This boot - Patten - originally, the Maylin without the metal plate on the back - is my favorite Ugg boot! I have worn them consistently in our Las Vegas winters (which are about 4 months and past that time, too- then we have desert heat) and have never had as much comfort in my life - shearling next to my bare tootsies - now, I know why my doggie, a Lhasa, loves to cuddle next to them - she feels they are family! Seriously, they do not become spotted, oily, darkened with 'age', they retain their flexible and yet firm (I mean it - other names do not - they stretch out or become like monster versions of your own feet - this is definitely not Bigfoot - this is classy, classic, simply delicious Uggs they I hope will never go off their classic style list. I hope it is included again next year - I would so like to get them in a dark green with a very contrasted shearling - say - turquoise and acid green - and Wow! What a combo! Or white on white...sexy and apres ski...someone once said to me that Uggs are ugly - I told him that he was ugly! No one messes with my Uggs!

These are possibly my favorite Uggs. Before found these, I bought a very similar style by Bare Traps, which are half the price. The savings were absolutely not worth it. They were heavy and uncomfortable. I am totally addicted to the comfort of Uggs, so ordered these. (On the Zappos video, is the girl calling them "Pattern"?) I agree with every wonderful thing that the other reviewers said. Unfortunately, I also agree with those who said that they were very difficult to get on. Almost impossible! I do have a high instep, and they are very tight across the the top of my foot. They were also tight in general, and my toe hits the end of the boot. I've always worn a size 7, and that's what I ordered. I love them so much that I'm going to exchange them for a size 8 and pray that they fit. Regarding the review that said that they hit a mid calf: I, too, am 5'2", and there are several inches between my mid calf and the top of the boot. They actually make my legs look longer and slimmer. By all means, buy this boot, but order a size up!

Love the look of these Uggs as they are a different spin to the Ugg classics. This is my first pair with Ugg Pure" as the fur type. I am unfamiliar with this change to UggPure, and feel that it may be a material change to be less costly. I like the look of the boots but I am disappointed in the quality compare to my old Uggs. After 2 wearings the fur on the sole is coming off and the shearling is not near as thick as my classic Uggs. For the price these should not be wearing like this and I'm afraid there are quality issues with the newer Ugg styles. I like them but would not purchase again.

This is my favorite Ugg boot in terms of style and warmth. You will get a lot of compliments on the style of this boot. It looks great with skinny workout pants and skinny jeans. I went with another style of Uggs this year because I do not feel like the Ugg Patten's are great for long distance walks. I live in Central Ill, and have a golden retriever that requires a 3 mile/day walk. My feet would cramp in these because there isn't enough support. However, they are comfortable for everyday errands.

I'm a huge fan of Uggs and wanted to add the Pattern to my collection. I have had many different styles and loved them all. This style fits one size small. I'm a normal 10 regular shoe. If Ugg made 1/2 sizes I would be a 9 1/2 because typically my toe hits the end on the 9 but the 10's are very roomy on me. The Pattern 10 fits me like a 9 - my toe hits the end. I was very sad. This made it very difficult to pull the boot on too. I would recommend going up a size if you are on in between sizes like me.

First let me start out by saying that I have never written a review for Zappos.com. I love the look, feel, and width of Ugg Patten. I wear a size 11 and had no trouble at all putting the boots on, as some reviews claim. I must admit that I have slim feet and ankles. I love Ugg Patten.

These boots are true to size and I think they'd fit any width due to the shearling lining. I think a lot of people think shearling boots are too tight when they first get them because the shearling needs a day to flatten out a little. These really should fit tight when you get them because they will get bigger as you wear them. I wear an 8-9 depending on the shoe an Im wearing the 8. My ankle slips a little but that's the nature of this style boot. I wear them barefoot, as shearling is intended to be worn. Not a hiking boot, more a standing around, riding in the car, walking around leisurely boot. Like wearing slippers all day, and they're so cute. Id been resisting the style of tights or leggings and pencil jeans (because those styles look better on slim less curvy figures) but once I got these boots I ordered some tights to wear with them. The pouf ankle kinda balances out my chest and booty, plus i have bigger calves from running and these work well with that too.

These are adorable, but it's a 2-man job getting them on (and off). They're very stiff - like ski-boots - no flexibility in the sole. Not as comfy as I was expecting given the brand and price.

While these boots are super cute to look at that is pretty much all you can do is look at them. Like so many others who reviewed this boot I was unable to get my foot in the boot to even try it on. I tried everything (even using a shoe horn) and failed. This has to be the absolute worst Ugg design ever and I own a lot of pair of Uggs. So unless you have a very flexible foot and ankle that can slide into very narrow openings please save yourself the headache and do not order these boots. Sorry Ugg but you missed the mark on this one.

I usually don't go for uggs. But I must say, I do love wearing them.. I would definitely purchase another pair

My normal size is a 7. these run small. You need to order a size larger.

Super cute, run about a size small. Tight at first across the top of your foot. These were a gift and she loves them!

This is a lovely pair of UGG boots. The fact that that they are pretty water resistant is a very good thing. I am returning them because they did not fit as well as the Kestrel pair that I kept.

This boot is so lovely! Thanks to other reviewers, I ordered a size 8 for my 7/7.5 foot and it fits perfectly. The boot looks rich and stylish and has kept my feet cozy. A great buy!

These boots are amazing for the price point. Very well made and super compfy and warm! I wear a 6.5 and a 6 fits true to size. The top of the show warped immediately from the weather creasing, causing them to look broken in which is fine for me. I would highly suggest these boots!

I was undecided if I really like these uggs or not I debated for 1 week before actually ordering them. I was nervous about the color mostly. When I received the uggs I tried them on and they were a bit difficult to get on I don't remember if it was because I had socks on or not but I tried them on again and I didn't have a problem (I didn't have socks on). Everyone I showed love the uggs I can't wait to actually were them!

As the owner of multiple pairs of Uggs, I must say that the Ugg Patten is absolutely beautiful! I was able to grab these at a great price, post black friday sale! As with all uggs, there is an expected break-in period and especially so with these. The inner fur lining is much thicker and upon first wear, rubbed the top of my foot. After about the third wear this was no longer a problem and they felt like a custom made pair of boots. I wear a size 9/EU 40 normally and in Uggs I always go down a size to an 8...did the same in this pair and it was the best decision. Next to an old school pair of Sundance II's (which are 8 years old and still fab), the chestnut leather Patten is my favorite pair. For the money, durability and style (I'm complimented every time I wear them) Uggs are the best!

I love these boots!!!!!!!! Typically, I wear a 7 in the Classic Uggs, which is why I ordered a 7 in the Patten Uggs. However, the ankle portion of the boot does not give way like the other standard Uggs. So, in a quest to find my right size, I went to the DSW and actually tried on both size 8 & 9. 9 too big....8 perfect. Unfortunately, Zappos does not have size 8. But, DSW did for $38 more....but either way I'm happy I got my boots...

I've been looking for a pair of leather UGGs that are somewhat classic in style - I thought I found them. Returning them because I want the option to wear them up or fold them down. Unfortunately these don't do that.
