I have "messy" feet (flat, narrow heel, currently nursing Morton's Neuroma in my left) and these are awesome! They handle my custom orthotic and provide plenty of arch support and comfort too. I've bought and returned a lot of shoes over the past 6 months from Zappos and these are a keeper. It's got pretty unique styling which even my teenage son approved of.

Got one orange and gray shoe as well as a navy and orange shoe. Had to return ASAP for Xmas—they made a mistake!

I feel as though the Cloud Surfer was redesigned and took away from the original design but didn’t add a better overall running system.

Love them! These will be my new brand moving forward. Extremely comfortable and lightweight.

This was my first foray into the On brand, and I am so happy I made the leap. I love the feel of these shoes, and undoubtedly the style. Ive had many compliments on them already.

Great quality and size seems true.The pictures don't do these shoes justice.I didn't buy these to run in,I'm just very active and like running shoes for every day travel.

Very springy shoe. Feels great during a run or walk. It takes some getting used to at first. If you notice on the picture, the heel of the shoe is angled. Most shoes have a thick heel. This one creates an angle that causes a comfortable forward rolling motion. It's almost like you can jog or walk with less effort. Really glad I got the shoes.

I have been very happy with these shoes for running - all of the other reviews are pretty accurate - quite comfortable and feel well constructed. I have owned them for less than a year, and they have not gotten too much wear. Today, one of the eyelets simply ripped. I don't tie my shoes too tight, and this would appear to be a design flaw/ Zappos was great with arranging a swift exchange.

Just received these. So far so good. Great shoe, comfortable fit.

First try on felt weird, but got used to how the shoe works. After a short time (2 weeks) they did not keep the support and I quickly got uncomfortable. Very thin on cushioning around feet. Very good airflow. Not recommended for over pronators.

Really like these shoes. Some may be a bit suspicious of the treads with the holes. I've often tried shoes like this and been disappointed but these are very well constructed and strong. I am overweight and starting to run again and I find it to be a very supportive stable shoe. The lacing is pretty firm and contours very well to the foot. One thing I really like is the tongue is not too chubby and hot, so as other reviewers said the shoes breathe well.

I bought these shoes 4 1/2 months ago as I read the reviews and the shoe seemed very comfortable. For the first 3 months, this shoe lived up to the reviews. Unfortunately, the comfort I once felt has now turned to aching feet. The shoe has lost its support and doesn't have the feeling of walking on a cloud anymore. I do not jog/run in them, rather, I used them for cross training. I was hoping to get a few more months wear out of them, but that does not appear possible anymore. In addition, they squeak a lot when wet.

The positives: Very stylish and the most comfortable shoe I've worn. Recovery from a fractured tibia, this was the only shoe that provided enough cushion to run somewhat normal ( used to use Asics gel lytes 2 and 3 ). The negatives are 1. The shoe retains sweat so the longer the run, the heavier they get. 2. The tongue needs to be redesigned as it cuts into the front party of my ankle ( not an issue if you wear longer socks). 3. Shoelaces are too long and flimsy - I double knot but they still seem to loosen over time (replaced with speed laces). Overall a great shoe and will continue to use until fully recovered from fracture and can transition into something more responsive.

I love my prior pair of On cloud shoes, but on this model, the top of the tongue has an edge to it which is very uncomfortable to wear with short socks. Bummed.

Great arch support, but heel actually feels a little low. I liked the look and weight of these, but they weren't as comfortable as I had hoped.

These are great! They certainly felt a bit strange when I first walked around in them, but they feel great to run in. I got theses shoes to help cope with my knee pain and I gotta say they definitely do help. As far as being any faster, well I can't confirm that. Warning! The toe box is a little narrow so if you have wide feet be fore warned!

These shoes are fantastic. They were recommended to me by a common sufferer of plantar fasciitis when I was having severe heel pain. As a weekend heavy hiker I was really missing the great outdoors. Despite shoe inserts I still had pain. I've been wearing these now for a week as well as on a 4 mile easy hike and it's like I don't even have a heel problem.
