Shoe is comfortable and had great support but after two wears lots of of shearling/fluff are coming off . I’m not sure If they are defective or if they shed during every wear. I tried socks and without socks both times fur continues to come off. My concern is what will they look like after a month if it’s doing it after a few wears so I’m returning for regular Birkenstock’s because I never have issues with them.

Really loved these but unfortunately narrow does mean narrow, despite what the Zappos description says. The toe bed is very curved and if you are used to a traditional Arizona footbed your smaller toes will sadly not fit into this shoe. Sadly had to return. Wish Birkenstock made them in the regular footbed! (And I did order 40 instead of my usual 39.)

Love Birkenstock but this item fell short. The lining was slippery making my foot slid forward. So sorry they did not work...they looked so comfortable and warm.

I have multiple pairs of Birkenstocks. I was interested in trying these because of the Shearling lining. I was not pleased with the overall look. I'll stick to the simple sandal

Comfy and warm, but stained my feet black. Had to return.

The first pair I had worked out well--exceptionally comfortable in mocha brown. I ordered black ones next but they were defective--the fuzz was separated from the footbed as in poor workmanship. I exchanged them for another mocha colored pair and after 20 or so wearings, the fuzz receded away from the footbed by the big toe and the inner arch area leaving bare footbed. Since they cannot be returned now, I found some shearling material to take to a shoe repairman to see if he can piece and glue some more in to make do. Love these shoes, but this model of Birkenstock has a tendency for poor design and or workmanship from reading other reviews. The $145.00 price tag far exceeds the quality. This is surprising to me as Birkenstock has always had a good reputation--just not for this shoe. Looks like your chances of getting a well-made pair that lasts in this style is about 50-50. I'm a size 9-9.5 and these shoes make my feet look HUGE!! I felt like I had snowshoes on. Seriously it was awful! But they are super comfy and soft and would have been perfect for the Florida winter season. If I had a smaller foot they would have been adorable.

I was sent a pair of size 37 shearling Birk sandals that looked like they had been worn for a year and sent back. I make a lot of purchases on Zappos and haven't ever had an issue with Zappos before this. The shoes I was sent were well-worn, as evidenced by the completely smashed, foot-shaped, yellow, foot-sweat stained footbed, as well as the shearling that had been pulled away from the the insole by long time wear-and-tear. I cannot comment on size/width/support, as I refused to try them on, but was required to rate them for review.

What happened to Birkenstock's quality control? This is the second pair in this style I've had to return due to defects. Both pairs had glue on the shearling and it's SHARP. Both pairs had defects in where the straps meet the foot bed. Have I just been unlucky? In the meantime my feet hurt buying and returning and having nothing :-(

I ordered gray, I got black. I spoke to a customer service representative who set up the exchange. Gray please. Again I got black! How many times do I need to do this before I get what I ordered?

Returning because there was a hard bump in the left shoe near the outter toe strap on the inside. Could not wear it like that. Grey color was pretty.

Part of fur inside had a glued edge that hit right in my arch

The cut of the material on the inside of one of the shoes left a sharp edge down the entire side of that shoe. I have a couple of pairs of these shoes which I usually love, so this was a production malfunction. unwearable.

Least favorite Birk ever - felt cheaply made - glue visible, beyond stiff these were promptly returned

This is my 2nd pair of the Sheri game in the s@me size. I believe my 1st pair is regular width but I needed to tighten the upper strap to make it comfortable. Otherwiz3 8 love the fuzzy, the color and the look. Shipping was great. Still would recommend.

Sent them back. They fit like a large 6, not a 5 or 51/2.

Not sure! I will send it back most probably 38 is too narrow and 39 slips out of feet comfort is secondary if it doesn’t fit i love the color and the style though!

You can feel the hard glued sides in the insole

Initially they seemed like a good fit. But then I felt something crunchy under the side of one foot. The glue was coming through the shearling and there was a crack between sections of it so you could feel the edge of that too. Really poor quality. Surprising as I have several other pairs of Birks that have lasted many years.

These Birkenstocks were great at first, for about a month. They are so stretched out, the straps, that they do not fit my feet anymore. I have probably worn these shoes about eight times. They are all stretched out.

I wanted to have these shoes work for me, but it didn’t happen. I have hammer toes, which cannot handle the strap across the toes, and my narrow feet could not avoid shifting around in them, despite the shearling thickness. I wanted to try, and with the great Zappos return policy, I could! Disappointed but undaunted!!!

Not great. The "Shearling" fades away, fades off & you're left with blotchy spaces. Doesn't look good or feel good. They're not made well, at all. I've only had them 2 months & they look like they're years old.
