These are so cute! They did feel a little narrow but I think as I wear them the padding will compress some. They make my feet look small and I think they will make perfect casual, fun boots. I live in Minnesota and I don't think they will be super warm . I'm not going hiking or snowmobiling in these. These are cute snowbunny boots and will be used as such. I was surprised by how narrow they felt as I have a slightly narrow foot but I'm keeping them . I would recommend sizing up at least 1/2 size if not 1 size if you want to wear thick socks.

I originally ordered a size 10 but the boots were too tight even without socks so I ordered a full size up (11) and they fit much better. I think the liner adds bulk and makes the boots narrower. Depending on the shoe I sometimes wear a 10, 10.5 or 11. I haven't used them in the snow yet, but they feel comfortable and fit so far.

Narrow in the toe box. loose in the heel. Seem like they would be a decent boot if the fit were right.

I previously wrote a review on this boot that I bought 2 years ago. Upon purchase I had to return and buy a full size larger than normal. Over time I found this to be a huge mistake. The padding backed down and now the boot is way too big. My suggestion is it should feel very snug when you first wear it. On a good note is very warm. I live in Maine. My feet are always dry. I love the look of the red boots. They have that backwoods style which is just fun for a city girl. I seldom fold up the collar, I leave the fur exposed. The traction is excellent. The boot is a bit heavy buy most others of similar style have the same issue. No doubt these will last for years. I leave the laces loose so I can just pull on it makes it a bit clunky to walk but normally I am not going far. If you do walk far you will want to take the time to tighten the laces properly. There is no side zip for easy on off (it would leak)

Sadly these will be returned. Cute, warm, not too heavy... BUT very very vey narrow and definitely 2 sizes off with sizing. I wear 7.5-8 in everything. I sized up to a 9 and my toes were jammed up to the end of the boot with a medium weight sock. I have extremely narrow, skinny feet and they were still very snug in width. I don't know how anyone with a normal or wide foot could possibly wear these. Also, the lacing is cumbersome and its difficult to get them tight. They were also hard to get on and off.... Nice styling but I need functional...

I am a 6.5 to a 7 so when I read that these run small I just went with the 7 as these are in whole sizes. They are still a bit snug. Mostly narrow. I kept them anyway and I think after a few more wears they will be less stiff and the inner stuffing will smush down. Then they will fit better. They are warm and a good height.

Based on the reviews I bought a full size larger than usual, and thank goodness. My "true" size is 9.5W so I usually get a 10 for width. I bought a size 11 in these boots and they fit well, but certainly hug the sides of my feet pretty closely. There is not a ton of extra room but enough for thick socks if I needed them. The boots are cute but a bit bulky, especially at a size 11. They are on the heavier side but not bad for the construction and insulation of the boot. I wore them for my 2-mile walk to work and they were comfortable. I finally had a chance to put them to the snow and slush test this week and my feet stayed warm and dry. The are probably even warmer than needed for New York City.

I love these shoes! They run small and thin and you'll probably need to put in inserts (or at least I do). They are super warm and comfy and I like the way they look.

These boots are very comfortable, but like other reviews stated, order a size larger! They will definitely keep your feet warm during the cold winters, but they are very bulky. I had to order an 11 (usually wear a 10) and they look huge on my feet. I am debating on keeping them only for this reason, if you want warm comfy boots and don't have big fee like me, these are the boots for you!

These are great heavy duty warm work boots. As cute as a boot like this can get, I think. I had to return first pair for a size and a half to a size bigger than my normal size. I wear a 9 1/2- 10. I fit perfectly in an 11. Very warm, not concerned at all about comfort or agility in the winter with these.

As other reviewers have written, these run quite small. I am a 5.5 and ordered a 6, but I should have ordered a 6.5. Didn't get a chance to test how warm or waterproof they are because they were just too small. Oh well!

These boots are so cute! The only negative I have with them is they run narrow. They will loosen up as they wear in, its more the sock liner than the boot itself that is overly narrow. I still love these boots, they are cozy and warm!

I wear a 6.5, but my foot is a little wide, so I ordered a 7. Two other pairs of size 7 I had on this order were too big, but the Kamik Sugarloaf was too small! I didn't even have my bulkiest socks on! I am going to try an 8, since they don't have 1/2 sizes. They appear to be well made and they're cute for a snow boot. They have great reviews (on REI, I think) for water proof-ness, comfort, and warmth, so I have my fingers crossed. Since I couldn't even walk in these, I'm not sure how to rate them.
I'd also recommend:

NOT "BUILT IN USA"! It's right on the sole--"MADE IN CANADA", so it's false advertising and why I only rate it a 4. While 2 sizes larger than my regular shoes/sneakers, use their sizing chart and order true to that, you'll get the right size. My left foot fit an 11, my right a 10, so the 11's it is. Clunky, but sharp looking, lighter than they look, and comfortable to walk around in. I wanted a real deep-snow boot with toe-wiggle room so my circulation isn't restricted, and I think this is it. Hope they're as warm as advertised.

First of all, heed what everyone has said about these boots: they run REALLY REALLY small. I consistently wear a size 7 shoe, and go to an 8 or 8.5 in running shoes. I ordered these in size 8, and they just barely fit. No way to wear anything but a light sock with these. My toes hit the end of the boot, even though the arch is in the right place. I also found them very difficult to put on and take off. Lots of lacing that would have to be undone and re-done every time, and still difficult to get my foot in our out. Love the fashion features (the plaid liner!), and it is definitely a warm boot, but it would drive me crazy getting them on and off. They're going back.

First of all this boot is cute. As much as I would like to buy for style only it is not possible. I have D width feet across the toe and instep but slim heels, ankles and calves. Nearly all footwear is made in M-B width so rarely does anything truly fit me. I refuse to buy "wide" shoes or boots as :1. They are hideous, 2. The heels, ankles and calves are wide and the toes are not wide. These boots have a removable liner like a ski boot. It appears that what Kamik did here is make the outside shell to size and then with the liner in the boot, the boot becomes a full size smaller on the inside! The outside, overall appearance of the boot, as cute as it is, is enormous! I wear a 6.5D but they don't make them in anything I'd wear so I usually have to buy size 7 (B) to get more width in the toes and I just deal with the heel slop. I tried this boot in a 7 and it was tight and short as a 6. No 1/2 sizes in this so I tried an 8! The 8 does fit like a usual 7 with decent, just wide enough but not expansive toe room and a bit of heel slop as usual. They don't seem to have any seams poking anywhere or hard spots rubbing, so I am leaning toward keeping them even though they really look gigantic on my size 1 body. They are the biggest boot I have ever worn and they certainly look built to handle cold and snow. Also "built in USA" and vegan to boot, no cows harmed!

These are super cute and look like they will be waterproof and handle the Maine winter just fine plus be warm. They are much lighter than my Sorels. I usually wear a 9-9.5 and so given the reviews I ordered a 10. I often do with with winter boots so I can wear heavy socks. But even the 10 is a bit small. My toe touches the end of the shoe and the lining is not smooth on top so it feels ucky. Back they go. These would have gotten 5 stars if the sizing was more accurate

These boots are great, but huge - Not huge as in they don't fit, but huge as in, I look like I have Monster feet. I loved the flannel poking out, very cool detail, and if it didn't make me feel and look like I was a walking giant, I would have kept. As a petite person, just looked a little comical. That said, I don't really need serious boots living in NYC, but I'd say Northerners would love. If they did half sizes too, just would need a half size up, as they don't, do one full size up. Super warm and sturdy, but not for me!

Hi. I live in Maine and work on a college campus, so I am often walking around outside in snow and rain. I ordered these boots and the Baffin Chicago, intending to send one of them back. These are SO cute. They are heavy, and the traction is deep. I am surprised that they don't cost more. I am definitely keeping them. (I'm also keeping the Baffin Chicagos - my will power: not so good.) They are warm and thick. I wear a nine but prefer a 10 for comfy roominess, and since I read the other reviews I ordered it in an 11. I could wear a thick sock with these, but I won't have to because they have built-in layers of warmth. They are definitely rugged looking; they're not petite little fashion boots; they are functional clunky serious weather boots that happen to have cute details.

Just as most reviews have said, unfortunately these boots were too small for me. I usually wear a size 9, I went with a 9, I should have gone with a 10. The toe space is a bit cramped and I didn't think they would stretch out to accomodate my feet. Had to go back and now I'm on the wait list for size 10.

Cute and comfortable for sure, but they don't feel like a seriously warm boot, even with a cold rating of -40°. I live in a warm climate but have family in Montana, so when I visit in the winter - snow sports are really fun! - my feet are miserably cold. I don't feel these are substantial enough to insulate as much as I need. But they're SO super cute I almost kept them anyway! I wear 7½-8. I got a size 8 and a 9, the 8 was way too small, even with regular socks, but the 9 was good, with enough room for warmie socks.

This is a super cute boot, very well made and stylish. Unfortunately, the reviews about size very much ring true. I am typically a 10.5 and sometimes an 11 so I ordered the larger size. Everything was fine until my toes reached the front when I realized my toes were crunch from the side and touching the front. Despite being the exact same size externally as an alternate I bought, the interior was very different. A very narrow boot, but decent support. Order at least a size up if you plan to wear them with thick socks. Very disappointed as I would have kept them otherwise!
