I bought these for my mother, who wears an 8AA shoe. Should have paid attention to the reviews that said this shoe ran short--it does, for although the length fit her foot exactly with no space left at the end of her toes, the buckle was too short to buckle around her heel. Now they are out of white in her size. I will try other colors, but she wanted white, so....

I should have paid more attention to the reviews that it runs small. I bought this same several years ago and wore it to death. This new shoe is 1/2 inch shorter than the one I have. Also the inside feels tighter. Since this seems to be the consensus of the reviews- why don't you have your Chinese manufacturer fix the problem ?? Returning the shoes.

Loved the look and soft padding but too wide for my narrow foot.

I had a terrible customer service experience with Softspots. They shipped me a pair of sandals that had signs of wear on the soles. When I tried to return the shoes, they rejected the return because of the wear. After notifying customer service, I was instructed to send the sandals back (at my own cost) and they'd assess the situation. The shoes were then sent to me another time with a note that the return had been rejected. Customer service reps on the phone were entirely unwilling to accept that an error could have occurred in their warehouse. I urge customers not to order products made by this company.

I liked them at first, but the construction is lacking. The webbing pulled out of the sole in multiple spots, and it wasn't because they were too tight, they fit well and are comfortable.

I was not familiar with this shoe brand but decided to give it a try because I loved the style. Not a good choice because the leather was stiff and uncomfortable and I also thought the shoe ran a bit small. I tend to have a bad habit of tossing the sales slip before I check the fit so now I can't return the darn things! Anyway I think I'll pretty much stick to brands I am familiar with such as Ecco for guaranteed comfort.

I need a size 12, either narrow or medium width, but this manufacturer does not go up to size 12. That is a pity because I love the styles and would certainly buy/try many of he styles available.

I've tried Softspots many times and am always disappointed in the toe box, it is far too shallow. Many reviewers mentioned that this shoe felt narrow. It is not the width that is the problem, it is the toe box. Get with it SoftSpots!

Thank goodness I read the reviews on this shoe and ordered a half size larger. Just fit. My toes feel jammed in the shoe even with the larger size, so much so that they hurt. When I walk, the straps in back slip and my right shoe squeaks. Not impressed because these shoes were not cheap. On the pro side, I love the color and style, just wish they were more comfortable. Will not be ordering again, unfortunately.
