Feels like glove leather

This review is based on initial impressions - will update when i've had them for a while Nice, supple leather boot for the price with a classic style. Runs slightly narrow, but will probably stretch when the leather breaks in. FYI - I ordered two sizes in Toffee, and there is quite a bit of color variation between each pair - one was far more reddish-brown, and the other was much lighter brown. This is natural for leather products, but just something to be aware of.

I have these in another color and love them but these in black were bigger and slipped on my foot.

I ordered these in the rifle green. They are truly a military green (not olive). I normally wear a 7.5 m so I ordered that despite reviews that they run small. I think they feel true to size length & width wise, but my heel slips a lot so I debated a long time before deciding to keep. I have one other pair of ankle booties and they slipped some until they got broken in and I am hoping for the same with these. I put some heel cushions in the back of these and that has reduced how much they slip. It is not as noticeable unless you are doing a lot of walking. This is my 1st "Lucky" brand purchase. Overall, I think these are super cool and I am happy with them, but I didn't put them on and feel like they were "made for me" like some other brands that I wear regularly.

This is a stylish boot that can work for weekend or work, due to its simplicity. Because I have very wide feet (EE) I sized up. I am glad I did because even the 8D feels a little narrow in the toe box. Totally wearable still, just becomes a little snug by the end of the day. Overall, I recommend it.

I got the 7.5 wide in the Toffee color and it looks really nice. Color is great, I like the slight fading on the tip. I don’t know if it was because I got a wide, but it was way too large on the shaft and it hit the front of my ankle every time I walk. It might be a great fit for ladies who need more room in the shaft. I can’t return it anymore since I’ve worn them so I’m just gonna wear them with thicker and longer socks.

Stiff because they are new. I do not like the way they lay on the front of my ankle and have an open gap behind the ankle.

Glad I ordered my regular size despite other reviews. Great shoe. Love the color.

Absolutely adorable! I'm loving the new python trend. These felt tight (across width) and stiff. However, as the day went on they loosened up a bit. I feel like after my third wear they'll be perfect...just like the 2 other Lucky booties in this style that I already owned!

I love these boots! I love them so much that I didn't want to send them back even though I should... They are really a half-size too small...

Cute but have to return bc they’re too tight in the toe box.

Very pretty shoes, but not flattering on my long feet. Also, the zippers make a LOT of noise--would not have been able to wear these in the office.

I like these boots, they need to worn a few times to break them in, fit true to sz.

I wear a size 12 wide, I was super excited that a found a 12 W in a stylish booty. Sadly the toe box is too snug.

Bought these in the the tan color a couple of years ago and I love them so I bought the black ones too. These feel a bit smaller and tighter around the top of my foot (I still ordered the same size as the tan though) but it might be that they're not broken in yet. The odd thing was though, that the insole was kind of...sticky? Tacky? It had a bit of a grip, basically, whereas my old tan ones just slipped right on. I actually had Zappos exchange the first black pair for another, thinking this insole thing was a defect, but the second pair had the same problem. The fact that the insole kind of "grabs" your sock and pulls it tight around your toes might be why these feel smaller than my others. Regardless, they're still cute and once I have them on and walk around in them, I don't notice the insole or the size, so I'd still recommend!

I love these boots- I just bought my 3rd pair. Unfortunately, the black ones have a very thin, fine leather layer, which if becomes scuffed starts to peel off. This happened on one pair and in so I bought a 2nd pair in black for "nice and careful" wear. I also have the tan pair, which has a thicker layer of leather and hasn't started to peel off.

Heel was higher than I thought otherwise great boot!

I purchased the wide width and I'm happy I did. I like the look of these boots and the color is great. I haven't worn them much but based on some of the other reviews I'm a little concerned about how they will wear, but they've been ok so far. The biggest issue I have with these shoes is the zippers - the pull tabs are SO LOUD and they sort of jingle around when I walk. I sort of MacGyvered them by adding a small piece of soft velcro to the back of the tab to help quiet them down. They still make noise but it's not as bad. If you're like me and avoid attracting attention this might be an issue for you though. Side note - Zappos service is fantastic. Keep up the good work everyone!

These are really good looking shoes. The shape is great, the slightly differing height at the ankle is flattering, and the toffee color is perfect. My feet are usually between an 11 and 11.5, regular width. I ordered an 11W first, but they were too small. I ended up with the 12, regular width. The first couple times wearing them for several hours were fairly uncomfortable, but the leather has adjusted to my feet now. I don't feel uncomfortable wearing them now, but my feet do ache some after taking them off.

These boots are very stylish, and I have received many compliments on them. They provide very little arch support though. I have to wear these with Vionic insoles.
