These were really cute in the photos and in the box BUT they were really wide--like REALLY wide on. The gusseting kept kind of leaking out of the front. Also, I ordered 1/2 size up and I would have had to exchange them for the next size up had I kept them. I'm an 8.5 and would have needed a 10. That would have been fine as they were super squishy on the insides. However, I am sending them back--cute and all. :(

These boots were constructed like firemen boots. The construction is hard and there is an inner liner that is stiff and non flexible. I have never encountered a boot like this so I was surprised. If you purchase these make sure you are comfortable with a stiff fitted boot that goes right below the knee. I returned them because of this.

I love baffin boots and this is my 3rd pair. These boots are super warm and seem to have decent traction. Lets face it unless you are wearing spikes ice can still be an issue. My first pair of baffins came with a zipper and that made it so much easier to put on and take off. These are tough to put on and then lining comes out with them when you take them off. I am a 9 in shoes and i went with a 10 in these. I have with all of my baffins.

These boots do feel as if they'd be super warm, but the liner has an odd squishy feeling. The boot shaft is quite wide, which makes getting them on and off very easy, but also makes them look pretty clunky. I'm going to continue my search for warm, attractive snow boots.

For a big boot they look like they are slim from the pictures. They are not. My husband said they make my ankles look huge. For the record my ankles are normal ankle size.

Solid, very well insulated, just more boot than I needed. Could imagine useful for really cold, heavy duty conditions, like in Canada. But too high, heavy, and inflexible for winter commuting.
