Good boot for the price. good styling and comfortable fit. the waterproof factor was just an added bonus for me as I plan to use these in the fall and winter more than during the summer.

This is my second pair. Basically enough said there. I would say though that, although it was probably due to my wearing them all day everyday from when I bough my first pair till about now, the laces themself did start to wear down and even started fraying. The boot itself held up quite nicely and once they're broken in, and even before then, they were and are really comfortable. At least for me. If it wasn't for the laces on my first pair, I probably would still be wearing the old ones now. Also, they do mean waterproof when they say that these boots are waterproof. Stepped in a pile of snow...cause I had to and my foot never got wet! :)

The boot is lightweight so it's good for comfort. I'm worried a bit about how long the sole will last as it is a lighter synthetic outsole instead of a traditional thick rubber as one would expect with a boot.

This is a good boot, although a little on the lightweight side. I don't wear them for really heavy, rough work but they are a good wearing boot for everyday use. Very comfortable! Nice looking!

Quick to cause foot fatigue. They look great and are perfect in all weather conditions, but if you spend more than 60-90 minutes on your feet at a time don't expect your feet to be happy. Basically, they have no cushioning in the sole at all, or at least what is there doesn't seem to offer much rebound or cushion.

These boots look great and are extremely comfortable. Great that they come in 3 widths, and I needed the widest. They don't last that long, though, as the soles flatten out and lose traction in a year or so. With a Vibram sole or equivalent, these are a home run, though.

Shoes look nice and are comfortable, but disappointed in the material. The uppers are more like a vinyl than traditional leather and the sole is foam that I have very little faith will last more than a year.

Just OK boots. Right boot has an issue with the heel stiffener where it meets the sole. Have to see if they wear in well and have the long term quality I expect from Rockport

These rock ports do not work for me. After a week to break them in, their ok but not super comfortable for me. I work in the deliver business and on my feet 10 to 12 a day. By the Wednesday they were a little better but i still had to go purchase a pair of new balance shoes this past weekend.....to wear for work monday. I will wear these on rainy days, just trying to get some of my money out of them.

I have had these boots now for awhile. Great fit and comfortable in good weather; however, I am disappointed in the soles in rain and snow. I thought they would be fine as the boots are waterproof but they are extremely slippery in the rain or snow. I still recommend the boots when the weather is nice.

The boots delivered with the right size and fit comfortably. It said to be waterproof, but snow can still get in from the top, get melt and wet the socks. A better designed top collar would have helped the snow from getting in. Also, the sole does not good traction, and one can easily slip on ice cover surface.

Very comfortable shoes. I added some insoles with extra arch support, because these felt a little flat to me. But these boots have a clicking problem. I've been wearing them for a week and a half now, hoping that breaking them in would cause the clicking noise to stop, but it's actually gotten a bit worse. This is the second pair of this model that I've received, and both of them had this problem. I took them to a shoe repair store, hoping they could identify what the cause was, but they seemed somewhat stumped about what was actually causing the clicking noise. They're fine for outdoor wear, but there's a noticeable click when I'm indoors.

I have had success with other Rockport shoes WIDE sizes, last two years, I have bought a good boot that stayed waterproof for the year and was wide enough, but these are not actual wides. I weigh 200 pounds and wear out shoes in 7 months--I bought another pair of Rockports at a local store where the last was WIDE enough. Like the brand, just wrong fit on this one. Recommend but not for WIDE feet.

Fit and size are good. Boots are lightweight and comfortable. But I'm disappointed in the durability. I bought these boots a year ago. After only a few months, the tread was worn completely off and there is massive heel wear. This is because the soles are what seems to be some kind of lightweight foam rather than something like rubber on the bottom.

I bought a pair of hydro-shield Rockports like this 5 years ago (see attached photos). I am in the military, so only wore them on weekends during the Winter months. These boots are Extremely comfortable and the leather uppers are very durable; however, this winter I noticed the rubber seam where the leather is attached to the sole cracked and started coming off in big chunks...so now the boots are basically disintegrating, presumably due to poor quality rubber. Overall I'm satisfied with these boots, but I expected the soles to be a bit more durable.
