dillard's but found them here for less. I was so happy! Great purchase!

Overall a very good ankle boot. The only complaint is that the front of the boot comes up higher than the back - giving the boot more of a western look. I would have preferred if the shaft was even across the top. (front and back the same height).

Great shoes! Just a bit too narrow

I typically wear a size 8.5 wide if I can find them (a 9 M if I cannot). I ordered the 8.5 wide in these. I own a couple pairs of the Emmie Ballet Flat and love them so when I saw they had cute plain bootie I was sold! The leather is great! Soft and the perfect toffee color! When I first put them on I thought they fit pretty well and decided to wear them for the day. Boy oh boy...after the first hour they made my feet hurt! the toe area is rather small and made my toes feel pinched. They also have no arch support. I am going to try to get an insole to see if that helps. Bummed that they become so uncomfortable after wearing, wishing I hadn't worn them so I could have returned them. Oh well.

I wear an 8.5 in just about any shoes (besides running shoes). These boots, however, were just slightly large in the heel. I use an orthotic insert and socks with with a grippy heel, and that solves the problem for the most part. Other than the slipping heel these are very comfortable. I stood much of the day and walked around a lot the first time I wore them, and my feet never hurt. The leather on the Toffee boot is pretty but not dressy. It's thick enough to hold its shape, which I like. It's ever so slightly darker in the toe area, which gives the boots a more casual look. Again, that's what I wanted. These look great with denim. I wore the boots two days in a row because they were so comfortable on day one. I figure that says it all. I've only owned these for a week, so I can't speak to how well they stand up (pun intended) over time.

These are cute European boots; the toe is not as curved as on the picture and I think personally that on the picture they looked more hip, but my main problem is with the sizing. The 42 european size is just not size 12 in the US. Sadly.

I have only been wearing these for a week/10 days and already some of the heel has begun peeling and discoloring . I guess I can’t return them at this point but this seems like poor workmanship. I got caught in the rain briefly once, but not all day!

I ordered 3 different black boots, almost all the same style. The Kenneth Cole Levon were my favorite looking ones (really liked the pebbled leather) but I had to return them as the ankle was shockingly tight. The other two pairs, this one (Lucky Brand Basel), and Rockport Carly Bootie, have very comfortable ankles, so it isn't a question of fat ankles. I ultimately kept the Lucky Brand ones, as they fit the best. The Rockport was nice though. None have good support, but with my 3/4 insoles, they work.

Got these for my 8 year old daughter, who has big and wide feet and is very picky about shoes. It is hard to get her to wear shoes at all. My daughter absolutely loves these boots. She said at first they were a little narrow (I had ordered the wide size), but within a day they had stretched out, and now she says they are extremely comfortable. I will probably buy another pair since she likes them so much. However, I have to say that many of the other reviews are correct--this boot wears very fast. Daughter has had them only a few weeks but they look much older. Of course, she is a child and is probably playing and climbing and harder on them than an adult would be, but still I think they should hold up a little better than they are. The boots are so attractive that I thought about ordering a pair for myself but after seeing how scuffed up and old they are already beginning to look, I probably won't.

I have never needed a wide width, but the regular width was too narrow in these shoes. I returned for the wide width and they fit great. I’m glad the wides work because they are cute shoes!
