Been looking for these boots since they were sold out last season. just received mine! Go a half size up. Accidentally ordered my usual size, read reviews and changed my order. UGG sent me the new size complimentary over night shipping before the original pair ordered were returned. Very happy with UGG's customer service and continuous quality of product. Can't wait for the first snow fall!

These boots are a dream and worth the investment for anyone who endures the typical Chicago winter. With temperatures that easily reach below zero, not to mention the wind chill factors- the shearling will keep my toes warm, regardless. I like the height of these boots because my city receives several heavy snow falls during the winter season, and once it starts to melt I love knowing that my boots are waterproof and won't be ruined- though I did spray them with a boot protectant, just to be sure. I must say, these boots are way out of my traditional budget, but I seem them as an investment. I use public transportation, and love being outdoors despite the weather- and I am so glad that I now how have the perfect boot for an impossible day!

I bought these as I live in Australia (where, ironically, you can't buy Ugg Australia) but am spending my winter in Russia and Mongolia! I bought the short version of the boot last year, but ended up giving them to a friend as they were slightly too small for me despite the fact I am usually spot-on a size 8. This time I went for the 8.5 and they are PERFECT - they don't rub without socks or with thin socks, but there is enough room to wear them comfortably with my thick merino socks!

I love, love, love this boot! I was hesitant to buy them because of the price tag, but I haven't regretted it! Great winter weather boot. I prefer to wear them without socks. They even have arch support! I can't wait for snow so I can wear them! So cute with tights!

feel ready for the snow

I was so disappointed when these sold out last year. I have been an UGG boot wearer since way before Oprah said that they were cool. I filled out the info on the UGG Australia website that I wanted to be notified when they were back in stock and it was like Christmas morning when, several months later, I received an email that my boots were back! I'm so happy that I did not settle for anything less than UGG's. The fit is great. I ordered my normal shoe size. I live in Minnesota and I know that I am going to be warm and dry all winter!

These boots have been on my Wish and Waiting Lists since last year. I could not find the Tall Adirondack boots in stock anywhere last year. I have the shorter ones which are great but also need the higher boots because of the amount of snow we got last winter! So now I am ready. Bring on the Snow!!!

After an extensive search I finally found the perfect boots. There was just one in stock in my size and unavailable through other high end department stores. I knew these were the ones - I had to have these. I fell in love ... Beautiful winter boots. It is the best by far. Yes it is expensive but well worth the price and quality of the boots. I love to buy products that are somewhat scarce. These boots will be of use to me for many years to come. The style is timeless and one receive a great warmth and protection during these cold and punishable winter times.

I love this boot. It is cute, stylish as well as super comfortable. I will use this boot on my trip to Europe in January. The one thing that is not so wonderful about this boot is that it appears to be very limited in quantity and hard to get a hold of. I could only find it online. I hope you will continue to make the Adirondack Tall as everywhere I looked I could not find it. I could only find the Adirondack II -which is short- Please continue to make this boot. I would love love love to have it in other colors as well. Overall GREAT BOOT!!!

I am a loyal UGG boot shopper. I have had SZ 7 all my life in Ultimate Talls (in other brand shoes 7.5), and ordered the 7.5 in these because, well, to be honest, they didn't have an 8 and I wanted them ASAP. The 7.5 fits snug, but not too snug where my toes hurt. I have been in debate on whether to return and wait for the 8's to come back, but as of now (day 1) I think I'll stick to these. Like I said, snug, but not uncomfortable. I wear mostly skinny jeans/leggings, so I figure the talls will keep calves warm. I also can wear these without socks b.c of the amazing wool. But, because it's leather, and not sheepskin on outside, I tried on thick socks. Somehow the feel is the same (snug-wise) with or without socks. If they had the 8s in stock I would go with those, only because it's winter and I feel weird not wearing socks, or having wriggle room for my toes. I am going to have to live the 7.5's though and get over it because I want to wear for thanksgiving!!

I bought the brown boot two years ago... I shop on the thrifty side, but decided not to sacrifice a good boot or coat... My uggs look brand new still. I commute downtown Chicago, Windy City, first year I had them was waiting at cold frigid bus stops. They were worth every penny. Every time I put them on I smile... Nice to know I got my money's worth, I love the comfort of the sheep skin...and also the rubberized leather makes a perfect choice for wet, muddy, snow conditions. I read a review that said they were not warm, that person must be anemic or something because I am size 10, have a little meat on my bones, and was always burning ... Lol. I can't say enough ABOUT these boots. My husband is super cheap...and he has seen how happy I am and we are planning to get him a pair this week, also w the rubberized leather... If you can't tell I am a big fan of the rubberized leather....just because I feel that is the most sensible..durable.. Choice for unpredictable weather conditions,,would not buy a suede boot, ever, I just am too active for those and busy to maintain them. But that is just me... I also want my boot to look very good for two or three years,, and I just don't see that happening w suede in Chicago... I will likely buy one ugh boot every winter... I suggest just keeping in mind what you expect of the boot, read reviews, understand return policy, and be ok with spending more for a high quality boot.

First, if you can find these, grab them! They're so warm and comfortable, offer great traction in the snow and keep your feet supported and dry. There are some differences between these and classic UGGs though. The sheepskin extends down the length of the boot until just above the ankle area (where the seam separates the suede from the leather) and then has some type of water proof sock fabric liner around the foot itself. The bottom has a sheepskin insole. You could wear these without socks, but for additional warmth, I would wear a light sock. Since the outer portion of the bottom of the boot is not sheepskin, the boot does not stretch with wear. I wear a size 9 in classic Uggs, but had to go up to a size 10 in these. My foot tends to be a little wider and the 9's we're too tight across the top of the foot. Like others have said, you may want to consider going up a half to a full size. I've heard the tall version of this boot is being discontinued, so as I said, if you can find it, grab it. They look wonderful with skinny jeans tucked in, and you can't beat this boot if you want to get out in the snow and not worry about ruining your Uggs!

I have only tried my boots on but they are AWESOME! Very warm and cushioned throughout the sole. I typically wear size 8.5-9 (I bought my classic Ugg boots in size 8) but had to buy these in size 9.5 because my toes rubbed the front of boot in my usual size. I look forward to using these boots on cold/wet/snowy days!

I am outdoors a lot hiking in woods and shopping. I wanted stylish boots that could do both. These are it! Keep the laces loose but knotted at the ends and you can slip them on and off easily. So warm, I have been wearing them with bare feet! Comfortable and cozy. I love these boots! Totally worth the money I had buyers guilt at first, but after the second wearing, realized that this was a boot investment! Very well made and completely water proof.
