Bought these for my mother-in-law who is an elementary school teacher. She loves wearing these on days when she has recess duty! They look cute and keep her feet warm.

I live in the Rocky Mountains and traction is a must in the winter. I've always wondered why UGG's never made their boots with good traction, when those of us in cold climates love UGG's for their warmth. Finally I have both, traction and warmth. We've had temperatures around -12 deg. and with fleece lined socks, I've had no problem with my feet staying warm (as there is not shearling in the foot bed, only wool). I wouldn't shovel snow in them, not sure that would work in below 0 temps for a long time of being exposed. They are very comfortable, as I have them on all day at work. I love the Simmens so far, for winter wear. It doesn't hurt that they are stylish. I wear a 8.5, I ordered a 9 as I knew I would wear socks with them. I don't in my Classic Mini. Initially it's a little tight putting them on with mid weight socks, but the footbed is comfortable. I would love them in shearling.

These are beautifully crafted, waterproof and a delight - once you can get them on. I have a good number of UGG boots and typically wear a 7.5 but like a few others have said these boots do run small. I'd like to give the boot itself 5 stars and the UGG sizing system a 1 star. Had to return these.

The only reason I did not rate them 5 star is that I have not gotten a chance to wear them in the rain or snow yet. I did wear them all night to a party at a local industrial park gym reciently. I was cold but my feet stayed comfy and warm. I did order them a half size bigger than I normally wear and I am glad I did. They are not as fuzzy inside as the original uggs but they are lined and I am not sure I would wear them without socks. I love the look of them, more stylish and I can wear them to many different occasions.. these are my first nonclassic style uggs and I am happy with the quality and fit.

These are my first pair of UGG boots and I'm pretty happy with them, however I don't like them as much as I thought I would. They do provide some warmth and are waterproof, which is the reason I bought them. The traction is super good. One of my complaints is that part of the inside of the boot is red and it stains my socks whenever I wear them.

The Simmens is a great boot, leather is well made booth leather is smooth however, I should have gone up 1 size, i found them to be a bit tight had to break them in...so far they are great.

I use these boots daily during the fall to go to class. Autumn is notorious for being really cold and then really warm a few hours later (with surprise rain showers) and these boots are great and ready for anything! I never have to worry about getting them wet or being too cold/hot and they look cute with any outfit. If you've bought UGGs before, these fit (in terms of size) the same. Must have for any closet!!

Stylish but conservative warm rain boots.

Nice looking boots. They are a little tight when you put them on, but feel good once they are on your feet.

Beautiful boot. I will wear in the cold and snow in Spokane. Only down comment is that the finish is not perfect--an uneven look on the left front side of the left boot. Like the finish seal=er or wharever you put on them ran and is visible.

Haven't worn them out yet, but they look great when I tried them on and that's why I gave them 4 stars. Will know more when it's gets colder to wear but love the look first off.

Super warm, water tight and comfortable, these boots will be perfect for any conditions during my winter travels

I returned the waterproof boots because there was a small leak in the left boot. The return/exchange was hassle free and I look forward to wearing the boots in the upcoming winter season.

One year ago, I purchased these boots for a skiing trip as I knew I wouldn't be on the slopes the whole time. They were perfectly warm and my feet were never wet. Since then I have worn the boots to a variety of places. I have worn them in typical warmer climates (less than 80F) and in much colder climates than I am use to (~30F). If you will frequently be in much colder climates, I would recommend purchasing a full size larger than usual. These fit true to size as long as I do not put on socks. Any socks other than the tiny ballet slipper socks do not fit. I love the boots with leggings and a dress or pants. They are perfect for casual wear, flat hiking, and cold/damp weather.
