These boots are everything I've been looking for! I muddled through Chi-beria in old running shoes last year, and this year, now that I have these boots, I'm excited for winter! They are definitely tall enough to trek through the snow as I work house-to-house. They are incredibly warm. It takes about 10 seconds to put them on and tighten the laces (I don't really need to tighten them all the time as I sport thunder calves), and when my boot was submerged in a puddle over ankle-deep, my foot remained completely dry. Also, everyone tells me they really like my boots, that for being so heavy-duty, they're very cute.

Love these comfy moonboots. They are super warm, comfortable and lightweight...no fake fur...which is not my bag. They are easy to get on and off and will stand up in deep snow when shoveling out the car. Also has inner tongue sewed to sides so no snow in boot. They are a great basic boot...not apres ski high glamor, but if you've got want to go walking, sledding, etc. they stay on your feet and do not weigh a ton! Also you can adjust the calf width so rejoice both thin and muscular calf people.

I own several pairs of baffins, the sizing seems to have changed. I always order up in Baffins, and this time even though I ordered a size and a half LARGER ,these boots felt slightly tight and very narrow in the width. My normal size is 6.5 US , my other Baffins I sized up to size 8, fit perfectly. The big liner is most likely the reason. I spend 4 hours working with horses in a barn, and these boots keep my feet very warm so far. I normally wear several insulating layers of socks, including one heavy wool pair, but these are so snug I am limited to only to 2 light pairs. I love that this model is taller than the other versions. Laces are somewhat cumbersome and hurt my hands if I want to get them really tight. They are otherwise lightweight and easy to get off. Design on bottom is better and does not retain mud in the treads like my old Baffins did.

This boot is industrial-strength! Super warm fleecy inside, padded, and watertight leather exterior. It was a little too much for city use, so I'm returning them. But I would consider keeping them if I was going to be doing more winter sports. My foot runs a solid 40, which is 8.5/9 in US sizes, these were a little snug, but completely do-able. Being big boots, they are a little difficult to walk in, but they will keep you warm and dry.

I had been looking for a warm boot to replace my very old Sorel pack boots. I love these Baffin boots. They are not as clunky as my old pack boots and they are very very warm. Easy to put on. I ordered a size up from a 9 to a 10. and they fit nice. I can still wear my wool socks in them. Definitely, the best warm pack boots I have ever had. I like that the liner is removable.

These are awesome, beautiful snow boots. Love the quality. They have awesome features - such as pull-on tabs (front and back) to make them easier to pull on. They have an awesome amount of cushioning and feel comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 7 1/2 in almost everything, so I ordered a size 8 in these and they fit snug, but they are comfortable.

This boots are undeniably of high quality. A plus was the way they lace up. In addition to be sturdy and well-made, they were easy to loosen and easy to tighten. However, they were so tall on my leg (my legs are of average length) and stiff that walking was difficult. Construction was so good, though, that I'm going to try to find another style of Baffin boots that might work better.

I absolutely love these boots for extreme weather. I live about a 1½ miles above sea level in the Rocky Mountains and these boots keep my feet warm when I am outside in negative temperatures. I always have cold feet but these boots finally keep my feet comfortable. The liner is super thick and cozy. Too hot for running errands in my opinion, but maybe some would not mind. I added my own insole for arch support and they are perfect. I cannot say enough how much I love them.

Definitely warm! And the other reviewers are right, order a size up. You're not winning a fashion contest in these (although they're pretty basic, and probably about the least clunky they could be given all the materials), but they are warm and surprisingly lightweight too.

I measured my foot using the size chart. I have an 8.5 foot so I ordered a size 9 medium in charcoal. That was a half size larger than I measured but I figured it would be plenty for socks. The insulating insert made them too tight around my toes and over my instep for anything other than none or very thin socks. I returned them (Zappos customer service is GREAT) and got a size 10. They still feel a little tight over my instep because of the insert, but I will be able to wear some socks. The boots pictured show a toggle on the end of the ties but the boots came with plain laces. I called Zappos and was instructed to call Baffin and ask for some toggles and to call back if Baffin could not help.. I called Baffin and they are sending toggles. According to Baffin, the laces have changed from the picture Zappos has. These boots, while expensive, are just what I wanted. I wasn't interested in high style, but they look nice and will be easy to put on and take off, warm and extremely functional for shoveling the driveway and getting out and about.

These are great boots - size up, though I am very satisfied with these boots! I have not had a chance to try them out in the snow yet, but I love the way that they fit. Although they look heavy-duty, they are really light weight. I am normally a 7½/8, but I needed a 9 for these boots.

I bought these for my trip to Boston this winter and I am glad I did! They are SUPER WARM! Very comfy and non slip! I live at the beach so it will probably be a while before I wear them again...but I'm glad I have them!

I think my Baffin Coco boots are the warmest and most comfortable that I have ever owned. It's a bonus that they are also really cute and have resulted in a lot of compliments. I have very hard to fit small, wide feet. After reading other reviews I took the advice to order up a size and got a 7 instead of my usual 6. Glad I did -- I think my toes would be squished in a smaller size, and the 7 allows me to wear heavier winter socks. The wider shaft of this boot was also a blessing, as I have chunky calves. No restricted movement, and they are super easy to lace up. Can't recommend these or Zappos and their amazing customer service enough! (My Cocos replaced some sadly defective Baffin Candy boots.)

I have been hunting for warm boots. This winter has been brutal in NH. Extremely cold, where my Sorels (which I love), but my feet freeze. So I needed something warmer. These boots come with a supreme boot liner! Which you cannot see in the picture. I also have quite wide calves, where size 10 in boots, I was amazed these fit my legs. The laces are not a an issue, since it has the lock/cord thing at the top, easy to tighten quickly. And they are super comfortable. Different than other winter boots, and that is a good thing.

My first ever product review - these boots are made for walking...the slushy, slippery, deep streets of NYC. I'm sure they'd work in the burbs too. They are so warm (even in sub zero temps), always dry, super comfy and tall enough for my 5'10" frame. They are also wide enough for my not skinny calves and I can even stuff legwarmers in there and they fit great. So easy to put on, I just step right into them, no need to do any lacing or straps or anything. Easy off too. They may be too clunky for a very petite lady but for me they are perfect! Price great too.

These boots are super warm! On my freezing cold walks, the only warm parts of my body were my feet & my calves, thanks to these great boots. They are very bulky boots and not the most flattering, but they are lightweight, waterproof, and built for the worst that winter has to offer. The boots remind me of "firemen boots" but I highly recommend them and the gusseted tongue goes nearly all the way up the boot, which is great for deep snow. The traction is also really nice, since no one wants to slip and fall on ice.

These boots are super comfy! They are all about cushion!!!! I wear a 9 1/2 so ordered a 10. I wear a thinner sock so I think they will be just fine (if not, it's because of my bunion) My other foot suffers a Morton's Neuroma but the toe box is sufficient not to make it feel cramped. I love the tall boot for deeper snow. I have no doubt they are going to be super warm. Just for fun I tried on a Sorel Joan of Arc (size 10) to compare but nope--no comparison--the Baffin is far more comfortable and roomy. Yes, I recommend them!

They would probably be amazing in the snow and cold - super insulated even in the toe bed. However, they are very stiff, and difficult to get on and off. If I needed to stay warm in below 0 weather, I’d consider them, but it rarely gets below 15 or 20 where I live - it’s more boot than I need.

These are MORE than a size too small! These boots were cuter than expected, although not as cute as Joan of Arctic by Sorrel. Coco was my favorite of several Baffin boots that I tried. I liked the black slightly better than the taupe, although both were nice. I wanted to keep the Baffin Coco, as I thought they would be warmer and more comfortable than Joan of Arctic. Unfortunately, the Baffins were too small. They were ALL too small. I ordinarily wear a size 10 tennis shoe (medium to narrow). I ordered a size 11 Baffin Coco. Even with thin socks, all of the Baffins I tried were too small. As far as I can tell, Baffin does not make a women's size 12 in anything. (They also don't do half sizes or varying widths.) This is unfortunate, given how small their sizing is. As for the fit, even though the shoes were too small, they seemed comfortable to walk in. This has to do with the shape of the calf, which pushes your foot to the front of the shoe when standing still. When standing still, I could feel my toes being pushed into the front of the shoe. However, when walking, my feet slid to the back of the shoe and felt like they had more room. In the end, although I really wanted to, it was too risky for me to keep them. I wanted a pair of boots I could take on an arctic expedition. These are very insulated and good quality. However, I've heard too many horror stories regarding ill fitting boots. Thus, until Baffin decides to make larger sizes, I will have to pass. The Joan of Arctic boots will actually probably be best for day to day use in NYC, as winters are not that cold here. However, I worry about taking them to Vermont and Canada, as I get cold easily. The Joan of Arctic boots were warmer than expected, but noticeably less insulated than the Baffin Coco.

I have had these boots for 2 years and live in VT - they get worn a lot. Aside from some minor scuffing these boots have held up extremely well I agree these boots feel like the old school moon boots super cushy on the interior They are warm even when walking in snow and slush My foot has never been wet in these boots Easy to put on - I slip them on and never tie and they are fine since they are tall the only reason that they did not get 5 stars is because they are a little clunky If you want to look cute and that is your main goal take a pass on these. If you have to stand on a ski slope and watch your kids race all day, shovel the driveway or do some sledding w/ the kids in knee high snow these are your favorites!

Ordered 2 pairs of Baffins, Madeleine and Coco. I normally wear a size 10, so following the advice of many reviewers I got size 11. The Madeleine was huge, too long in the foot, huge in the calf, more fashion focused than warmth. It zips up the side, so adjusting the laces doesn’t do much. The Coco was well insulated and more comfortable, but was too short in the foot. I would have kept the Coco were it not for the length issue. Overall disappointing, especially since I had to wait so long for them to show up; Zappos shipping speed is not what I remembered.

Though they more or less feel true to size, all the interior padding makes you want to order a half size up. Only problem is, they don't come in half sizes. Normally wear size 8 in sneakers so I ordered boots in 8 and 9. With the 8 toes felt a bit squished at toe box and don't think I could walk all day without the possibility of my toes going numb by the end of the day. I'm keeping the 9 even though it feels slightly lose, but at least my toes wont cramp up. Aside from Baffin not making boots in half sizes, it is a great looking heavy duty snow boot that goes great with jeans, and should be great for Boston winters. Great shaft height, no snow/slush should be getting in these boots when climbing over snow banks and slush puddles. One minor disappointment for me was that the laces are no longer bungee ties, but regular laces with added tassels at the end (not my thing and will try to take off).

I ordered these boots because I'm going to school near the Finger Lakes in upstate New York, and I didn't have a good pair of snow boots. I received the Baffin Kristi boots in the mail instead of the Baffin Coco. From what I can see on Baffin's website, the boots are the same except that Coco is a higher boot than Kristi, which was about mid calf height. The Kristi boots were very nice- they were very warm and supportive of my foot and ankle. In the end I returned them and bought the Baffin Iceland boots instead, because I didn't need such a heavy (and a bit clunky) boot for just walking around campus. The boots are definitely made very well, and are very functional. A great pair of boots if you'll frequently be walking around in the snow.

I ordered a size 10 because the size 9 was was too small. Unfortunately, the difference is size is so much that I was swimming in the 10. The boots were otherwise supportive and cushioned for winter boots.
