No arch support and not as warm as I thought they would be . I had a good snow at my house and the snow still got inside of boot . This is not what I expected especially for the price .

These boots are not meant for wide feet. They are very tight and hurt my feet

These were really great boots until they fell apart on me, which is a shame because the sole is like brand new but each boot split at tge seams. I am no hiker or outdoorsy woman, I wear them when it snows on Long Island, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. A shame thaf they fell apart after not even 3 years.

Just received these and very disappointed. The trim I received is a lot shorter and close cropped. I tried them on in-store and loved the neutral/tan color of the thick faux fur that trims the boots. Without it they look very masculine. The trim I received is a gray color with very short (< 1 cm). Different color than what's pictured here and what I saw in store. Also different thickness. These also run small. I usually wear a 9 and these are very snug.

I bought these boots for use on hikes in the snow this winter to keep my feet warm. When they arrived I couldn't wait to wear them as they are so cute. The problem is that they are way too stiff around my ankles that it restricted my movement. I could hardly walk in these at home, how will I go on a hike in the snow? Sadly, I had to return them.

The boot looks nice and is probably very warm, however, I couldn't even get my foot in. They are very narrow. Had to return.

I have only tried them on. I don't like how they feel when I walk or stand. They are way too stiff. I like how they look on me, but for that price it has to be a win, win all round.

Large and clunky, very masculine. Returning and looking for something a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

I had to go up 1.5 sizes for myself. These boots are definitely warm and very great quality. However, they are very bulky from having to go up 1.5 sizes. I decided on Sorel boots instead for the warmth, style, fit and quality.
I'd also recommend:
Sorel

I've had a pair of Northface boots for about 15 years. So, when they finally needed to be replaced I naturally went right back to the same place. I chose these which are reasonably similar to my last pair and picked the same size. This new boot was much too small! I could barely get my foot in the boot with a pair of lightweight sox. My last pair had room for heavy sox and still gave your feet room to breath and stay warm. None of the stores had my size so I chose not to replace them. The ankle area was very tight as well and I wasn't sure if I even picked one size larger if the fit would be right. I was very disappointed as I always look to Northface for cold weather gear.

These boots run VERY small. I ordered my regular shoe size and could hardly get my foot into the boot. Very unhappy, as I express ordered them then had to return them! Have never had this problem before.

i always bought columbia boots in the past and was disappointed that my last pair only lasted 4 years (these are winter boots afterall) so i thought i would upgrade to northface imagine my suprise when after a year and a half these started splitting on the sides they are only worn about 4 months a year so much for what i thought was an upgrade to a better boot

Got a pair of North Face boots, wanted the best. And the rubber has cracked, only had for a year. Totally not worth the money spent on them. Once it got one tiny spot, looked like a slit. Every time I put them on it spread. Now can't even wear anymore.

The most uncomfortable boot I have even worn. Its bulky and extremely heavy and my feet hurt to the point I cant wear them. the only star is for the fact they are waterproof and warm.

I will say, they are warm and are waterproof. However, they are the most painful boot I have ever owned. I bought a full size up, and the fit was fine. the construction of the boot made them very painful.

The rubber completely fell apart in the cold. This happened to my boots and my husband's boots. So unbelievable for such an expensive boot. North Face was not willing to replace because it was outside the one year. Do not recommend.

These boots are extremely stiff! I was hoping to use them for work but can hardly walk in them. I think they might be better for snowmobile wearing. Also, I'm still waiting for my refund. It's been over a month since I returned these boots.

Purchased these for winter in Northern Ontario replacing some old Sorels. Size wise they are true to size, infact in my actual size 8.5 I feel I would like them a little more snug, no need to size up in my opinion. Now, as for warmth, I have worn on 4 occasions now (in the snow) and I have to say that my feet haven't been warm and snug, they aren't soft inside and toes remained cold, so I am v disappointed and will be reaching out to North Face to discuss. Dissapointed after all of the positive reviews.

I returned these almost immediately. They were so stiff and uncomfortable that it was almost impossible to walk in them. And weeks after the package arrived back at The North Face, I am still waiting for my refund.

Only get snow once a year. Wore them for the third time and they started splitting within an hour of having them on. As much as these cost I'm very disappointed this would happen! See another review with the same problem.

I bought these boots less than 3 years ago and spent close to $200 for them. I ONLY wore them in the snow on Long Island, so they certainly weren't overused.
