I own about a dozen slip-on Dansko shoes because they are a reliable perfect fit and are so comfortable to me. These shoes have a bit of a heel rise to them, unlike the classic slip on Danskos. The suede leather is not ideal, however, when wearing these shoes while working in a commercial kitchen. But still, they are so comfortable. I always order a size 38 Dansko, and each time they fit the same, perfectly. I have high arches, and I rely on the Dansko brand to provide the arch support and roomy toe box that I need. I see that these Dansko Celeste also come in smooth black. Hummmmm.....

I am happy with these shoes. I bought them to replace a well-loved and worn pair of Clark shoes that were similar but are no longer made. If you like Dansko clogs, these are lower but have the same clean look and are better when the weather outside is wet, slippery or a little snowy. I have the black milled nubuck I can wear them with nice slacks for work, with jeans, or to go to the gym. They are great if you have to slog through a little snow or slush. My problem with Dansko is that my foot is in between sizes. I wear between a 6 and 6½, which is between a 36 and 37. The 36 is OK if I wear real thin socks but not thicker ones. The 137 is big on me but OK (albeit it a bit loose) with bulkier socks like I might wear to the gym or when the weather is cold. Luckily I have one in each size so I am all set. They are great for New England weather.

I got these because I liked the idea of something a little more sneaker-ish than a clog, but with a nice look; and I couldn't say no to red. They took a bit more breaking in that I'm used to. The heels felt more narrow that other Danskos I've had, and they didn't slip like I expected them to. Now that the heels have relaxed they fit more like I wanted from the start. They're great for general every day wear and I've gotten several compliments on them.

I tried these on (in black) in a size 37 at a local store, and thought they were very comfortable and fit perfectly. However, they didn't have brown, so I ordered them from Zappos. Unfortunately, the 37 in brown was too tight at the top of the foot, so these are going back. Sizing inconsistency like this is very frustrating and seems to be all to common these days!

Very comfortable shoe and true to size. I need to wear to work on those Friday jean days but didn't like the look of the grey around the sole so returning. If it would be a brown, it would work.

The reason why I got these shoes was to have comfortable "no sneaker" shoes (I not only have to walk around a lot, but I have to be quiet). I have to caveat that I didn't get them from Zappos, but from a local store. I am looking for another color and decided to write a review. One of the best features is that it is waterproof, so my feet didn't get wet if I walked through morning grass or through the parking in the rain. However, they did take a while to break in. At first my feet would sweat a lot and they felt clunky, but after a couple of weeks they just got more comfortable. Now, I love these shoes and want to buy another pair in a different color for work. After 6 months, I like the fact they are easy to clean and that these have a couple of more years behind them.

I was looking for an all purpose winter shoe to run around in. These seem to fit the bill. Good traction and warm. They are comfy, but not as comfy as I thought they would be. I have many pairs of Danskos. These, however were my first pair of this type. They are sturdy and will last me a long time.

Runs big. I always wear a 38 in Dansko but these are are huge. My foot slides like crazy so the sides of my feet hurt. Good arch support. Should have returned. Cannot use on uneven ground.

I thought the style of this shoe was cute. Unfortunately it doesn't fit. I'm a size 10 pretty much 99% of the time. This shoe is much shorter and felt like I was trying to squeeze into a 9 or 9-1/2. Also there was some weird bunchiness going on on the arch side like it doesn't really fit to your foot. A little too boxy looking to be cute.

I bought these to wear after toe surgery, for which they worked great. I love the style--more comfortable, less clunky than Dansko clogs. My one complaint is that they are sweat-boxes and do not breathe at all! I also experienced my usual Dansko-dilemma in choosing size. The 41s were a bit too close a fit, and the 42s are really too big w/o thick socks. But thank you, Zappo's for free exchanges!

Definitely the quality suffered when they moved production to China a few years ago. The toe box is much narrower, the width in the center of the feet is too narrow, and the back should be slightly loose, not as loose as the clog, but still loose enough to move a bit. Pre-China, I wear Dansko 37. Post-China, I now have to upsize to 39 in order to fit properly. I say you should buy these in the store; as each shoe is not made to standard. Don't buy over the internet unless you like going back & forth buy/return/buy/return until you find one that fits.

I love the stretch since I cannot wear regular clogs but I wish the toe box was wider. I also hope they make one in regular black leather for professional use for those of us who work in an office setting. Whenever Dansko makes stretchy shoes, they are really popular and yet they do not make enough of them. These are similar to another professional shoe that Dansko used to make and sell for considerably less so the price on these is very high. Still, these are the only shoes that I can wear without my feet hurting.

So sorry to return these cute burgundy clogs. Fit is good...but they squeak when I walk! What happened to Dansko?

I love them, great support but the toe box is narrow..undecided yet if I can live with that or if they will just end up hurting my feet!

This shoe is hard as a rock. It does have good arch support and I might have kept it to try but it squeaks when walking on tile floors. It's going back.

I wear a size 12 and have had the hardest time finding a casual brown shoe. I had hoped this would be "the one." But, alas, it, too, was too short. It felt at least a half size too short. It was comfortable and had great support, though.

Wow, total disappointment. At least a size too large. I wear a 38 in Dansko clogs and have for 15 years. These are really bad shoes based on rolling ankles and I will never buy anything from dansko again except for clogs.

Difficult fit. I usually wear a 7 1/2 US-sized shoe. And I generally love this brand. However, the 38 was too long and the 37 way to small. Had to return both.
