These were a difficult fit. I normally wear a 7 wide. I ordered a 7 and an 8. Could not get my foot in the 7. I could the 8 but toes tight so had to get a 9. That fit but big in toes a 8 1/2 would have been perfect. They look huge to me I've never worn a 9. They are very warm and comfy and good looking so I kept. They need a zipper and half sizes. I would order 3 sizes at once to get a good fit.

I purchased these boots about 2 months ago. I love the style and uniqueness. They are not like the typical Ugg boots. They are true to size including width. My only compliant is that they are extremely difficult to put on and remove. After 2 months of wearing, it still takes at least 2 minutes to push and pull until the boots are on. I think that perhaps there should be a zipper on the boot.

I don't understand the true to size comments. I wear a 7 wide or a 71/2 med. I ordered a 7 and 8 the 7 couldn't get my foot in, and the 8 I could; but tight in toes. I sent them both back and got a 9 they fit perfectly. Never have worn an 9 in my life. Was disappointed that they are now made in China! Yet they still charge way too much for them. These boots are comfortable and good looking!

I have mixed feelings about these. I ordered both colors. The black seems to have serious quality issues...I had to order 5 pairs to pick out a less defective pair. One would have a stitching flaw another pair had obviously thinner top lining on one boot than the other, another pair had washed out leather and looked old and wrinkly, another pair had buckles much longer on one boot than on the other and holes on buckles in different places where all together the buckles were in different place because the holes would not match and longer strips. I ended up keeping the pair of Black with different buckles because it was the best pair out of the ones I've seen. For the price, don't think it is appropriate to have such defects. The Chestnut color boot seemed consistent, I only ordered size 8 and exchanged it for a 7 with no quality problems. I usually get size 7 in Ugg which is a size down for me but since for these boots it was not suggested to size down, I got them in 8. I found that the 8 was comfortably loose and was afraid that with wear they will get too loose and start falling off. The size 7 is very snug, of course 7.5 would be perfect but I decided to stick with 7 and break them in. Overall, I'd strongly recommend the Chestnut boot, it is very nice, has a beautiful contrast with a great water-resistant coating. As far as sizing suggestion, it's a tough one with these, my best guess is they will stretch with wear and if you are like me and don't like loose boots, get a size or half a size down.
