Shoe feels 1/2 size too small. Width feels right. Not my favorite Birkenstocks.

Too narrow

Although cute, comfy, & felt very supportive, they had to be returned because they were defective. The inside attachment on one of the straps wasn't put in level the rivet they used didn't lay well & I couldn't adjust the strap in the proper "size" that worked without it being too loose. The fur liner seemed good at first but after a bit on your foot was way too hot. For the price paid thought it would of been made a bit nicer.

I really wanted to like these Birks and tried them in two sizes but neither size worked out. The shearling lining takes up a lot of space in the shoes, and even though I know it compresses over time, they were just too uncomfortable to wear. The shoes seemed short in length, even when I sized up and they are also very narrow. Maybe if they came in regular width they would fit comfortable, but they only come in narrow.

These are so soft and comfy - but I have to scrunch my toes up to walk in them. If I only wear them sitting, they feel good - but I just can't walk in them!

Ok- after wearing these as slippers fit a year now it weird how the fur wears away and is not as comfy as they were.

Three Boston style birks came in with scuffed suede on top. Love the shoe in general, and I don’t know if that is a quality control issue with Birk or with Zappos. Very inconvenient though.

I have loved my birkenstocks in the past, so I was excited to get these. Mind you, I wear an 8 double wide, and I usually have to take my Birkenstocks to my local store and get them flattened a bit, so we should start there, but I ordered my typical size in regular width, and they were still too narrow to fit my wide feet. I had to return these, and I purchased a regular pair without trouble.

I love these shoes...BUT...they do stain your feet. Not at first so I kept them but after a few weeks they stain horribly and even after a few days of not wearing them my toes are still black. I love how comfortable they are and practically live in them during the winter, but kind of wish I could return them so my feet didn’t look like my toes were dying. Super comfortable and great but perma black toes have ruined them for me.

I love the comfort of these for indoor slippers but the black shearling stains your feet when worn without socks. I've been wearing them for a month and it hasn't lessened the staining at all - the black dye transfers to your feet making them look filthy. If you wear them with socks you'll be okay.

True to Birkenstock size. Very happy with the quality and fit. I wear them in the house as slippers because of the support and the comfy fur lining.

Too hot and irritated side of right foot

This is a comfortable and great looking mule but the quality of the leather cut outs and the shearling is inconsistent and mismatched on both pairs I ordered. Ordered a second pair and color and type of suede is very different from first pair. The sheralig on the second pair is much thicker than the first pair. Sadly they are both going back. Was hoping these would be my go to slippers this season.

Loved these so much but was so disappointed when after just a few wears the shearling lining began peeling away from the heel. Luckily the awesome customer service team allowed me to return. Bummed because these shoes are so cute and comfy, just not the quality i would expect from birkenstock and for the price.

The black dies dye your feet. I wore them for at least 3 months , they turned my feet black every time. I had a difficult time finding a pair without defects. after serveral returns zaps helped me by having the shoes go the a added inspection. Thank you zappos!!! I love Birks but I will stick to sandals

Bought for daughter and she said the brown was too greenish and the fluffy wool was not as thick as her uggs

Seemed to run big. Also, one shoe had sharp plastic sticking up on one side through the side of shoe that poked into foot. I think I may try smaller and hope for no sharp plastic.

The first pair of Boston Clogs that I purchased from Zappos has exposed glue seams inside the shoe that rubbed against my feet. Very uncomfortable. Also, the black pair that Zappos sent had scuffs on the top of the shoe. I could not brush these scuffs off. I sent the shoes back and reordered another pair thinking that I got a pair that missed quality control. Guess what? Zappos sent me the exact same pair back. How do I know? Because of the same scuff marks on the op of the shoe and the exposed glue seams hurting me in the same spot as the first pair. Birkenstock please make sure there are no exposed glue seams on your new shearling lined glue seams. Also, I would love to purchase the new nut color of the shearling lined clogs but you only offer them in narrow. Why? Many women require regular width Birkenstocks. Please make them available to us so we are not constantly stuck with the dull neutral colors.

I love these shoes. But in this pair the inside of the right shoe is very rough. So I am unable to wear without socks! I am hoping the replacement pair will arrive in perfect condition.

I've been on a Birkenstock shearling kick recently. Shearling insoled Arizonas started it, so l looked for additional styles to keep my feet happy as the weather cools. I wear 39N in the unisex Arizona (plain cork and shearling). I'm a 8.5B-9B in regular shoes. I've never tried the closed-toe clog option until now. I ordered up a size to 40, thinking I'd need the extra length, but no, even with shearling they felt too long. Also the fur was silkier & thinner than the fluffy bouncy shearling in the Arizonas I have and wear constantly. I wondered if I just got an off pair. They are truly fugly, even if you find the non-style of Birks kind of charming. They made my feet look like big suede flippers. I returned them but my other shearling-lined birks are an absolute treat! (BTW, the black fur does rub off on feet.)

The shoes were really comfortable but the shearling is wearing off on the sides and back after only a few weeks. The dye is also coming off onto my feet. They are too expensive to be wearing poorly. I don't have my receipt or box but I want to send them back. I am so disappointed ??. I have several pairs of Giza sandals and Boston shoes. I am not new to this company.

I was so excited to receive my package in a timely manner and could not wait to put on these great shoes. Everything was super except for the rough interior portion of the shearling inserts. The rough stitching ruined them for me.

I wrote a nice review for this product in December but here it is just about 6 weeks later and I'm wishing I had purchased the non-shearling version. I wear these daily and the shearling has worn off in several areas and the footbed is a little sticky when barefoot. Great idea but the quality is not what I expected from Birkenstock.

I had to order this shoe three times before I was able to get the one that fit me correctly. I usually wear a 42 which is a women’s size 11 however, Birkenstock is now making the shoe a size smaller, so I ordered a 43. One of the main issues was that the glue on the inside of the shearing was not glued down, so there was a sharp edge on both sides of the shoe, so be aware that this could happen to you.
