I have wide feet and normally wear a 39 regular in Birkenstocks but had to size up to a 40 in these. They still feel slightly more narrow than the non fleece lined ones but I think they will be fine once they mold to my feet more. Cute and comfy! Perfect for a southern California winter!!

Love these but the shearling wears off. Bought a pair winter before last, but could not find any last year to replace them. So I bought them early this year, asking Zappos to send an alert when they became available, which they did. I wish Birkenstock would come up with a fix for the shearling wearing off, even if they could just remove it and replace it with something else. I just wear my old ones around the house. They run a little wide, but with winter socks they’re ok. People always compliment me on them. Mostly they just look so comfy:)

I like how they look and feel so cozy. But after one wear, I’m already a bit worried about how long the shearling will last. Will have to wear with care.

i love this sandal. However, the lining sheds and before long think there won't be anything left to the lining. It also made the sole of my foot perspire. For those reasons, I am returning this sandal. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful customer service.

I have always loved Birkenstocks. I love these, however, DO NOT wear these without socks because my feet turned black and it was very hard to get off! I really wanted to wear these barefoot, but you can't with these.

Great cozy shearling, but runs quite large and the shearling looks like it's trying to escape

The pair I received is defective: the glued seam on the inside shearling lining on the right sandal is exposed and rough. It makes the right shoe very uncomfortable to wear. Width of footbed seems right, but my foot rubs a little against the ridges on the outside of the shoe and my toes slide up on the ridges on the front of the shoe when I walk. Also, I have to put the top straps on the last hole to keep them on my feet, and they still flop around some. Do I need a smaller size in length? I'm afraid that won't work because my foot will be placed right on the ridges.

This was 2nd attempt getting this color in Women size 11-11 1/2. First was Narrow, which was narrower, and a tad shorter than the same size/width I purchased a year ago. Customer Service suggested Regular. It is still on the narrow side and a bit short: toes on rim. Rep suggested I try Unisex 11 Regular, which I have done. We'll see. Are they making Women smaller now to accommodate Unisex?

Running SMALL! I ordered stone coin size 11 regular a year ago. Too big. Returned. Ordered 11 narrow. Fine. Just re-ordered/received same item, expecting to fit perfect. Too narrow and short. Returning, ordering in regular. We'll see. ALSO, note there is now a unisex version with more colors avail in more sizes. I'm going all in, ordering a mink in 11 regular. As others noted, the shearling does wear down over time, but sure is cozy....Great Customer Rep helped guide. Thanks Zappos!

Beware: the violet is running narrower than narrow. I purchased and loved the stone in 42 Narrow about a year ago. Just rec'd the violet and it is 1/2 inch narrower between the two cross straps. Was hoping to get another color but these are going back.

I used to live in Birkenstocks back in the day, but haven't worn them for years having found Teva's way more practical (no constantly dumping pebble bits out the old shoe bed). However, I now have aching feet and Hallux Limitus so have had to rethink everything shoe and slipper. It's shocking how many sizes and styles I've bought and returned in the last couple of months (Yay Zappos outstanding customer service!). I'm practically family at the local UPS return store lol! For all you ladies with long, narrow feet, I feel you! Depending on the manufacturer and design, I'm anywhere from a 10 to an 11+ N. Using the size chart provided by Birkenstock, I'm a 41 Narrow. Nope. Too short and way too narrow )a first for me). So back they went and I ordered a 42 Medium. They fit way better. As far as comfort goes, it's too early to tell. I bought these guys strictly as indoor slippers. Hopefully they'll work great. Having read quite a few reviews about the shearling lining wearing off quickly and the glue on the sides being sub par, I'm a bit nervous. I really don't mind paying more for something that will last. But not for something that will end up at the landfill before spring.

These shoes run small and even with the size up it was still too small. I’m a size 13 I have to go up 2 sizes.

First these run a full size small, barefoot maybe a half size. When they made them they didn’t account for all the shearling taking up space; unless they except it to flatten out in little time, in which case there’s no point to owning them. Was mine arrived tried on and no one attempted to get the buckles back in and I can see why…it’s a pain to find the holes through the fluff, I have to put a toothpick through one side to guide the buckle through the other. Too small and not worth the hassle.

I have this shoe in another color. This pair did not fit properly . The right shoe seemed too narrow at the heel. Sorry i cant keep them.

I really like how these look and the fuzziness is warm however after only wearing around the house for less than a day, the fuzz on the bottom is already totally worn down which is a bummer. Wish they had held up longer than a day!

I think I probably wear a true 6 but since Birkenstock doesn't make their shoes in individual sizes, the 6-6.5 is better than the 5-5.5, so in that scene, they fit. Well, they fit well enough that this is my second pair of shearings! I love the warmth being just right -- not too hot! And I'll most likely buy a third pair when these are shear-less from wear.

It’s a beautiful style, and the shearling feels very luxurious and warm, but the sandal is definitely more narrow in width than my other Arizonas - unfortunately, it cuts into both sides of my feet. I am considering opting for the R-wide width, but am worried it will be too wide (the R width is too wide in Bostons). Sad to send back, but I am grateful for how customer friendly Zappos is.

This is my second pair of Arizona Shearlings. The first I have worn out completely over the last few years (but I still wear them). The quality and fit of this pair doesn't seem to be the same at all. The suede was not as thick and the shearling seemed cheap. Just not the same sandal. I guess I just keep on wearing the old ones!

Even though the wide was narrow, I went ahead and purchased because I’ve had decent luck with Birkenstock narrow width. These were far too narrow and too short. Birkenstock really needs to make fun colors in the regular width!
