These were perfect for what I needed them for. Went on a trip to Iceland and needed something that would be comfortable, look decent, stay dry, and keep me warm while hiking glaciers and traipsing through the snow and ice. These did exactly that. Definitely go up a full size from Whaaaaaat you normally wear, though. There's a lot of insulation. They are also kind of heavy, so be prepared for that. Hiking in those felt like I had weights on each foot and made it feel like a workout. Overall, absolutely worth every penny.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! They tend to run a little snug though. She wears a size 7 1/2 and they were just too tight with warm socks. We returned them without any issues for an 8 1/2 and she says they are the warmest, most comfortable boots she's ever worn. Definitely order them 1 size bigger and you can enjoy them right away!

Great boots! I followed other reviewers advice and ordered a half size up. (7 1/2 up to an 8) When I first tried on the shoes, they were a bit tighter than I would have liked, but after wearing them for 3 days, the shoes formed to fit my feet perfectly. These shoes are warm, water proof, and walk well over ice. Great buy!

I bought these boots while in Jackson Wy, February, 2015. I brought my Sorel's along with me, but they were just not warm enough. So I went in hunt of some new boots. While I didn't purchase them through Zappos, I thought I would write a note on them. They do run small. I wear an 8 1/2, but purchased a 9 (they only come in whole sizes, so there wasn't a choice actually), so I would have needed a 9. They are extremely thick with padding on the interior; however, after a few hours of tromping through the snow, the padding conformed to my feet. Prior to purchasing them, my feet were freezing in my Sorel's. I love my Sorel's, but I think the ones I have are more of a rain boot than a snow boot. After buying these, my feet were toasty warm at the end of a day walking in the snow. I would definitely recommend them; just keep in mind there is a slight adjustment period because the interior is so thick. But it does conform rather quickly. I gave them 4 stars on style because they aren't the cutest things in the world. Albeit, they are wonderful for the purpose intended.

I bought these for my wife she usually wears a 7 but it was a little tight around toes, thanks to Zappos' great exchange policy we just got the next size up, problem solved. She said it kept her feet warm and dry after the last storm. I recommend getting the next half size up.

Great boots "very" warm run a bit small so order the next size up. Not as much arch support as I need in a boot.

I wear an 8 and its very snug! I'm not letting that stop me from returning and getting the next size up. They are so comfortable!

Based on reviews I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear in an outdoor boot or athletic shoe (I wear an 8.5 in a normal shoe or sandal and a 9 in an outdoor boot). The 10 fits well, has enough room for socks and allows me to wiggle/move my toes about. I am consistently a medium width but have a very narrow heel and often get up and down lift if I have to size up - not in this case. This boot fits my narrow heel securely and should work out quite well. It is well padded and that could prove a problem for someone with Med/Wide feet. For me, however - they are very comfortable, warm and stable. As I live in Hawaii...these are for a future adventure and will not get "road tested" until this winter.
