I have been wearing this specific type of shoe (Pro XP) for several years. The pair that just arrived have a terrible foot bed! Flatter then I’ve ever felt before. It definitely has less cushion than before. Since I basically live in my clogs, I could feel the difference right away. Sad, really, because i’ve always found these shoes to be exemplary. I have been able to stand for hours without issue! Not anymore. Had to send them back. Save your money and find an alternative. :-(

These are pretty, but the insole is hard. Uncomfortable. Sending back.

These are the first Dansko Pro XP clogs I have ever tried or ordered. I do not like them. They sounded good but my feet felt really wobbly in them. I'm used to the plain old Dansko Pro clogs: I put my feet in them and they feel very stable. I have worn many pairs of the Pros and wear them comfortably all day on my feet, either during my teaching years and now during my traveling years. They only thing I can't do is run in them! The XPs were a real disappointment. I suspect that the inner sole is the culprit but won't bother to test this hypothesis. I want a functional pair of clogs right now! Am making the change today.

Sadly, these weren't a good fit for me. I wear size 7 so I went with the 37. They fit my left foot fine, but were tight around my right toes causing it to be painful with every step. I tried the 38 but those were way too big. My feet were sliding around inside the shoe and I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. I don't have wide feet so the wide would probably cause my feet to slide around as well. The Multi-Crisscross is very cute though and the arch felt good.

I've been wearing Dansko professional clogs almost daily since 2000. I wore them throughout my pregnancy, even walking in them 5 miles per day until 8.5 months. I love Danskos. I love that they are comfortable right out of the box. For that reason, I can't recommend the new XPs. The new, thicker insole means they aren't as roomy, which wasn't a problem at first. One month in, like a switch had been thrown, I couldn't walk without pain, in other shoes or barefoot. The constant, low-level pressure on the top of my foot caused extensor tendonitis... so I'm having to shelf my Danskos. I may retry them later, if I can find a thinner insole for them. I may not, since 4-6 weeks of no long walks or other physical activity is crazy-making. If you notice any pressure or discomfort, please don't try to "break them in" like I did!

Great looking shoe. I had high hopes for comfort but the first few hours of wear I developed blisters on the top of my feet. Now I am stuck with a costly pair of shoes that I can't return. Be prepared to spend time breaking the shoes in , maybe that's the secret. But if it doesn't work you're out of luck like me.

I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day. I thought I'd try these out, and at first I was pleased. I did have to order a size up (usually an 11W) to get the fit right. It did reduce my overall pain. HOWEVER it irritated my fifth metatarsal(Tailor's bunion), caused more calluses, and forced my foot to be flat all day, no healthy flexing. I'm going back to blacked out Nike's. Granted I do have flat feet and wider feet - I shouldn't spend $150 on shoes and then need to see a podiatrist 3 months later. VERY disappointed. Would not recommend.

The Dansko Pro XP fits much narrower than the regular Danskos. It also has a different shape than the regular Danskos, looks more narrow and elongated in my opinion. I bought the same size that I always wear in Danskos, except that this shoe rubbed and my feet REALLY hurt after wearing them for a week! Since I already wore them, I couldn't return them to Zappos, so I was out a lot of money. These are made in China, so perhaps it's because they are made differently of more cheaply. Who knows? I definitely won't buy the Dansko Pro XP's again. I'm going back to the regular Danskos. And by the way, I naturally have a narrow foot, so the fact that these are too narrow and rub the joints near my toes is a bad sign.

Ouch! I have blisters on every toe. I work in a restaurant and by the end of the day I was hobbling. I gave them a few days to try, but they still hurt. I'm returning them.

Everyone said I needed to buy these shoes to get rid of my plantar fasciatis, however after about 10 minutes of wearing them, they rubbed the top of my feet and were very uncomfortable. I was disappointed because I had such high expectations of them.

As a nurse I have purchased 40+ pairs of Dansko over 25 years, in the last 5 years I have seen a steep decline in the quality of the clogs. Shoes that lasted multiple years now only last months. Sad to say this, it is time to search for a better shoes.

I don't know what it is, but these clogs REEK!! I think Dansko must be using some new kind of glue in their shoes, but I am afraid to wear these because they smell so bad. I can smell them even standing up. Same true of the Dansko Reggae sandles I bought to replace some old ones. The news reeked right out of the box. Not sure what change Dansko made in their manufacturing process, but I am very sad!!

Good show until the sole split. The shoe is not durable.

I really wanted to like these shoes but HATE them with a passion. I work in a hospital setting, Not only the shoes support was like walking on concrete but my heels kept slipping out. I already tried the Dansko pro as well and hated them as well. Will never buy again. I give up on these and Dansko pro

These were much larger and much more uncomfortable over my arch than the last pair I ordered. (I only wear one kind of shoe -- Dansko -- so this was ordered to replace my worn out Danskos.) I couldn't believ it. I wore them once to see if I could get used to the new fit! Same size, same type, same color, same socks and they almost fell off my feet!

I have bought and worn many Dansko shoes. I am a total fan of this brand. This was the first time I purchased the "pro" shoes and I am disappointed. They are super heavy and the top cuts into my instep so badly I can't go more than 10 minutes in these shoes! I am an artist and writer and I work at a stand-up desk with shoes on all day. I won't ever buy another pair of these "pro" shoes, the regular civilian ones are much better IMHO!

HORRIBLE for my feet although I've been wearing and loving Dansko clogs almost non-stop since 1998. The XP just didn't fit my foot the same way as the traditional clogs and caused tremendous pain in my very low arches. I am a HUGE Dansko fan and literally have 6 pairs in my closet at this point, but these...OUCH!!! I've tried getting used to them for over 2 months and have just admitted defeat. PLEASE do yourself a favor and stick with the Danskos you know and love. If you're trying these for the first time, my advice is to keep the packaging intact and to test them out for several days in a clean, home environment so you can send them back if they don't work for you. Literally for the past 20 years, since I had my first experience with back pain, I've been wearing Dankso clogs in all but the summer months when Chacos are my go to shoes. I put these on as soon as my feet hit the floor when I wake up and don't take them off until I go to bed, BUT not these Pro XPs--they hurt non-stop. 4 stars for style though because the tooling is a nice touch, but, honestly, they're Dankso clogs, so I don't think I'll ever win a fashion contest in them.

I am a true 40, and these XP's are huge. Had to return them, even though I like the pattern.

I usually wear an 8.5 and purchased a 39. The shoes flew right off my feet if I kicked. I am going to try a size smaller and hope they fit better.

I have worn a size 41 for years. The Pro XP is 41 was to large. Greatful that I could return them for another shoe.

I have been wearing Dansko clogs for 21 years, first as a waitress, and more recently as a medical professional. I wear Danskos essentially every day. I needed a new pair of patent leather clogs, and I accidentally bought these Pro XP clogs instead of the regular professional clogs. HUGE mistake, for ME. I'm sure they are great for some people and maybe they like them more, but for me, I find them much less comfortable than regular Danskos. It's hard to describe, but they don't feel as supportive to me, I think the arch support is less. They almost seem "mushy" for lack of a better word, my feet are often sliding around (and yes I ordered the correct size--again, been wearing for 21 years, I know my size). I made the mistake of not figuring this out until I had already worn them multiple times, and couldn't send back. I finally just ordered a pair of the regular professionals, and they feel SO much better!

The 10 wide was WAY TOO BIG. I slipped side to side and could not stay in these shoes. Major clomping! Don't want to bother with a medium width or going down a whole size. WEIRD. These came so highly recommended, too.

I own many pairs of Dansko shoes. The Pro XP was my first pair of clogs. I was prepared for a longer acclimation period with this shoes, but I adjusted immediately. The Pro XP's are extremely comfortable, and I wore them all day on the first wearing in complete comfort.

This shoe killed the top of my feet in 5 minutes. Returning and trying a wide, and some other brands.
