These shoes suck. I have faithfully been wearing the Kayanos for at least 6 years now. My first run with these gave me a blister on the back of my foot. Never happened before. After a week to let the blister heal, I tied the shoes tighter and ran. Blister on the top of my toe. After another few days of healing, I ran and my toes were numb. I got another blister, and then another. I hate these shoes. I am throwing them away. Very upset to have wasted the money.

Terrible sneaker. Don't buy it. This shoe is very shallow in the toe box. Most people ordering a D width require space in the toe; for Asics to skimp here is downright cruelty. The shoe presses on the top of the joint at the base of my big toe, even without the laces in and with the shoe fully opened. I will give them to charity with a note that they are virtually unworn and hope they work for someone.
