I bought these boots as a gift and they have quickly become a staple in her wardrobe. She wears them even when they arguably don’t go with her outfit. She might like them even more than she likes me — but that’s our nit to pick. As far as everyone else is concerned, these boots look fantastic and reportedly feel great.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and easy to walk in. I wore my first pair so much that I had to get a second pair.

Love these booties! Very comfortable and have received lots of compliments on them. This is my second pair (first one lasted a few years) but decided to replace since the leather was very worn looking. Haven't had issues with gouges out of the leather like some other reviewers or issues with the heel. They are my go-to bootie in the fall for work and are a good transition from work to social events after. They are expensive given the leather can become worn and at that point I didn't want to keep the same pair, so I try and wait for a sale to purchase, but still think they are worth it at full price.

I bought Basel bootie in taupe to replace the Lucky Brand Brett bootie after the Brett bootie ripped on the bunion area. I have a black pair of Brett booties too and it seemed as if the black suede is stronger than the taupe. This Basel bootie in Taupe felt stronger and it took a little longer to break in. I used a sock a little thicker than a silk knee high and the it helped with the break in period. It is just as cute as the Brett bootie and I hope it will last longer. I love the color and the darker heel and sole looks great. I have found that the bottom and heels of Lucky Brand booties seem to ware off very quickly.

This will be your new favorite shoe! So cute and comfortable. I was worried about the black leather getting wrinkles with wear but they just look better and better. The upper is very soft leather and aging nicely. I can wear them all day with no fatigue.
