I really liked this slipper but I am surprised and disappointed by the workmanship. The rubber sole is so thin it's worn away in just 15 months and exposed the wool base. Never worn outside even once.

I've bought less-expenisive slippers in the past and have just wasted my money as they would wear out in no time. It was a splurge to purchase these but I figure you get what you pay for... I haven't had these for very long, but they seem well-constructed and warm. The removable footbed could be a tad cushier, and a little more arch support would be great as well as I have high arches. I like the non-skid sole but the rubber around the front of the toe catches on rugs, you must watch that. I wear an 8.5 and wish they came in half-sizes as a 9 is largish... but I wear them with thicker socks. I've had Giesswein slippers in the past and I recall they lasted quite some time, as they should for the $$. Overall, these are nice slippers. I'll try to catch them on sale in the future.

I believe these are the same fit as Flora. I have had four pairs of them. I wash them quite often and they come out really nice. I am looking forward to these. I have never had a problem with toes coming through the fabric. Maybe the people complaining about that are buying them too short. I love these comfortable slippers and unfortunately, so do my two Labrador Retrievers. They get them every time I put them on the floor. Now for pair number five.

These are superior slippers! They have great arch support for my very high arches, and the toe box is comfortable and structured, not loose or sloppy. The only problem is that, after reading reviews, I sized down so that they would not get stretched out. I should have ordered my true size -- which I'll do now!

Two pairs in two years, wore a hole in the top portion of both slippers near the big toe. Very disappointing.

perfect fit despite having to order a bit bigger (40 instead of 39) just snug enough to stay on securely. when walking. surprisingly good arch support for a slipper type shoe; I have fairly high arches. definitely feels like good quality for the $$$. happy too for their washability.

I bought this to survive the New England winter and it's perhaps the most perfect old man slippers I have ever purchased. The fit is perfect right out of the box and I've been wearing it every cold morning and evening. Just the right amount of grip on the hardwood floor and super comfortable. Your feet does sweat after wearing it for a while but I don't know any other slippers like these that don't.

I had a pair of these that I picked up in Austria during a visit and loved them. In time, my big toe broke through the shoe so it was time to buy a new pair. Found the exact duplicate in the same size/color and ordered them and they were exactly as expected. A comfortable slipper that doesn't slide on wood floors because of the rubber sole. I bit pricey but worth it.

I was hesitant when these first arrived because they seemed too small but after wearing them a few days they stretched out and fit perfectly. They are super comfortable and so far are holding up well. I like that the bottoms are rubber in case i walk out on our deck with them.

Cannot say enough positive things about these slippers. Most comfortable slippers I've ever had. Just as comfy as by Birkenstocks. Size is true, and they look cool. Plus they showed up in a day...Kudos Zappos. Why can't all companies ship like Zappos does? Definitely worth the cost!

These house shoes are great! I broke my foot several months ago and needed something with arch support to wear around the house. This hit the mark! Comfortable and supportive!

I bought these for my husband and he was thrilled with the slippers. He mentions that the slippers stay on his feet and he doesn't have to worry about tripping especially going up and down the stairs. He is amazed at how much support they provide. I had to talk him into getting a more expensive pair of slippers because he normally buys cheaper pairs. He really thinks it's a light and day fit. He's very happy with the purchase. :)

Best slippers I've ever owned. They're comfortable, supportive and have great arch support. I ordered them in the European size I usually wear, and they were a perfect fit.

Fit was fine. I'm not used to a slip-on with no heel backing so that took some adjustment. But I purchased these as the only Giesweins available in my larger size. Not what I'd wanted but the quality is high and the arch support helpful. If you like an open-back slipper these are top notch!

The first pair I had to return because they were too small. I went up a size and that fixed the problem. So far I like them, hoping to love them like most of the reviews state.

High arches but they fit my wife perfectly. Very comfortable and the wool is great because They never get funky. I have a pair as well and I can go barefoot and they never get stinky.

These are extremely comfortable and supportive slippers. I ordered my regular shoe size and they fit well both with and without socks. If you wear slippers without socks and like a closer fit, I advise you to order a size down.

I'm so disappointed these won't work out. I couldn't take one step without them flying off my feet. The problem is not the length but the width which is huge on my slightly narrow feet. I don't think sizing down will help. I could size down 1/2 max in the length but would need to go almost 2 sizes smaller in the width. Otherwise, they were very soft and nicely made.

I have always used my flip flops as slippers. These are MUCH better. comfortable, appreciate the non-slip sole. If you are on the fence about these, ORDER them!! You won't be sorry. The support was much better than I thought--pleasant surprise.

I love these slippers! I have two pair, the flora and the abend. I am seriously considering another pair. I wear them all the time. I have wasted money on furry cheap slippers, You can even get away with wearing them to the store.

These are amazing. Very comfortable, warm, and I love the fact that no animals are harmed to make these and they are the most eco-friendly product offered in the slipper category. Highly recommend!

I have purchased the Abend slipper three times. The toes do wear out but the comfort and warmth they provide make it worth ordering over again.

Received these as a Christmas gift and have worn them everyday since. They are extremely comfortable and warm. Great arch support too. The quality seems top-notch.
