I love Keen Sandals so I decided to get this pair of shoes. I require inserts to accommodate foot problems and found that the extra thickness the inserts created make these shoes very uncomfortable. The tongue is sewn up both sides creating a fold when your foot is inserted. When your foot sits higher than the shoe was designed, the fold presses into the top of your foot making them very uncomfortable to wear. Considering cutting out the fold material to see if it helps, but that seems drastic on such an expensive pair of shoes. Otherwise, this is a great shoe and exactly what you expect from Keen. Just be aware if you wear inserts like I do.

One of the top pairs of shoes that I have owned, EVER! Comfort right out of the box; worn to work, and outside of work every day since purchase, and still going.

Every year, I buy each of my 3 kids these shoes- they are super-waterproof, comfortable, appropriate for hiking, running, and gym class, and look pretty cool too. Easy toggle laces are awesome! AND- they last and look great until they are grown out of!

These shoes came very quickly and fit nicely. I work in a boat yard so I'm on my feet all day I need the support and protection from the elements that these shoes are doing a great job to provide.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide, flat foot and these fit perfectly. Be sure to order a half size up from what you normally wear. I read this many place but was stubborn and ordered my normal size first and had to send back. As usual, Zappos delivered - FAST and FREE!

Absolutely love this shoe. Bought my first pair about 9 months ago before trip to Alaska. Now wear them daily, so purchased a second pair to rotate.

I needed waterproof shoes for golf. Had these for 3 weeks now and my feet/socks are dry (course is very wet in am). They are comfortable and I like the look. So far, no complaints.

Zappos was efficient and fast as always, replacing my size 12's with 11.5's and they fit perfectly. These are great kicks - durable and comfortable. So far so good!

I tried about five pairs of hiking shoe before deciding on the Koven. My feet are a little wide but not wide enough for a wide sized shoe. These fit perfect! I haven't been in really wet conditions yet, but so far they are keeping me dry!

Opinions are like armpits, everyone has them and some are less appealing than others. Having said that let me assure you, I've put some thought into this review, I shooting it to you straight. These are some good looking, high quality shoes. They're built as well as any I've seen or worn before. They are however not as luxurious inside as others I've owned. I prefer velour-like and padded ankle collars and extra cushy liners, insoles and padded tongues. These are not that soft. They are sufficient, not luxurious. I've only worn mine in the house due to purchasing them in size 14. I wear a 13... but was prompted to increase a half size as they run small, no half sizes in my range. I may return them for a shoe with the liners I prefer in my correct size. I believe they run true to size in fact. If I had an excess of cash, I'd keep these just to own them. That's how nice they look. Smooth leather exteriors are easy to clean and stay clean longer!

Love these shoes. Warning: it's in the name. Koven Low WP, they will feel low. Very comfortable and lighter than my Patagonia hikers. After one week of owning, I feel they will last .

Love my Keen shoes (and Zappos)! I order 1/2 size larger than New Balance and they fit great - VERY comfortable. I'm SO thankful that Keen offers wide sizes!!

These are my first pair of Keens and they are living up to all the hype. My only complaint is the breathablity. This is probably due to the waterproof feature. I've had these for a few weeks now and will say for the price they are a good value.

Excellent shoe for wet and dry conditions. I have walked extensively in the shoes with no problem. Shoes work great in wet conditions in the garden and vineyards. Fits my wide foot very well.

I wear a 17 in some brands, but this 17 is too big for me (a rare occurrence). I tried the 15, but it was too small. There is no size 16 listed, so I will have to look for something else. Other than that, I liked the shoe very well!

Recently purchased these boots for trekking in Kauai mountain trails. They are very durable, comfortable, and have great taction over rocks and dirt. Highly recommend them.

So far I love my new Keens. Time will tell if the waterproofing will hold up. I really like the styling.

This is a great product and Zappos provided great service. I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered half a size larger. I had to return them. I found them to fit accurately to other Keens that I have.

This is the first well-designed Keen boot. The others have at best a minimal stiffener on the tongue to protect the wearer on downhill hikes from lacing pressure. This one passes my up and downhill tests, and is very comfortable and supportive. And, of course, my toes love the legendary Keen toe box which, unlike other boots, resembles the shape of my toes.

This is probably my fifteenth pair of Keens. They provide firm support are not cushy, but always my go to shoes for a long day's walking (Euro vacations do not happen without them) These are just as ugly (in a sort of good way) as every other model. You cannot beat the comfort. Wide toe-box so if your feet are narrow, I would probably avoid. Order half a size up from your dress shoes, as you would for most athletic shoes.

These are very comfortable shoes. They do tend to be a little warm in the summer but not overly uncomfortable. I've had them for only 3 months so it's hard to say how they hold up to everyday use. A pair of North Face started coming apart after 4 months so I guess the Keen's are doing well. Of course, Zappos was excellent in handling the North Face defect in promptly refunding my money. Can't beat Zappos!

I am on my feet for 12-14 hours a day. I am constantly changing directions when walking. I over pronate and have plantar. These fit good and gave me the stability and support that I need. I am also in a sometimes wet environment and needed some protectionfrom moistuer. So far, I really like these shoes. I do have to wear arch supports as I do any shoe that I wear.

I have around eight miles a day five days a week ever since the summer of 2012. I have worn through the bottom of two pairs of all terrain shoes (New Balance) and a pair of Keen Austins. The best shoes I have used so far are a pair of New Balance all terrains that they no longer make. These Keens are nice shoes, but at that price... The left shoe felt unbalanced/unlevel as if when you step down it felt like-ball of foot, left side, then right side lands on the ground, not a smooth step, if that makes sense. I love my old pair of Keen Austins even though they have no ventilation and my foot gets wet and slimy after a couple miles. These Kovens probably had more ventilation, but I could not get past the unlevel sole and price. I ended up buying a pair of New Balance 490v3 running shoes for a change from the heavier all terrain shoes. The New Balances are cheaper than the Keens, but the New Balances have a level step and are very light. I would like to see Keen make lighter running shoes with good ventilation and a wide mid sole.

I bought these shoes for my husband and had to return the first pair because a loop for the shoestrings broke. Got a second pair and, you guessed it, the same thing happened to the second pair. Very disappointed... Keens are usually so reliable and well made. Otherwise these seemed like great shoes, very comfortable and love that they are waterproof.

Not bad for the price, they are slightly less than most Keens. I have bought two sets so far and both times the rubber separates from the toe. Otherwise they take a pretty good beating.
