I bought this a month a ago and I use it for my practice from yin to hot power. Not slick at all.

I bought this a couple weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend who raved about her eKO Lite Mat. The color is incredible, and I can't say enough about the amazing grip, especially since I sweat a lot during hot yoga. I'd definitely recommend this.

This is my first legit yoga mat, all the others I have had were cheap and flimsy. I'm so glad I went with this mat, it's durable and I don't slip when I use it. So worth the investment

This is one of three mats I have. The super thin one for travel, one at home and one at the studio I practice at. I like the textured grip and feel like I stick better. It's ok for hot yoga, still need a towel, but I sweat more.

Great mat! Was putting off buying a new one because I didn't want to have to deal with breaking it in... but so glad I did! The mat is super sticky and didn't need any breaking in! Love it!

Very durable, easy to clean, my feet love it. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Color is great. The red is not too bright. There is also horizontal texture pattern that is beautiful and functional and helps with grip. It smells like a natural mat, but hopefully with time it will fade. I love it.

I love my new mat! It always lies flat. It's nonslip surface is great. My only negative issue is that since the mat is black, it always shows white footprints. No matter how clean or moisturized my feet are it looks like I walked on it with baby powder. I'll get used to it. Also, I am 5'7" and the perfect mat generator suggested a 68" mat while I definitely could have gone for a longer size to accommodate wide stances and long stretching.

I know lots of people love the PRO mat but if you like natural rubber mats, the eKO Lite is the best one on the market. A slightly bouncy ride makes me feel confident and supported in all my poses. Plus, this new marbled color gets me so many compliments in class.

I didn't have any problems with slipping and it was so comfortable to practice on. Did have strong rubber smell but I left it out in kitchen for a few days and it wasn't a problem after that.

I was looking for a mat that would hold up with enough grip for a while now and this is it! In the past, my other mats have fallen apart but this has lasted me a while and is the perfect grip! (Squishy enough for my needs, too!) I also wanted a neutral color so the Thunder Grey is perfect! I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone looking to invest in a mat that will work AND last!!

I really like this mat. It's heavy with just the right amount of grip. It doesn't slip on the smooth floor of the studio. It's not very thick or padded (I'd say about medium) as I don't want much beneath me.

This is a great mat for my hot yoga class! Good grip and feel.

I couldn't slip on this mat even if I tried. Losing your grip on your mat during an asana is yet another thing you shouldn't have to think about during your practice and this mat eliminates that issue. If I lose balance it's my own fault, not my mat's! The amount of cushioning is perfect for me as well.

Been my regular practice mat for the last six months. Wonderfully grippy. A great size- not too big (I and 5'7"). Smells fine; the rubbery smell folks have worried about never bothered me. Beautiful colors. A great weight. Seems durable.

I bought this mat after reading a number of good reviews out on the web about this mat in particular, and the company in whole. I bought this for Christmas for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loves it. It has a lot of traction, and definitely provides a nice level of cushioning. Will likely go get one for myself as well.!

This Manduka eKO mat is fantastic! I was using multiple different mats bought from Target, Walmart, and Gaim online. All of those mat we great for beginning, however; my hands and feet started to slip in simple asanas like downward facing dog. Wheel pose was even harder! This mat was intriguing due to its different material. Although there is a rubber scent, the material is fantastic and I do not slip at all, even during hot yoga. I left the mat out in my garage overnight hanging on exercise equipment so both side aired out, and it was fine after a whole night. I am able to hold and correct my alignment in multiple asanas with out the fear of slipping, and fell a better grip than my other mats. Landing is nice a soft too. The only thing I do not like is that marks are left when moving your ligaments around. I would have white streaks during my session, but I guess that is just a personal preference. The mark vanish when wiped down.

I love this mat. It's not super heavy and it's very durable. I feel like a superstar when I take it to yoga class.

This is the best mat ever. Sure, the rubber smells a little funky at first, but it is a trade-off that I am willing to make for its incredible stickiness and eco-friendly nature. I love the yellow and light grey color combination of Stillness.

Fantastic mat! So pleased with this purchase. It does smell at first but the odor goes away. The color is soothing and reminds me of the Caribbean ocean.

Okay, so the mat is a little stinky but it is wonderful! I upgraded from a Gaiam mat and I'm never going back. The cushioning is perfect and the surface is grippy. It's heavy enough that it will never bunch when I hop through my vinyasa. Love it!

I have been using the mat for over 2 months now and I am very happy with the purchase. It take some time for the rubber smell to go away, but I knew about so there was no surprise. The smell did not matter to me b/c this is a high quality mat. I can practice without sliding off the mat and it is more comfortable then the other cheap maths. This mat is a bit heavier then my previous mat but again quality is much better, so I can put up with some extra weight.

Love my new mat, though it still smells a bit. I have aired it out and cleaned it every time after hot yoga class. Also, the packaging was partially torn and one end of my mat was dirty and somewhat scuffed up. I was able to clean the dirt off from it but the scuff marks are there to stay. Thankfully the mat was a great price and it doesn't impact my yoga practice. Also, the 4mm mat is thick enough that it doesn't bother my knees while doing kneeling poses. It is a bit heavy but I'm not trekking miles and miles so it's no big worry.
