These are the cutest Birkenstocks I have ever seen. I am not keeping them because they feel very stiff. I bought them to wear while recovering from foot surgery but they won't work for me. I am sure a fan of Birkenstocks would love them.

I LOVE Birkenstocks; have 5 pair! There's not a more comfortable sandal out there. BUT, this Madrid style falls short. I bought these because I wanted a style a bit more dressy and less clunky. They honestly do not feel like Birkenstocks on your feet. They just are not comfortable. SO disappointed!

I’ve never been able to wear Birks because my feet are so narrow so I was excited to see they now come in narrow. Wrong! These are still waaaaaaay too wide.

Great style but not as comfortable as the class is birks. They sort of flop and not shoes you can run across the street with without thinking you might fall. Birks favorite brand just not this style.

I love my Birks, but the patent Birko-flor upper on this model didn't work for me. It just feels cheap, so I will return these and look for leather uppers. (I also purchased the "Madrid" style made from EVA from another company. Warning -- they only make the EVA model in Birkenstock "Narrow" width, not the "Regular," even though that company advertised it as Medium width.)

I like the style of this shoe, but I found the show uncomfortable from the cross strap being too rigid and my foot not conforming sufficiently with the ridges in the sole.

Due to my foot surgery a year ago I need a soft bottom and soft leather top and both of these are to FIRM. My mistake because I did not know how firm they would be so I am returning them. Please credit my account. Thank you, jean
