Perfect shoes for the work

This is my 3rd pair of danskos in 9 years. Only have one pair “wear out” after 9 years of wear. This is my first pair of XP and I definitely prefer them. They do run a little larger than the professional but, IMO much more comfortable. Thought they might be a little too large at first , but after wearing them around the house for an evening , I decided to keep them and I am so glad I did. I prefer the danskos over a tennis shoe because the sole gets my feet up off the hard surface floors and help my legs to feel so much better at the end of my shift.

Bought these three years ago and they still feel great! No foot pain, knee pain or back pain. I work in a busy hospital and I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day. The first two weeks of wearing these shoes were difficult since I was used to wearing athletic sneakers, these are on the heavy side but I got used to that. I felt that the insole was molding to my foot and after two weeks of wearing them the break in period was over. I sometimes don't even take them off right when I get home, I could walk for miles in these shoes. I can do over 20,000 steps in one day wearing these and NO Pain at all! These are great shoes!

I read all of the reviews and based on them I ordered a size up. They were way too long! I returned them and ordered the next size down which fits perfectly. They definitely are heavy shoes and there’s a learning curve walking in them. They were recommended for my back and I hope they are helpful. I unfortunately can’t wear my Birkenstocks as they aggravate my back issues. I’m hoping these Dansko’s live up to their reputation.

The shoes were a full size too big which was unusual for Danskos. I normally wear size 6.5 which is perfect for EU size 37 but these felt like a size 8 even providing for the heel not touching the back of the shoe. There is a full 1 cm gap between the back of my heel & the back of the shoe. Order 1 size down to prevent returns! Wide width was perfect for the toe box.

My friend recommended Dansko shoes for my back. I bought the size 39 since the reviews suggested they ran small. The 39 was way too long so I returned them (thanks Zappos!) and got them the next day in a 38. Perfect fit and more comfortable. I know there’s a break-in period but I’m pretty sure these are going to rock. Being 5’2” I sure don’t mind the extra inch or two platform base. I’m unhappy that they are now $30 less today than two days ago! Pretty sad to see that.

I read the reviews and felt I would have a good fit with my usual size 39. They were at least a size too long. I could fit 2 fingers at the heel. I am returning and will try a 38.

Had these for over a year now and still happy with them. Also, they show very little wear even though they are my go to shoe for work. (I had shiny Danskos previously and was disappointed when the design peeled off!)

I have relied on Dansko clogs for 15 years. Find as I age, my 39 size clogs are getting a bit snug, so trying a 40 and will wear light cotton socks instead of nylon knee highs. Good fit, loose at the back as noted. I am a 9.5 US,so 40 is slightly large, but that ok.

Have worn Dansko for over 20 years. They are my "go to" shoe and are worn nearly every day of the year. After trial & error & returns of other Dansko models, I purchased the XP (black tooled leather). The shoe is wonderful, arch support excellent and like Dansko, makes your legs sing. Debated about a pair of patent leather as oppose dot the tooled leather. My last pair were patent leather. Strangely, they were more comfortable overall (wider box), but this NOT discounting the XP. Feels secure and natural on the foot. The XP is more true to size than the Pro series (they were small & had to be returned).

These shoes were very heavy at first but they provide great support. With each wear they stretch and feel more comfortable.

I had to buy white leather shoes for nursing school and I decided to splurge on Dansko clogs. I've only heard great things - all of which are true. These are the absolute most comfortable shoes with excellent arch support. I don't have the best arches so I need all the support I can get. I wear a size 7 in all shoes, so 37 in these. They fit perfect. By the way I have narrow feet but these aren't so wide that my foot is moving around. Great for all day wear.

I'm still struggling trying to figure out what the proper fit of these enclosed clogs should be as I have worn only open Dansko clogs for 20 years. Reason why I had to switch is issues with my feet- bunion and developing hammer toe on one foot- not pretty but what can one do when in a job where I'm on my feet a lot in a lab. Had to find a good lab shoe with room to fit my orthodics and the other stuff I have to wear now and I really like the XP style as the insert looks very much like the one recommended by my Dr. - and they can be taken out. That's what really sold me on these clogs. Ordered 40 wide and they are plenty lose (usually have 40 regular in open styles as they are not sold in wide) but I'm still exploring the enclosed XP in 40 medium to have a comparison regarding width and room in toe box. Ordered 2 other XP pairs to try from Amazon as the ones I have now are in black and I wanted to try other colors that I could not find at Zappos for XP (and new XP 2 style). So the verdict regarding best size is still out but like this shoe and feels comfortable- but fits a bit lose. Oh, I also have to say that I usually do not wear them with socks at work but just half socks, so I'm sure that makes a difference in fit too.....

I was like Goldilocks, trying to replace my black tooled leather Danskos. I ordered my usual Dansko size 38 in the Professional, XP and XP2.0. The Professionals were slightly smaller than my old Danskos (same size), so I also tried going up a size, which was WAY too big. The XP 2.0's were too soft -- they didn't have enough arch support. So, I guess i decided the XP's were just right - they are softer in the footbed than my old, well-loved Dansko shoes, but still have a great arch. They also feel just a tad larger than the Professionals of the same size. I am hoping they don't get sloppy with wear.

I didn’t have very many color options. Also, please bring back size 43 in the Dansko sandels!!!! I would have stocked up if I knew you were limiting the sizes.

I'm a chef and on my feet all the time. I usually wear a size 10/ 10 1/2, so the 42 fits me perfectly. I've been wearing Dansko for decades. I really like the Pro XP's. They feel like they have a little more arch support and cushioning. This is the 2nd pair I've bought and I'll likely be sticking with the XP's. They save my feet and back!

These are perfect, but had to try a bit to get here. My old pair of XP 39 were too tight in the arch so I tried a 40 W first and my feet were swimming, now have 39 W and they are so comfortable. I love the patent too - great with jeans or for casual work.

I really don't know how to rate these shoes. I always bought Dansko original but now Dansko has a couple of different styles so I have to put more thought into buying Dasko's now. These are the XP style and they fit like a ship on my foot. I bought the size I've always bought but my ankle would roll in these and I would be seriously kissing the ground. They were HUGE so I'm not saying it's a bad shoe it's cut differently from original Dansko's. I think XP's are designed to fit a bear's foot they are huge and I could not get a true fit to give an accurate rating but I can let you know they are cut on a longer and wider scale. I don't usually submit reviews but I'm hoping this would help someone from having to make a return cause I needed some new shoes for support now I have to call and order on the phone to get details on how to order something I've bought for years.

This is my second pair of Dansko’s. First to the XP. The shoe is amazing and I cannot believe the arch support and width support in this shoe. Very comfy and I love black patent. Very professional looking.

I went for a long walk (2-3 miles) in these the first day I got them. They feel like walking in marshmallows! Buttery soft with padding and support in all the right places. I'm a walker, and I need a shoe that's still comfortable after 10 or 15 miles. These are the shoes :)

I've been wearing these for years. Purchased this as a gift for my nurse daughter. Hello? A nurse without a pair of Danskos? Craziness!! She was sooo grateful. Color is brighter and more silver than picture portrays. I actually like the product color better than the photo.

This is my third pair of Dansko’s and my favorite. The picture really does not do the color justice. So pretty. Love the way they fit. Could not be happier!
