Based on the comments and following and extensive search for boots, I was excited to try these out. I have been disappointed. The boots are made of a matte leather that scuffs easily and looks beat up all the time, even after just a few times out. The boots also rub on my ankle bones, which has made me not love wearing them and has nearly caused blisters, even with cushy socks. Many here have said how these boots dress up with tights for skirts, and I was in the market for boots that could go with jeans, leggings, or skirts. Sadly, these don't dress up. They look oddly out of place with tights and don't quite work with even my most casual skirts. The rubber soles are dull black with brown flecks - as though trying to look dirty out of the box. They are cute with skinny jeans or leggings, for casual wear only. They are warm but not exceptionally comfortable or amazing. I feel like I overspent on these boots with the expectation that they would be comfortable and versatile. Sadly, they deliver about as well as boots that are a quarter of this price. This was my first Ugg purchase, and likely my last.

I was expecting much fuller and comfy wool in the interior, somewhat like the Ugg Classic Suede Boot. Also, didn't realize the boot would be as narrow as it is. Was expecting a slightly looser fit. The buckles are shinier than I expected and gives the boot a cheaper look.

I wanted to like these SO badly. They are so cute and stylish and can be dressed up or down. However, they were very uncomfortable for me. The biggest issue I had was that they rubbed under the bump on the outside of my ankle (there is a seam where the fabric meets there) and caused nasty blisters. They are also rather narrow and rubbed my baby toes to blisters as well. I was very disappointed to have to return them, but I couldn't justify spending so much on boots that caused me so much pain.

So I ordered these boots online. I have many uggs. Classic, flats, and casual. I already ordered these one size bigger than I normally wear and they are still way too small. When I got then out of the box they looked like kids shoes. They are super narrow and not as cute as the pictures online. Unfortunately I have to return them.

Not as cute, comfortable, warm and sleek as I was hoping. Sent the boots back.

I first purchased in the black color. Very good fit, liked the boot so decided to also buy in the brown color. Could not believe it, the brown boot has a totally different, significantly narrower fit than the black. How can that be when I bought the exact same boot size in both colors? Very disappointed, wanted the boot in both colors.

It is not fair to call these boots waterproof! They are only waterproof in about an inch of water. Once it goes over the low leather area on the sides the water seeps in. I would expect waterproof to mean more than just the soles and maybe an inch above.

This is such a wonderful, comfortable boot - BUT - sometimes the reddish-colored lining bleeds or rubs into my socks - I will be contacting UGG about it because I don't want red dye in my socks or on my skin. What a pity, these are otherwise such fabulous boots! Maybe UGG will change the lining in the future.

These boots are so cute. They are just impossible to get on. Customer service suggested I go up a size but my boyfriend helped me get them on one time and once they were on they did fit. They are very narrow and have no "give". Sadly had to return these cute boots I had my eye on for over a year

I was really excited about these boots for winter because I missed the winter boot train last year (everything was sold out). These boots were SO SO SO narrow I couldn't even get my foot in all the way and I ordered a half size up to help this issue. I don't consider myself to have very wide feet either, only a bit wide. If you have wide feet at all don't waste your time on these. VERY cute, but a big waste.

Living in a colder climate, I was excited to find a modern style of boot for the office that could stand up to snow and slush plus actually keep my feet warm this winter! BUT I couldn't get my heel/ankle down into the shoe!!! It was so difficult to put on that I am returning it, and will have to continue my search...

The boot looks great in pictures, up close it's disappointing. It is very difficult to put on since they are very tight across the instep.

I usually wear 8 or 8 1/2 in shoes/boots. It was really hard to cram my foot into the 8 1/2 of this boot with and without socks on. The area around the ankle is really stiff. Once I got my foot in, I feel like the fit length-wise but was on the narrow side. I feel like if I went up to a size 9 my heel would be slipping as I walk. So disappointed because they are so cute!

I use this product in the rain, snow, and slushy weather. The only thing I Do Not like is the leather.

I bought these boots to replace my work boots and I mostly use them in the cold weather for moving and repairing furniture. I was expecting the lining to be thicker (like my Ugg boots from the past - Chantay Item No. 1004151) and for the boots themselves to be warm. But the lining is thin and while they do keep water out, they're not very warm for cold weather climates. I also expected them to be taller - only come a little above the ankle. So, they're not great with snow banks. They are also a little smaller than other Ugg products I've purchased and not all that easy to get on and off, in spite of the zipper with the extended fabric to "open" the boots when putting them on. They're not very comfortable, compared to my previous Ugg boots.
